I waited for a repair from December of 2022 until May 2023 to have a cosmetic repair done on my front bumper and quarter panel for a collision with a deer because they were "backed up". After the car was "finished", upon first glance - noticed right away there was a 2" patch of unpainted raw steel on the rocker and the bumper was not correctly lined up. I was told by Heppner's that "we forgot" to paint the rocker and align the bumper. A week of waiting to get scheduled, said it would be only a day or two for it to be done once it was in shop. Brought it to the shop Monday 6/12 was told Friday 6/16 they were delayed and car would be done right away in the morning on Monday 6/19. Monday 6/19 I called and spoke to Amber at 8:35AM who asked directly if I was notified that car was done yet, before calling Heppner's. She said it hadn't been touched because everyone was in a meeting and would be done around 11:30AM-12PM. I called them at 3:15PM and was placed on hold by receptionist Amber, 10 minute hold for her to check on it and then was transferred to someone else with no warning. So I explained myself again and was told that it was just finished. Throughout the process Mason and Matt were professional and thorough. Each time I called Amber was condescending and reluctant to offer her assistance. Heppner's did great quality work before on my 2002 Audi so I returned to have my Volkswagen repaired, but I will not be returning ever again. Amber's attitude and our conversation today was the final straw.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Had my 2008 Dodge van into Heppner's after an accidentin Jan 2022. It needed auto body work, but when they foundthat the radiator support on the passenger side had cracked,it was declared totaled. I had driven it in, so I told them I wasgoing to take it to my regular mechanic. I picked it up. Ihad been washing it for over 20 years and I had metal wheels/hub caps. When I picked it up, they had been changed out toplastic wheels/hub caps on the tires. They are starting to crack,peel. I'm still ticked about it.Mason from Heppner's called me after I initially posted thisreview. He mentioned the photos he had taken when I hadoriginally brought my van in after the accident. He wanted meto come in the next day to look at them but I had plans. Hesaid he would call me to arrange another time for me to come in.He never called, so about a week later I stopped in but he wason vacation, so I left a note saying that I am always glad to talk.On his first call I explained that the hubcaps/wheel covers,whatever you call them, looked the the same when I brought thevan home. The only difference was instead of one corrodedspot of the metal that I had been noticing and washing for years,they were all perfect. The Ram head in the center looked alittle less defined on each one, so I tapped one -- insteadof feeling the metal like I had been for years, it now felt lighter,like plastic. That was in Jan/Feb of 2021. It is now Mayof 2023, and the wheel covers are starting to peel, similar toother late model cars which have plastic wheel covers. Igoogled 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan and it says it came withmetal wheel covers. They are still selling them, in the originalpackaging, for $88 each. Oh, and Hepper charged me $175 tohave my van with them until the insurance company declaredit totaled. I drove it away from Heppner's and Gerber AutoBody in Hudson ended up doing a great job repairing my vanand I have been driving it for a year and half now.

Heppner s did a professional thorough repair for us. They even buffed up a couple scratches above our bumper repair without us needing to ask.Helpful and friendly staff.

Our family has brought two of our vehicles to Heppners in Hudson for auto body work. One in 2019 and another just in past few weeks. Both experiences were great! They do amazing work and I definitely trust them. The most recent experience is what prompted me to write a review. The customer service I received from Mason was top notch. He always called timely with updates. I was never left wondering what was happening next or when the completion date would be. Also, their normal paint protection film person was out, so they used someone else who did a subpar job Mason wasn t happy with the work so had me bring vehicle back so their regular person could do it when he was available. Really bad at communicating. I understand that things get delayed, but I have to call them to find out the reason for delay etc and they don't keep me inform of the status. I don't recommend this shop and I know I won't be using them in the future.Update on August 8th, 2023Thanks for the reply. Very interesting. It took google review s response to get the answer of the cause of delay. I was not aware of the reordering of the parts and other detail you described.Yes initially you called 2 weeks ago(my VM was full) and I did return the phone call and you informed me that car will be ready on that week. Then I had to keep calling you about the status of the repair. I will update this review after I get my repaired car tomorrow.

Had an appointment for an estimate, and the guy who did the estimate was TERRIBLE!! He missed so much, right qtr panel and exhaust bent in. Went to a different local shop and they pointed it out to me. When I was there the customer service was terrible, I was back-burnered in front of the guy who took care of other things for the first 5 minutes of me sitting in front of him and the estimate took less then 5 minutes. I told him the mileage and nothing was written on the estimate regarding mileage. This shop seems very halfasx and does not care about the customer. Defiantly a main reason to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

The quality of work was done well. However, even with an appointment (2 months in advance), it still took Heppner's Auto Body 3.5 weeks to finish a job. Like I mentioned, I liked the quality of work but did not appreciate that this time frame was not communicated with me.Service: PaintingService: Painting

I just wanted to share my experience with Heppners. I too was affected by hail, and needed repairs. I spoke to them on the phone and they explained there are just too many people to see every car right away and added me to a list for repair. I'm sure it is hard with everyone coming in and calling. Be patient, I appreciate your help and will update after I get my car in!

Repairs to a vehicle that hit a deer--replacing a headlight, radiator, and hood--took ONE MONTH to complete. Initially had no rental cars available for 5 days. After said repairs were completed, we discovered that they failed to put the insulation liner back in. Had to return to the shop to have that completed. Lack of timely communication from shop while vehicle was there. No calls or updates for the first 2 weeks. We had to initiate contact first. Incredibly poor customer service. Just an update....the repair never was completed to our satisfaction, even by Sept. There was an alignment problem with our hood that was never fixed correctly. We got so sick of trying to deal with them & never went back...even after somebody in the body shop admitted that the hood was never aligned correctly when my husband questioned him about it. Nice. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!

my wifes car was sideswiped in the target parking lot, not bad but you don't like running around looking not kept up, i took it over to Heppners right away, i was there maybe 10 mins. you can't tell it was hit at all, thanks jerry

Mason & the team at Heppner's were amazing. I was consistently updated on the status of my car. All of my questions were answered thoroughly. The repairs on my vehicle were done quickly & the work was wonderful. An added bonus was they cleaned the inside of my car too. If I ever need repairs again I will definitely be returning to Heppner's.Service: Body & Trim

Hit a deer with my truck and took it to Heppner s. They were very communicative during the repair process and did outstanding work. Paint matched and all the body panels lined up well. When I got the truck back it was clean and I was very pleased with the work they did. After hitting a raccoon and causing slight damage to my front bumper I contacted Heppner's. The staff was very professional and knowledgable! They replaced my bumper and matched the paint perfectly! I went in and filled out some papers to get on the waitlist to try and get in for them to perform a PDR. The customer service seemed to not care, just gave me the paper to fill out and fielded a call. No one ever called after that. Taking my business somewhere else now.

Had a comprehensive claim from my auto insurance; they recommended Heppner's Auto Body. Drove over there, they were able to give me a quote ($0 for me), and a scheduled time and duration. It was done when I wanted and they went the extra mile doing a few little things that weren't included in the quote (vacuumed interior, washed floor mats, etc). Professional from start to finish. Great service.

Had to get a front bumper and some other things repaired due to an accident. Mason did a great job of setting up the appt and getting me in ASAP. They were even able to finish 2 days earlier than expected! I had a really good experience with Heppner's Rivercity to fix a sizable ding in my SUV. Mason's communication was top notch and he was always professional, polite, and personable. My vehicle looks like it never had so much as a scratch.Something didn't go according to plan, though: they accidentally dropped my bumper while reassembling things. It had to be repainted, which added a couple extra days. It was an accident, of course, because they are imperfect humans just like me. After all, I dinged it first!Customer service is challenging when you're the one who makes the mistake but Mason and the Heppner team handled things very well. They apologized, paid for the extra days I had my rental car, and made sure I had daily updates about how things were progressing. Mason even stayed a little bit past closing so I could pick up my car today instead of tomorrow since he knew I really missed it.If I need auto body repair again, I am definitely going back to Heppner's Rivercity.Service: Body & Trim

My mom hit a Turkey Friday night so we started looking for body shops over the weekend and ended up calling Heppner's auto body out of Hudson. I spoke with Tony who is very professional and pleasant to talk to. He had a tow truck pick up mom's Rouge that Monday and my mom was back in her car on Thursday that same week. I was very pleased with how they handled everything and how quick they were. I'll highly recommend this auto body shop to everyone.

Great job. They are a very busy place so you need to expect to wait a month to get in and generally a couple weeks or more to fix the issues. Obviously every circumstance is different. So that's not really helpful. They do great work very helpful staff. I wouldn't bring my body work anywhere else

Absolutely poor communication skills between them and myself. I basically had to initiate all contact outside of email letting me know that they found more damage on my car. Car was not delivered on time and had to go back for a hood adjustment and a part that they did not put on the vehicle. I did it reach out to heppner's corporate office spoke to a gentleman by the name of Doug he took my information and never returned my phone call.Service: Body & Trim
