Found this today and had a great experience. Caleb and I agreed on a fair price on a lightly used saw. He helped me out and hooked me up with new clutch springs for my old saw that he had on hand while I was there. Awesome shop and look forward to doing business in the future!

Caleb and his guys are a great team. They offer great services and are super friendly.I recently purchased a 592xp Husqvarna. It was kind of last minute deal (got there right at closing time) but they waited for me to get there to buy the saw. They had it all set up ready to go when I picked it up. I paid for it and headed home. Got home excited to fire it up and try it out. Couldn't get it running, so i did some diagnostics myself. Couldn't figure it out. Got ahold of Caleb, on his day off even. We went over a few things, and agreed something weird was wrong. So he said bring it in, we'll get it taken care of ASAP. I was there for ten minutes and the mechanic was able to identify the carb was shot. Lucky for me they had a new one on hand. Half an hour later I had a running saw and I was out the door.I will be returning in the future to continue to use their service and sales sides of their business. Thank you again guys!

Purchased a Stihl blower and love it. Inquired on a smaller unit and ended up getting the big one, it worked awesome. Also purchased a mower from them 2 years ago and I forgot to pick up the front bumper that we purchase, brought it up when buying the blower and they looked up the order from 2 years ago and grabbed a bumper for me no questions asked. Greatly appreciated them correcting my mistake, AWSOME.

One of the best businesses in hayward. Awesome customer service and the best products you can get. Just got a stihl ms661 c and she rips. Make sure you break in any small engine you get.

Caleb was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I drove across the whole state to buy a Ferris ISX 3300 from Ramer Small Engine. When I upgrade to the latest model in another year or two I will be returning to Caleb to buy another one. Highly recommend!!!

I feel 1 star is way too generous of a review for this shop!Brought my Honda lawnmower in for repair and was told the ignition coil needs replacement (a $20 part) and they wanted to charge me half the cost of a new lawnmower!!! It didn t end there as I was charged a $75 look see fee and then got my mower back in pieces (even the spark plug was removed and not replaced!). BEWARE of this place .I vow to NEVER go back!!!Hi Dan, we do have a minimum charge of $62.50 for diagnostic on walk behind mowers. This is because we need to pay the technician for their time working on your mower, regardless of whether or not it is fixable. This is clearly stated on the check in form that you signed when you dropped the mower off, and is clearly stated on signs at our front counter. The $62.50 is for a half hour of shop time, which we actually spent more than that amount of time working on and looking up parts for your mower. We never like to charge anyone for something we don't have to, but we work on so much equipment that is not worth fixing that there's no way we could afford to stay in business if we did not charge for our time. I hope you can understand. Thank you - Ramer Small EnginePerhaps you won t stay in business long if you continue such poor business practices. By the way, all I saw in your shop was teenagers! Who the hell gives back a machine that is in far worse shape then when it was brought in. For gods sake, you placed the parts in a plastic bag and attached to the mower handle?!!! You removed my spark plug and didn t even put it back? Again, what a joke but my experience WILL be shared!BEST OF LUCKI'm so sorry if we did not make you aware of these 2 things, the diagnostic fee and the policy that we don't reassemble not fixed equipment. Did you see either the sign or read the check in form? I really apologize about this. We have been trying to find ways to communicate better and I do know we fall short many times - Ramer Small EngineYou most certainly do/did fall short!!!Again, I will NEVER step foot in your business again and frankly shocked that anyone else wood. It was important to Caleb that I was happy with my service at Ramer Small Engine. I asked him for help with part of a repair on my riding mower. He helped with what I requested, despite being super busy, and came in early to meet me and follow up on some questions I had. He went out of his way to build a relationship vs just charge for a repair.

I recently brought a saw in to be fixed. They asked me if I was in a hurry, I told them no. In approximately 3 days it was done LOL. I highly recommend them.

I traveled from my hometown to get an opinion from this dealer walked out a happy customer an honest advice and knowledgeable people willing to go the extra mile for their customers. stayed with me 30min after close during the process absolutely recommend this small business to anyone. keep them going I want them to be in business for a long time

He works on our snowmobiles does a great job! When I got one home from him it wasn't quite working right, took it back, he made some adjustments gave me some tips on it and its working great! Good service and good repairs. No question TAKE IT TO RAMER SMALL ENGINE REPAIR!

I've taken my boat motor to Caleb twice when I've managed to mess it. He fixed it both times to new working order and his prices are very respectable! Don't be afraid to take your repair needs to him!

they had a very competitive price on the machine that i wanted. gave me options and staff was helpul getting me into a zero turn that suited my needs. good financing program. no complaints. have done business with them before and will again in the future.
