Gilbys' work is always amazing and flawless! Cannot recommend enough! You will never be disappointed! We always give him full creative freedom, and he always blows our expectations out of the warer!

I had my kawasaki gas tank fixed and painted. They also matched the side covers. They were great to work with and did an amazing job. Gilby is an excellent painter. He made it look similiar but with his painters touch. I put a before and after photo. I recommend them!

My 93 Virago was in this shop for 6 weeks for a $23 fuel switch leak repair ($130 after labor). I m sure the mechanics know what they re doing but getting them to do anything was like pulling teeth. It's like you take your bike in, park it in a giant warehouse next to 100 others, and then call and pester them for the next month-and-a-half until they finally get irritated enough to fix it. After one month of no contact or updates, I finally called them and they hadn't even looked at it. Many of the times I called, no one answered. On at least two occasions when I did get through, the front desk guy told me that he would call me back the same day and never did. He eventually gave me this line about how their main mechanic was out for two weeks and they lost time, etc. It actually got to the point where I was worried about what had really happened to my bike. Once I finally picked it up after 6 weeks of chasing them around, they literally typed on the receipt that they didn't even test drive the bike because the front brake lever was slightly bent down from being tipped over in a parking lot years ago. I've ridden the bike thousands of miles each season for the past ten years and there is nothing unsafe about it. I don't usually write negative reviews but if you were looking for a place to get your bike repaired in a reasonable amount of time without having to constantly pester for status updates, look elsewhere. Two stars for the fact that they did take my bike in on the spot and eventually repaired it. Cannot understand all the positive reviews. They probably only prioritize high-dollar bikes like Harley's, Indians, etc. Will definitely not be returning unfortunately.

The staff at Gilby's Street Department has been PHENOMENAL to work with! Whether it was my Buell Blast, or now my new Harley 100th Anniversary 1200cc Sportster, they treat each person and their 'pride and joy's with dignity and respect. John at the desk has been very helpful - over the phone, and in person - and accommodating, and Gilby (the owner) CLEARLY knows the value of treating customers right.Outstanding! And a tremendous credit, especially to our community!Thanks, GILBY'S!!

The best customer service you can get. I needed a very last minute fix for my bike before a trip the next day. Gilbys diagnosed the issue while on the phone and then came to my home to do a quick fix because I couldn't take my bike to the shop. I wish I could give more than 5 stars because that is by far the best customer service I have ever had.

I couldn't be happier with the way Gilby took care of my bike. My trailer wasn't big enough to bring my bike to his shop so he drove out to my house with his trailer and picked my bike up for no extra cost. Bike was fixed within a couple days. Their pricing is absolutely amazing. I was shocked. Will definitely be going here if I ever have issues from now on.

These guys seem to definitely know what they are doing, but when I got quoted for a 600.00+ dollar tire repair which I found multiple other places for under 200.00 I knew this place wasn t for me. Overpriced for sure

Gilby's Street Department does honest, high-quality work. The team has some of the most hard working people around, and you won't leave disappointed. They will go the extra mile to get the job done - from a custom paint job to basic tune up. Best place to go in the area.

Tried to charge 225% of quoteFirst of all Google wouldn t let me give zero stars. I rarely ever write reviews, but this one needed to be written. I took a tank, two fenders, and a caf� fairing into Gilby s in Mid-March to be painted one color .no custom work. He quoted me $800 for the job through email. When I showed up with the parts he said, without even looking at the parts, it would be about $1,800. Wow 225% of the original quote. I should have when elsewhere right then. I had to remind him of the $800 quote even though we talked about it, over the phone, just days before. When I dropped off the parts, I also picked up two tires/wheels that I was having them mount. When I got the wheels home, the rear tire had zero air pressure. I figured out it was a loose valve stem core and just tightened it up. They didn t install the valve stem or core, but did let a new mount job go out of their shop with no air pressure in the tire. There was almost no way to miss the air leak. Air came out as fast as I put it in with the valve stem cap removed.Back to the original story: I was told the parts would be completed by March 28th. The week after the 28th I called no answer so I left a message. My phone call was not returned until a week later. I was then told the paint job should be completed by April 14th, but if not by the end of the next week. I showed up on the 13th the check the progress it hadn t been started. I decided take the parts and go elsewhere. I ve talked to others who have had very similar experiences with Gilby s ..at least the quote and paint part anyway.

Gilby brought to my attention the chain tensioner issues on my 02 Ultra Classic. He did the repairs on both my bike and my wife's. Very happy with the work.

First time i used this place it was amazing . The second time I attempted to have them work on my bike it was extremely disappointing. The guy that works in the office part clearly has no idea what he is doing!
