I have taken two engines to Pete at C.P. Motorworks. Here is my experience.Pete is one of the most technically knowledgeable, meticulous, and through engine builders I've ever seen. He understands engines at an incredible depth with knowledge of stock AND performance applications. Everytime I leave his shop, I'm amazed at how much more I understand and learn about how my engine will perform.Aside from being an incredible engine builder, he's a down to earth good person who values his customers and customer service. I don't usually leave reviews but Pete is absolutely worth the time to see. In a day and age where it's hard to find the good ones, without a shadow of a doubt, Pete is the premium vintage and performance engine builder in Wisconsin. Period.I won't go anywhere else from now on even if I can get a better price because I know Pete will go above and beyond to ensure my engine will last my lifetime.

I had a cylinder head resurfaced and he did a great job for a great price and very quickly I will definitely use his services again.
