Great place to bring your car. The service lady Samantha did a great job of keeping me informed on what was happening with my car. I highly recommend speaking with Sammie or Jeremy with any of your cars needs.

First car shop I ve ever been to that has a rewards program - my oil change and wiper blades were free with my rewards points. Staff were very friendly. Definitely our new go to place for car maintenance and repairs.

I strongly advise against using Cordell's Auto Shop due to a thoroughly disappointing experience. The staff's demeanor over the phone was unwelcoming, their tone monotone and their attitude seemingly bothered by inquiries or appointment scheduling. My final bill exceeded $650, yet a detailed breakdown of labor and exact parts and costs was conspicuously absent. Despite repeated requests, clarity on charges was elusive and never provided in written form. Communication was minimal, with updates on my vehicle's status coming almost exclusively when I called.The shop imposed an inspection fee of over $135 without prior consultation or consent, a service I had not explicitly requested. I came in specifically for transmission issues. This lack of transparency extended to their inspection report, which omitted pricing details entirely. It wasn't until I came into the office to pick up my partially detailed bill that I understood a simple front light bulb replacement was billed at an exorbitant $239 (even more than the transmission flush)! They also quoted nearly double for a transmission replacement as other establishments I contacted.When I arrived to pick my car up, they didn't even know where it was. Most shops at least bring the car around for you, but they couldn't even be bothered to point me in the right direction for $650. Then, after this awful incident, they enrolled me in their customer program without my consent. Even though they never mentioned it to me while I was there.This experience left me questioning whether my treatment was due to being an out-of-towner, my gender, or simply their standard practice of exploiting customers' trust. I will certainly never patronize Cordell's Auto Shop again.

Cordell s was amazing to work with. They are so thorough, professional, and they are very easy to talk to when you have several questions. I would recommend them to anyone needing a trustworthy automotive service center.

Always very thorough inspection. Identifies issues that may need attention. Provides clear detailed description and estimated costs for each item. Never have felt any sales pressure. Stands behind their work. Where possible, it would be good for customers to see parts that are replaced before they are discarded.

I went in with a intermittent cutting off of the engine issue to them. They said I needed a new fuel pump for my truck. I agreed to have it serviced and they did it for $1100. Great. Well, within a 2 week span, it did it again and I had to have it towed this time. I had to call for two days to check in on it. Finally I got it answer that it was a fuel module located outside of tank and that at $300 with some change, it could be changed and fix the problem. They also recommended to have it relocated due to it being a issue with other trucks for extra $500. I got off the phone and researched it myself finding out it was a very easy part to replace. Two screws holding it with a plug in. I ran to O'Reilly to get the $50 part and then to Cordells. I asked them did my fuel pump really need to be replaced if it was a simple module in the first place? Their response was yes and that a new fuel pump caused the module to go out. I didn't feel good about it at all and told them I have the new module and will replace it myself right now. They did not argue with me and let me do it. I also asked do I owe anything for this diagnosis...and they replied no. So i went out, replaced it myself and drove off within 8 minutes. They seem to want me just gone. I was very patient and didn't make a scene, but never felt satisfied and also felt lied to. Talking with a few mechanics, they stated this was not the right way to handle the situation on their end. A fuel module ($50 part) could've fixed it from the start. But to try and charge me more to fix the issue that was from the start was the breaking point for me. A reputable company would make it right with the customer, fix the issue, and own up to mistakes. I felt this was not the case at all.

We have switched our vehicles to Cordells in Holmen a few years ago and it's been great. Awesome service with rewards can be used. Prompt on responding and time.Overall will keep sending our vehicles to them for fixing.

I continue to love getting service done at Cordell's. Always super welcoming, helpful and friendly everytime I walk through those doors. The service advisors also make you feel like you're apart of the team by connecting with you not only on the phone but in-person as well. Cordell's displays the "Best of La Crosse County" achievement for a reason!

Friendly and professional service. After I dropped my car off, I was kept informed of progress and given estimates of the cost of the repair. Repairs were completed in a timely manner. Highly Recommended.

We took our Jeep in for an oil change to Cordell's. Apparently their technician mishandled the process and damaged a part. Then the underqualified front desk staff thought it would be fun to charge us over $1,000.00 to fix their mistake. Upon research, apparently that price is double the national average for that repair...that they caused! Cordell's should be ashamed of this behavior and you should not give this company any of your business.Update: Cordell's responded to my review. They apparently looked up a years old previous encounter we had with an entirely different vehicle and responded to that, not the $1,000 oil change.

I had just talked to another tire dealer about a tire repair but was turned away unless I was purchasing a new tire. I have never been to Cordell's garage before but dropped in with no notice to have my tire worked on. I was very pleased at how quick and with such friendly service my project was taken care of. I was sufficiently impressed with the service that I am considering ordering my new truck tires here.Service: Tires

Seat was taken apart and wasn't put back correctly. This is the third time my car has left the shop looking worse than when it went in. The oil inspection also indicated the screws were missing from the cabin filter, which would have been lost by Cordells the last time my car was in for an oil change seeing as that's the last time anyone was under the hood of my car.

Cordell's got me in sooner than any of about 10 places I called.1 place quoted me a price 800 dollars cheaper for a clutch and flywheel, but that was sight unseen so I have no idea if that would have been a final price.Cordell's got my car back in the time they said. Nice people, good service.Update, 2 years later had a major oil leak, and a tie rod and wheel bearing that were going bad. Good timely service. Thank youService: General repairs & maintenance

Absolutely terrible. Garbage people garbage service. 5 people telling me I have dif problems and 2 weeks my vehicle sat at that place. I forced them to give me my keys and took it to another shop and it was fixed that day. Bad coil. Cordel wanted me to replace my exhaust system..... idiots

I was looking for a local automotive shop. I just moved to the area and used one of the big vendors and I was not happy with their service at Cordell s. They didn t try to sell me something I didn t need their prices were fair the shared information with me about what my car would need a certain mileage points, and the best part is the shuttle you to and from your home.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My car made an alarming noise when I was driving and it wouldn t accelerate. I had it towed to Cordells and it sat for a few days before they could work on it (which was totally fine). When they test drove it multiple times over 2 days, it ran just fine and they couldn t recreate the issue. After all the test drives and all the diagnostics I was very surprised with how low my bill was! Everyone was so helpful in a stressful situation.

I really wanted to love this place, the staff are super friendly and professional but unfortunately I had the worst car repair experience here.I made an appointment to have a significant amount of work done. One of the services I was having done, per their recommendation, was a transmission fluid service. Prior to this I was having no transmission issues. I dropped my car off at 8:00 am on a Friday, and they ensured me they could have it done by the end of that day. Shortly before their closing time they informed me the car was done. I picked it up and as I started driving it almost immediately felt my transmission wasn't shifting right. I ended up driving 7-10 miles total with the transmission slipping more and more the longer I drove it. I took it back to Cordell's but of course they were already closed for the weekend. I checked the transmission fluid and the dipstick was reading completely dry. In a panic I took it to O'Reilly's where there just so happened to be a customer in the store who owned his own mechanic shop (Lee's Auto Repair LLC in Ettrick WI). He came out to look at the fluid level and also confirmed that the dipstick was reading completely dry. He then assisted me in adding 3 quarts of transmission fluid to get it to even show up on the dipstick!Cordell's also left a tool under my hood which is very minor but is another indicator of the carelessness that was used when working on my vehicle. I understand that mistakes happen but this is a mistake that could have ruined my transmission. I am concerned that there is permanent damage to my transmission from the bit that I did drive it on such low fluid.

I took my van in for a simple oil change. Cordell advised it had a coolant leak which I agreed to repairing. The "report" with the rest of their findings was all good. I went and picked up my van. Less then a mile down the road the battery light comes on. I went back and they looked at it again and then tell me I need a new alternator!! This was never mentioned before. This is the second time they have done this to me! Fix one thing....drive away and there is a new expensive problem!! This was on December 23 right before Christmas when I need my van. They fixed it for free of charge. I will not go back. I can't trust Cordell's to service my vehicles!!
