Naylor's is the busiest, most organized professional operation. They do great work at a reasonable price. They communicate very well, which is important!

Largest shop in town. Don't care much for the owner. He comes off as extremely smug, arrogant and condescending. Questionable billing practices. Was billed 1 hour labor to replace a plug n play part which took 10 minutes to change. Parts are marked up insanely high from the parts store they purchase from. Current labor rate is $120 hour as of 07/21. Won't allow you to bring in your own parts so they can rake in more money on the marked up parts they use. They say they offer warranties on the parts they install, but don't say how long the warranty period is for. When I asked where on my receipt the warranty info. was the receptionist rudely ripped it out of my hand and wrote "6 month warranty" on it then slapped it on the counter. Rude, unprofessional and dishonest is how I would summarize this place. Definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Naylor's has put new tires on my son's vehicle this month and my vehicle last year. Their staff is very friendly. Prices are good. We have not had any issues with tires to date. The only down side is their parking lot is so full it may be hard to find a spot.

Very knowledgeable mechanic here at Naylors. I am retired and fishing near Hayward when I was ready to go home my Ford F-150 had a code light go on. Thus I went to the local Ford dealer to see if I could drive home seven hours away.They checked the code and reset it and charged me $114 and said I was good to go home.I drove out of the driveway at the Ford dealer and code back on. They checked again and said it was ok to drive home.I went seven miles and it came back on and My truck was stuck in third gear..I made it to Naylors Auto and they checked it out they were very informative and help me to get on my way. Walked in without an appointment but with a car problem. Diagnosed the issue right away, ordered parts and had it there and installed in less than an hour. We then discovered another issue caused by the first problem. But they are working on it and plan to get the car running as soon as possible. Great service, friendly people. If I lived closer they would get all of my car repair.

I am a long-term, summer visitor to the area. My regular mechanic is back in Chicago. A small rattle in my car's undercarriage couldn't wait as it had gotten worse on the ride up. I'm always hesitant, given the stories and my experiences, to try a new auto repair shop. But Naylor's was great! The Google Reviews initially lead me to them, so a big thanks to the reviewers!It was easy to make an appointment. I waited at a coffee shop about a mile away, did some work, and a few hours later they called me to tell me they solved the problem. A shifted and loose exhaust system. My car is now running smoothly and their price was very fair. I appreciated the clear communication about what was wrong and very much felt that I could trust them with other concerns.

Had a sudden issue with a tire. They were able to get me in same day with short notice. Did a 4 tire replacement and double checked to make sure there were no other issues. Flexible on my pick up and drop off with me working that day. Highly Recommend!!!

I trust Naylors. I use them for all my auto repairs. They make required repairs in a timely manner at market rates with reliable results. Have never been disappointed with their work or service.

This business always usually looks busy. I do not know if it really is busy though. I have set up an appointment to do an alignment and I was told that I couldn't get in until a week after I called. The day that the appointment was set up when I got there the guy told me it would about a three and a half hour wait because he was still waiting for a part to come in to get a another car off the lift. I didn't get my alignment here because he told me the same thing twice about how I had to wait extra longer because he was trying to finish some truck for a week straight ...

Great company. Front office very courteous and helpful. Mechanics very knowledgably. I have used their services several times and recommend them highly.Company ethical and honest. Had an engine light on my Jeep go on and they found a very simple fix with minimal cost.went out their way to repair my daughters car when she was in town and had limited time to get a the repair completed.

Had some diagnostic codes that needed to be evaluated, and Naylor took care of. While they could not repair, they gave me some peace of mind to drive to dealer 100 miles away. Recommend, especially if you have Toyota or any foreign car in the Hayward area.

I trust very few to work on my automobiles. Naylor's always seems to get the job done and are honest about it. Very informative and will help you make the right decision for your situation. They have also been very accommodating to work around my schedule. This is something I can appreciate, a lot.

Absolutely garbage place of business. I called about replacing a part in my vehicle, told them it was a special order part. I didnt have a problem paying them to get the part or pay them to diagnose it. I just wanted the part READY. Well, thats not how they do business. They typically diagnose a part and wait for it to come in the mail Refused to buy the part locally because thats not the vendor they use.He also insulted my abilIty (the CUSTOMER) to diagnose my own vehicle. Then I proceeded to ask him if he has ever done this job before. NEGATIVE.Thankful i didnt bring my vehicle to these big brain technicians god forbid they have a part ready for a vehicle your paying by the hour for them to work on

The service was excellent. We dropped the car off Tuesday afternoon for a Wednesday appointment. Before 5:00 pm that day a mechanic called us with a diagnosis and a quote. The quoted price was less than expected. At 8:00 Wednesday they called to say the repair was finished. The final price was as quoted. The repair fixed our problem, so we are on our way!Service: Engine repair

I called short notice, my alternate went out. They had it fixed and ready to pick up in 3 hours. Now my local go to repair shop. Definitely recommend them Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

If you are having car trouble Naylor's is a great option in Hayward. Friendly staff and excellent service. Becky at the front desk is always polite, and knows what she is talking about. Have always had great same day services on my vehicle.

Called in to discuss a possible misfire issue on my vehicle. Talked to a guy "technician" named Dee on the phone. He told me to bring it in so he could read the codes. When i got there they were very busy (thats a good sign for an auto repair shop, thats how you know they are good at what they do) i waited for Dee about 20 minutes, he read the codes and explained everything to me very thoroughly. Nothing seemed to be dire so he cleared them and I went on my way. If I ever need work done I would definitely bring it to this place. They genuinely care about you and your vehicle, they have a great professional attitude in general.

We were visiting from out of town and had a coolant leak. We found the auto shop using Google search, but they were closing in 1 hour. They got our vehicle in the shop before closing. Naylor's was able to diagnose and fix our problem immediately, allowing us to leave for home on schedule. Great customer service from this local auto shop. Highly recommended.

Got in pretty quick for oil change, and to check break light and other checks, they found i needed brake shoes,calipers ect told me what was needed and cost, told to fix and was done next morning .I was impressed. I made apt for my second vehicle for oil change. Great service and fast.thanks for service.

I was on vacation in Hayward and experiencing problems with my car. They took my car out for a test drive to determine the problem along with using one of their machines to diagnose issues. Diagnostic check revealed a Throttle Clutch issue which could not be dealt with immediately and I was headed home the next day. They did not charge me anything for their time and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend Naylor's to anyone experiencing car problems.

I will never go there again, the owner is very rude. My wife took our car there because it was starting intermittently. She left the keys there (with attached electric starter fob on chain). They called the next day and told her it was the fuel pump, so she told them to go ahead and install it, this was a Friday. On Monday, she was told that the car was done. She went to pick up the car and it did not start for her. She went back in and told them it was doing the same thing. One of the mechanics came out and put the computer on it and she went inside to wait. They gave her a loaner car and she waited for them to call. The next day no one contacted her until she called a few times. The owner came on the phone and rudely stated that it was her fault that she did not tell them about the electric start, she stated that she handed them the fob with the electric start on it. He told her that the fob could have been used for anything. He said he usually gets 100.00 an hour for electrical work, and after chewing her out, he said he would charge her 150.00 and she went to pick up her car in tears. I might add that my wife has Multiple Sclerosis, and this was stressful for her. She also wondered why they did not test it more before installing her fuel pump. We are feeling totally ripped off by this business. I would not recommend them to anyone.

They are great. I was on vacation and unexpectedly needed new brakes. They were able to get new brakes installed and I was on the road in a little over a hour. Highly recommend this place.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Drove an hour to get there after calling the day before and making appointment to fix my truck brake line only to arrive (early) and be told by owner in extremely rude manner he is calling it a day early and he doesn't need our business. Pathetic. Don't waste your hard earned money with this jerk, he will likely waste your time and money. Another shop was happy to do the job the next day, oh, and $120 cheaper. Run, don't walk from Naylor's Auto!!!!

Manage to get in quick but the labor prices were ridiculous even if they only had one mechanic. It also turns out they didn't completely repair my brake system after I allow them to replace the entire thing. I'm suspecting they didn't fill my oil after changing it either

My vehicle broke down while driving through boise . I contacted Naylors to see what they could do to help , they went out of their way to to figure out the problem get the parts and fix the issue and got me back on the road the same day ! Amazing customer service and great price !Thanks Naylors auto!
