2/5 instead of 1/5 as they did good exhaust work for me in the past. I normally change my own oil, but was short on time before moving across country, so let these guys do it. All seemed fine until I went to go change it again just 2mo later myself. The filter was on so darn tight I had to use a pipe wrench to remove it. I gave them a new oil plug to use and they used my old one instead, and it was in so loose I could almost twist it out by hand. Finally, they put in 5q instead of 4.5q so when I went to drain it - it overflowed a 5qt empty jug. So, they screwed up on all three counts. Granted, the half quart over didn't hurt anything, I did manage to get the filter off after a LOT of effort, and the plug was tight enough to not rattle itself loose and fall out or leak... but come on guys - you can surely do better work than that!P.S. My pipe wrench was just a hair too small so had to crush the end a bit with the C clamp in pic in order to fit the wrench over it.

I give credit where credit is due as a local. I took my Camaro SS to this shop for a quick fix as I was going to take it to Knoxville, Tennessee the next day on 700 mile long trip. The weld held up, but wasn t right. When they say, You get what you pay for , it is very true across the board. So here it is after a quick fix, and this happened over a year ago! A pipe fell off from my 2018 Camaro SS and fell off while driving because it was installed by the previous owner with compression clamps (cheap way) instead of taking time and a few extra Pennie s to do it right the first time and weld the pipe s CORRECTLY!.. so I had to deal with his or her lazy disregard for such a beautiful car they will be discontinuing after 2023. The pipe falling off on one side was so loud, I had to roll down the windows all the way down to the shop going 45mph on the interstate the whole way. How embarrassing, most of all, I was worried about the overall health of the car. Keep in mind this is a 6.2L V8 motor. It was shaking the mirrors so bad I couldn t even see out of them, period. After the temp weld job, it did fix it. However, I took it to a performance shop to get tuned, and they went over that car with a fine tooth comb. Kelly Moss Road and Race in Fitchburg fixed it all to the T. Don t EVER go to this MexMuffler shop unless it s just a CHEAP, and temporary fix! Obviously a weak job. Pictures are posted on this as well. Don t go here if you want to poison your entire family in a mini van with CO2. Be careful, and be aware. Never hurts for a second opinion, or for someone else to look at it too.Service: Exhaust

My exhaust pipe rusted out and the flange broke. I drove to mexmuffler at 4:40p.m. thinking they close at 6:00p.m. this isn't getting fixed today. I arrived there at 4:50p.m. and they got my car up within 5 minuets they brought me out showed me the problem said they could fix it in 30 mins and it would cost $160.00 parts, labor, tax and all. (I'm not saying that's too high or too low I don't know enough about auto repair to say that's why I've added what was wrong so you can judge yourself) I was out of there by 5:20p.m. in a very quiet car. Very happy with the speed and service. I hated how loud my car was and was super happy to have it fixed. Staff was friendly as well. In my opinion you should take all muffler work to them. They don't do appointments but don't let that stop you from going. Like I said I stopped in at 4:50 and was out the door by 5:20 also they are open on Saturday and that's awesome for people working the 9-5 m-f. I am adding a photo I found online that is not my car, but the circled part is what was rusted out on my car. That's what they fixed so you judge that $160.00 price on your own. I willing paid it because I couldn't handle my car being that loud anymore.

bad service. Ask for some help for something that would ve probably take 5 mins and did not want to help. I did go 7 mins before but still refused to give me service. Never AGAIN !

Great service, great prices. I called before leaving my house to ask if they were busy so I could come in for an estimate. My car was incredibly loud. They said come on in. I got there and they got me in right away, gave an estimate within 5 minutes and even showed me what was wrong. The resonator was not attached anymore. He said $140 and 30 minutes to fix. They fixed it very fast and the total was the exact estimate. My car is so much quieter now. I will definitely be back if I need service again.

A couple weeks ago, I initially took van to a muffler shop across town, had me left my van and said they will call me later. They had my van for half a day before they called me for an estimate and priced was ridiculously high. I said I ll think about it and picked up my van from that place.So I called MexMuffler, the lady on the phone said come on over, we only do walk ins . So I came over with my LOUD van and went in to the office and told her what was wrong with it. She s like, I think you need a catalytic converter. They immediately took my keys and hoisted it up. It was cold that day. I brought my bike in the van so I can just ride it home so I don t have to wait too long in the shop while they fix it. Anyway, after hoisting the van, they called me in the shop, showed me what needed to be replaced (the catalytic converter), gave me a quote and 30 minutes to do it. I was floored! Quote was very affordable and they don t mess around.I WAS SOOO IMPRESSED. Thank you again.Service: Exhaust

They are always friendly when I call, I finally went in to get a free estimate, they were honest and saved me $1000 just to repair what really needed to be done. I got it repaired right on the spot without coming back for an appointment. It took them last then an hour to get the job done. Happy I went! Highly recommended!

Have been going here for exhaust work for about 7 years and I Had them weld on an s-pipe and muffler and it came out great. Love that they are straight forward, and the price always comes out to be EXACTLY what they estimated, if not less. Always take great care with your vehicle, get the work done in a timely manner, and ask for your opinion of the task at hand so that it gets done to the best of your liking.
