My car isn t done yet, however the customer service I ve received so far is phenomenal!!! Joyce is amazing and they offer you a rental if it s taking longer than expected, they give you rides home and pick you up to get your car!!! I might be without my car over the weekend- Joyce offered to help me with any needs I may have while being without my car.I will most definitely keep my business here!! The guys are really respectful as well!!! They definitely haven t made me feel belittled when it comes to car information!!! Thanks guys for going above and behind while trying to get my car back to me!! I am truly glad I chose this place for my cars needs!!

These people and the work they do are perfect examples of the kind of humans and services we need more of in this world! I'm like a traveling nurse, and last Friday I was on the 2nd half of my 2 day roadtrip back to the Pittsburgh, PA area from Fargo, ND when my cruise control quit on me and my brake lights wouldn't quit...at all. It was windy as hell on the highways, and with my huge cargo bag on the roof, my ankle was already killing me without my cruise control; and stopping was out of the question without killing my battery. I still had 9 hours to go. I'm not lucky enough to have AAA right now, so after some self-diagnosing, I started calling all over the place around 7am. Remember, I'm trying to get home to my bed after 6mos away, and I've got 3 cats in the Jeep with me. So time is of the essence, patience is thin, and due to my location where I know absolutely NO ONE, I'm completely at the mercy of strangers on the road who know I'm desperate to get home.I'd call 5-10 shops at a rest stop, get told that no one had time to see me, hit the road again and hope for the best a few towns away. Finally, someone who also couldn't help me told me to call Centerway in Janesville.The LOVELY lady at the desk put Matt on the phone, and after just a few minutes of listening to me and thinking about it, he told me to come on over. I was only about 15 minutes away at that point. When I got there, my brake light switch was already on order, so they waited patiently while I extracted all 3 cats in their carriers out of my messy roadtrip Jeep and Nate took it right into the garage. What really showed to me the caliber of human these people are was that they put their sweet, but gigantic, two office dogs into a closed room and even seemed to be trying to keep their voices down so as not to freak out my cats! They let me with my 3 cat carriers take up their waiting room floor while they interrupted their Friday schedule to help me get back home asap. Just amazing service and humanity from beginning to end.I wish I'd have paid more attention to timing...but I believe that within the span of 2 hours and with zero notice, they evaluated my problem, ordered my part and had it delivered, and repaired my jeep while so kindly accomodating us during our wait. Their pricing was incredibly fair as well! Without these wonderful humans, I very well might have had to spend money I didn't really have to stay in a hotel for the weekend, which would've meant, on top of the main repair, replacing my brand new battery after the non-stop brake lights drained it. These are honest, kind, and caring people who will take great care of you and your vehicle! They did it for me despite the fact that I'll probably never be in Janesvile WI to use their services again!Thank you again, to everyone at Centerway, for saving me tons of money and frustration that day! I sincerely hope that you're getting back tenfold the kindness that you showed me. You deserve all the best!

Went into the place to get a small nail removed from a tire and the hole patched and received a bill for $187.00. For that price I could have gotten a brand new tire and had it mounted and balanced. Never again will I darken their doorway!

Everyone was very nice, I was able to call about getting my air conditioning fixed and bring my car in the next morning. By the time I was done with work that day my car was ready to be picked up. Zero stars lol these crooks tried to charge me $600 to replace the battery and pursue further testing. They initially told me they would diagnose my car for $154 and tell me what the issues were. From there we could go ahead and fix what was going on. They called me later on and said yeah we need to replace your battery and then we can test your car. It's going to cost you $600 though. They tried everything they could tell me that they need the specific battery and if I replace the battery myself they would lose all of the computer error codes. I ended up buying a $200 spec battery and it worked perfectly. My car works perfectly fine again. Be carefull with these guys.

My daughter and I were in the middle of a road trip and lost our AC on an 87 degree day. Centerway was the closest auto body shop off the highway. We swung in and in a matter of minutes Matt helped us get it back up and running and even educated us on what we needed to do and could do in the future. Very helpful and beyond kind! Would highly recommend!!

This is a great place to take my auto. It was my first experience with Centerway, and I am a big fan. After a thorough overview of my aging auto with photos, descriptions and suggestions, Centerway sat down with me and discussed my options. We decided to pursue a strategy that would be a great improvement. Our brakes were replaced so they work perfectly, and a little noticed fluid leak in the transmission was repaired. In addition, we had the tire rotation and oil replacement. Because it would take a few days, and I was from out of town, I was provided with a loaner car. Now I am driving my auto with confidence and appreciate Centerway's customer service, trustworthiness, thoughtfulness, followup and pricing. Absolutely amazing service. From the time I made an engine diagnostic appointment over the phone because my check engine light came on, to when I walked out of the shop with my keys after the repairs were completed, I was blown away by the superior customer service at Centerway. Brian was very helpful in explaining the necessary repairs and the cost of the estimate, and never talked down to me like most car repair places do to women (in my experience, anyway). In addition, they gave me a great loaner car to use while the repairs were completed on my car at no extra cost, which was definitely above and beyond. The warranty and comparatively low-cost repair were just the icing on the cake.I sincerely appreciate everything that Centerway did for me, and I would never recommend anyone else!

My motor was smoking. I wasn't sure what the problem I just knew is wasn't good.I called Centerway and I talked with Joe. They welcomed this problem. They spent a lot of time just to figure out the cause. They all came together like a team of surgeons getting ready to do heart repair. I met with many of them. They are very knowledgable about what needs to happen to fix a car right so it can get back on the road. Very eager to bring optimum results for whatever the trouble may be. Very calm and honest in explaining what needed to be done and the cost of repairs and the time it would take. I needed this. I needed to know. I trusted them and they did a fine job. Nice place and very nice people! The dogs were a bonus! Unfortunately, I couldn't afford the repair but will go back when able. This garage is the ONLY place my son takes his vehicles to. And that is saying a lot!

Great service! Took my car in to get an oil change and an estimate on my brakes because we were told by previous owner that brakes were needed when we bought it. To my surprise after Centerway looked at the brakes they stated it wasn't necessary yet. Therefore i feel that i can trust them because they could have easily just said that they need replacement.They even picked me up from home to get my car after it was repaired.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Transmission replacement, Brakes, Oil change

Had to have some major engine work done and the staff at Centerway Auto Repair did a great job! The technician s kept me informed of the parts needed and what the cost would be before any work was performed. Overall a very good experience and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great locally owned and operated business to take their vehicles to for maintenance or repairs.Service: Engine repair

Our car broke down in Janesville. I had the car towed to Centerway where Joseph and his team were quick to take a look at the issue. They were patient and professional with me while I had to decide what to do. They were able to get the work done in an extremely timely manner and at a fair price.

Excellent people performing great repairs. They go out of their way to help with scheduling, and work gets done quickly. Well after $400.00 and four (4) trips to the shop they got the issue taken care of! The biggest problem I have with them is they charged me an extra $15.00 for a license plate light assembly that they picked up at the local Nissan dealership. I could have picked it up for $62 + change, and they charged me $78 + change. Will NOT recommend to anyone and I will not be returning! Thanks for wasting my time and money! I won t go to any other mechanics in town!They ve replaced my steering gear boxThey found and replaced door lock on my 28 year old ramVan water pump radiator cooling system rebuild. Fair prices honest people I ll soon be getting my shocks replaced.Instead of going to a cheaper shock and brake place. I choose to bring to Joseph, Mat and crew. Came in because my SUV's wheel bearings were going out so I had them replaced. Did it in a short amount of time and days later the car still sounds great! Will definitely go back again for any future repairs

My wife was having troubles with her suv and the crew at Centerway are top notch. They assessed the problem and called back in a timely fashion. After assessing the problem they offered a few options for how much we wanted to spend as we weren't looking to put alot of money into her car they did a few cheap options to fix the issue and in the end recommend that we might want to look at a new car. Since we already knew that may be the only option it wasn't much of a surprise. I can not say enough good things about these guys. It's tough to find a good shop but I would recommend Centerway to anyone who need quality honest fair work and prices. We can not thank these guys enough for all their help.

We came to Janesville for the night to catch some live music and just as we got off of the highway to hit the hotel the rear brakes started acting up. After calling all over the place in search for help Joe picks up the phone and saves the day. Was maybe an hour before close or so and Joe says if we can get there soon they can take a quick look at it and see if we can be back on the road tomorrow. Fast forward to morning and the car is fixed well before our checkout from the hotel. I could not have asked for better service in a time of need. There are good people left and a handful of them are at Centerway Auto Repair.Service: Brake service & repair

Replaced evaporative module and adapter harness on my Denali. Go there for all my service needs. Have two Lexus ES models and they know how to care for both. Highly recommend for severe needs.

Very fast service and they message about a week later to make sure everything is running smooth on the vehicle.
