These wonderful people are awesome. We had minor trouble on the road from Illinois to Cascade Ski and we stopped here, it was a minor fix, they charged me a while $7 and sent me on the road with greater confidence that all was going to be okay. The waiting room has a pac man video game and an Asteroid game free play video mini consoles. It was amazing. Out of there quickly but could have spent all day playing old school asteroids. God Bless these folks.

Big fan of the folks at CTR. Honest automotive techs, awesome selection of firearms. No one has ever been anything but polite and friendly. 10/10. Or I guess 5/5, whatever.

Excellent service, every time. I've been in here a few times with a few different cars, and each time I've had a great experience. Most recently, I brought in my Focus ST to get new tires installed. I came in for a quote on Tuesday at about 5PM, and by Wednesday at 5PM I was driving away with the new tires which had been ordered in the day before.There are several ways shops can "scam" customers into paying for service they don't need. I can attest to the fact that CTR is not about that life. I came in asking for brake pads, rotors, and tires, and he called to inform me that after checking the brakes, I didn't need new pads or rotors after all. Some shops would have gone ahead and installed them and charged me for it. Not CTR. Their straightforward, honest, and down-to-earth approach is refreshing. Not to mention the fact that their price for the service was significantly less than the 3 competitors I checked. Next time, I won't bother with the competition. And neither should you.

I took my van in because it was overheating. After I picked it up and left it overheated and when I called them they wanted me to pay another $600 after I just paid $600.

Amazing experience both times I ve visited, both under emergency circumstances. Friendly staff, efficient repair. Had to visit 10 years ago with my Subaru that died on the highway. Visited again this weekend in my Ford, that had plastic hanging from the undercarriage. They weren t even open yet and my car was hoisted up, plastic removed, and I was sent on my way! My daughter was driving from Chicago to Eau Claire and had a tire issue. Chris took the time to fix it and get her on her way. He was very patient and explained everything to her. It made a very stressful situation for her...and me 100 miles away so easy.Service: TiresService: Tires

I had an amazing experience at CTR Auto! After receiving super high quotes and bookings out so far in advance, I was feeling worried some about getting my car in.CTR was able to get my in that same week and for a better price. I had taken my truck there a couple years ago to get a new steering gear box put in, I'd dropped it off in the morning and asked if they could get it done before I had to go to work, they'd said yes and had it back to me three hours later. I'd already had the gear box, so they just had to remove the old one and put the new one in, they had the correct tools for the job,so it was quick and easy for them, where as I had the tools but not all the correct ones. They'd quoted me a price and that was what I'd paid no more. I was satisfied with the work.

They turned my kinda running well truck back to it feels like it's running new. I go to them for all my mechanical issues. Spent at least ten grand over the past few years. I tried replacing my starter my but it crumbled so I got it towed there no issues. You might need to leave your ride for a couple days so have someone follow you there if you have an issue you can't fix yourself.

It's not a terrible auto shop. They did an all right job replacing my stripped oil drain plug and changing my oil. However, their waiting room is very dirty and their work space is also rather grungy. I don't feel very comfortable having my truck worked on in such a dirty environment. I have found other shops in the area that have much cleaner waiting rooms and are altogether more professional, so it is unlikely that I will return to CTR.Service: Oil change

Dropped my truck off here for an insurance claim. Absolutely wonderful people and excellent service. An automotive shop run by real car/auto enthusiasts is getting to be a rare thing.

Awesome place to go for guns and automotive services. I've used both and have been more than happy with my experiences. Went in because I thought I needed brakes and a tire rotation. I was called and told I only needed the tire rotation and that my brakes were fine for couple thousand more miles. I know some places would've replaced them anyways but not CTR. Excellent service and honest advice. I'll be using them from now on for automotive repairs.Service: Wheel alignment

My car, a 2010 Kia Forte, has been loud for a while, so I brought it into CTR. After some diagnostic work, they told me it was an issue with the exhaust and that they could order the part(s) necessary and be able to fix the issue once they arrived. The price was reasonable at around $1200, so I agreed.Today, the parts arrived, so I dropped off the vehicle. They later called me to let me know that the repairs were done, and it was much cheaper than expected, as they were able to fix the exhaust I had, despite already ordering a new one.So, to clarify, AFTER ordering a new part for a repair, they found out that they could repair the one already in place, saving me around $1100. They had already spent money on a new part, and odds are, the total I paid is less than the cost of that part. Despite this, they still did the cheaper fix to help save me money.This is a level of honesty that can't be improved on, and is the reason I will only take my vehicle here. These guys are the real deal.Service: Exhaust

Stopped by on a road trip through the state for a quick repair (to fix the error of a local shop). Chris was great, very accommodating of our tight schedule, and didn't overcharge us when he could have sold much more than we needed. Seems to me like an honest local shop with staff who know what they're doing and respect customers' time, business, and wallets.

A good, clean, professional shop we've used a few times. We had a power steering pump replaced by CTR a few months ago. When it turned out the part was faulty and was leaking fluid (faulty parts happen, not the shop's fault) Chris at CTR instantly said they'd replace it under warranty - no nonsense at all. It's nice to have a shop where you can trust they are doing good, honest work that they stand behind. Recommended.

This place is freaking amazing. They even fix exotic cars that no one else wants to touch. They do a great job. And I've never been to a place where I can get my oil changed and go buy firearms. Everyone is very helpful and very nice in here. I wouldn't buy a gun anywhere else. If you're confused there's a gun shop as well as a mechanic shop and one building. They're very knowledgeable the guns are amazing. I've already bought five or six here. Your pricing is very very reasonable. I highly suggest everyone at least stop in and check it out.

I run a Automotive repair facility in Colorado Springs and needed to get some repair work done on my niece's 2010 Ford Escape. Chris and the ASE certified Technician's at CRT were of the highest quality and standards I've had the pleasure of doing business with in my 20+ years of experience. All their prices were right in line with industry margins and the workmanship and attitudes of everyone makes this shop an absolute gem, I feel lucky to have found them. -5 stars guys!! I come here every time there's something I'm not comfortable doing alone. I've never been disappointed. Quality is great, speed is unparalleled. Price is also very reasonable. I work at a local lube shop and send everybody here due to my excellent experiences with CTR. I won't go anywhere else.

Came to Janesville to test drive a car from a local dealership. Noticing the car felt 'off' we called CTR. It was late afternoon and they were very accommodating to get us in for a quick inspection. There was roughly $2300 worth of work diagnosed for this car. They shared their expertise and opinions, offered their services and skills. Even shared that some of the repairs are best done together to save money. If we lived closer I would definitely be using them in the future. They even have nice sitting area outside! Clean, family friendly, fast, honest, all around friendly crew. Thanks! ---we did not purchase the car. the dealership acting very shady about the findings.

They're professional, knowledgeable and prices are competitive. I had them do my clutch about a year ago and its still holding up without an issue. Today im having them do my oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket and a few other thing. Fortunately, I have not been in the need of a mechanic for the last seven years or so, but my luck ran out when my transmission started making noises. A quick call to CTR and I had an appointment to have it checked out. As bad luck would have it the transmission needed to be replaced. I had an estimate in hand with options to reduce cost when I walked in the door. They had the new transmission installed the day after it was delivered.Very prompt and professional from start to finish. I will be calling again the next time my luck runs out.

They couldn't have been more accomodating. He was busy, but still took the time to squeeze me in with 1 mechanic out. I am a pilot car for oversized loads and I usually need things taken care of as fast as possible. And....believe me, I visit a lot of mechanics in a lot of different places. Hats off to this place. And....ladies, this guy was fair, didn't try to overcharge me or do unnecessary work, but did tell me what probably would need to be addressed, but not necessary right away. His wife runs a gun shop right next door. Nice place to check out for those gun enthusiasts. Used and new guns. No doubt Charity would try to get whatever you need if she didn't have it in stock. She has a nice selection of conceal purses for you ladies too (I noticed right away). Big thank you to Charity and Chris for your excellent customer service.

Competitive prices. Zero up-sale attempts. Very accurate labor/part cost estimation. Approachable front-desk staff. Talk to Chris.They replaced all four brake lines front to back on 2002 Tahoe with in a day of calling. I was upfront about my modest salary and ability to swap parts (routers/pads) and they were willing to assess how long I could wait while saving money.I think they tuned-up the engine a bit as well since the "ticks" are less noisy and frequent.

I received a quote from a dealership for over $5,000 of work to be done. I took the quote to CTR & they looked at my truck. I didn't need any of it except a $600.00 steering pump. They saved me a lot of time and money. And they are great to work with.
