I was having an issue where my ram 2500 would go into 4x4 anytime it wanted to. They tracked down the issue, fixed all the wires, works like a dream now!! They always answered the phone, kept open communication, great place to work with 10/10

My husband David worked with these guys for his truck build, specifically a new trans and is beyond satisfied. He especially enjoyed talking with Isaac & Brandon and getting any questions he had answered. Happy Spouse, happy house! thanks for your hard work guys!

Last June I lost 2 gears in my 2014 ram 2500. I was recommended top gear by a couple people and I wasn t disappointed. My 48re swap with the full manual valve body is doing great and everyone that gets a ride in it says it shifts great.

02 Tahoe Transmission went out Tuesday morning. Top Gear Performance had it on the rack Wednesday midday. And I picked up my truck Friday Afternoon. Rebuilt transmission, Cooler lines, and mount. I was charged Respectfully, for the work that was done, very reasonable, Along with a great warranty.Their service, Timing, And Knowledge, Is impeccable! And professional! Man words aren t enough!!! It s November 17th freezing outside. My roofers truck broke down these guys got trucks galore outside their shop all Cummins. We got a pump issue so they came out in a matter of minutes plugged the truck in, scanned it. Ran to their shop looked at the data pulled from the truck and sending unit grabbed a fuse and tools and got us up and running. They didn t know me from Adam and were the coolest bunch of dudes and you could ask for to work on your truck or car. Polite professional and very knowledgeable. What more can you ask for they didn t even know us and helped us out in a matter of minutes came to the home owners house we are at. Happy holidays to your guys family and the shop as well. Keep up the work you guys will be seeing my Cummins if ever there s a problem. Don t get me wrong.Branden is a good guy. I feel he s very genuine and at heart he s a great guy.But my truck sat for over 7 months with an electrical issue that did not get fixed.I ve paid top gear over 8000$ to have my truck running and it never got fixed. I ended up towing the truck out of the shop still broken. Missing parts and stuff not returned.The first time around the truck has 2 billstein shocks go missingAfter I picked the truck back up. It s missing some hardware. Stuff disconnected and laying all over.My bully dog is also missing. I ve asked 4 times to have my stuff returned with no luck.Lessons learned.Be cautious who you let touch your stuff.Multiple shops have turned me away because top gear touched it first.Services: Transmission, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

All I can say is WOW! Branden was able to get my truck in and out on the same day to replace a ball joint. Branden is extremely honest and easy to work with. He was able to suggest some essential maintenance that needs to be done on the truck. He also addressed me by sir and by my first name multiple times. That is unheard of these days. An amazing local company that is high on service, honesty, and great morals. Thank You Top Gear Performance! I look forward to working with your team in the future and would HIGHLY recommend!!

Add $1000 to their quote and expect phone calls about them wanting to work on other parts of your vehicle. Replaced and charged for parts without confirming okay to do so. Ordered the wrong parts to start then charged for them. My vehicle no longer shifts into park, missing parts in vehicle where they weren't working. When putting interior back together didn't take the time to align the plastics back up or secure them in place. Didn't clear the check engine light after transmission work complete. Replaced universal joint because they had taken the original out to work on transmission. Replaced rear main seal because they replaced the u-joint.Plus side A/C is ice cold, transmission work was completed ahead of schedule (probably why I have issues)Would not recommend using them if your on a budget or don't have a team of mechanics to check their work when they are done.Services: Transmission, Air conditioning

Branden and his team do a great job and are incredibly responsive. I have been working with them for over a year as I restore a Jeep. No matter what questions I have, they are there to help me find the answer and complete the work that I want to be done. Extremely up front and honest folks and we are lucky to have them as part of the community.

When I reached out to branden about my transmission issues he got back to me in no time and they even picked my truck up the very next day, they had my trans tore out, rebuilt, installed and took care of some other odds and ends and had it back to me a week later, and not to mention this trans build is one awesome unit. All other things aside the way I treated by the staff, Branden and his wife were nothing short of amazing, awesome company to work with and they ve gained another longtime customer! I will recommend them to anyone I know or that reads this, they are an awesome business to deal with

Have had them build multiple type of trans in multiple types of trucks! Let me tell ya wow! I beat my trucks more then you think you could possibly beat a truck. Trans from other shops don t last more then 20k miles for a built trans. This place is the only place i ve found that has been able to get a trans to hold up to the abuse I give these trucks. Their builder nate is the best in the business even picked my truck up from my house!Service: Transmission

Top Gear Performance hands down is the best transmission shop In south eastern Wisconsin. I have had so many problems with my 700r4 transmission before bringing it to Branden, I was about ready to use it as boat anchor. Now that the transmission has all the necessary parts it s shifts like a bat out of hell, couldn t be more happy with the customer service, quality of work and price.

Had a 4L60e transmission fully rebuilt. Told them what I was using my truck for and they built for what the truck was going to do.From upgraded torque converter, upgraded clutch packs, and valve bodys they have can build it to your specific application!!Highly recommended

3 times they could not fix my transmission now they want to charge me because the warranty from the original date of service is out of their warranty it was never fixed correctly in the first place! I am going somewhere else to get the job done correctly the 1st time

These guys are awesome and flexible. I call and they deliver and they don't try to upsell you or give you something you don't need. Did a brake job for me and anywhere else they would say you need brakes, rotors, drums, etc.

I had fuel leaking and poor power. Thinking the worst. I wanted to use my 2500 duramax hd for pulling camper at this point no going to happen. So I took the truck to TGP and talked with nick. He new what to replace and what should be done. With him talking with the team they came up with a plan and inspection. Everything that was wrong and could be a proublim was fixed. And price fit buget. Thanks . !!
