Service was excellent. Everyone was very courteous, including all the sales staff who passed by. The work I needed was completed expeditiously and they keep you informed of progress both in person and by a website and application. Most interesting to me, they are pet friendly, so my dog was able to wait inside with me.

I had a poor experience with don Johnson's service and I wrote a bad review initially. However I was very pleased with their response to my poor review so I decided to edit it. The service manager was great! She got back to me right away and insisted she would remedy the issues with the department. She also gave me a full refund.

I like this dealership. They are very thorough and have an app to track progress. Just had winter tires switched out and they warned me about my breaks. Took a little longer than expected as they started assessment 50 minutes after appointment but I still am very pleased.

They did a superb job, takes a lot to impress me when it comes.to maintaining vehicles, and the hayward location nailed it. Pleased with alignment, and the fact that they bent over backwards to come and get my vehicle, and returned when finished.

I took my car in for an oil change and nothing else. After 55 minutes I had not been notified if it was done so I looked out and saw it parked in the lot. I waited another half hour and was not notified that it was done so I went to the service desk. The advisor still had not finished processing the order yet so I had to wait 10 more minutes.

Service was amazing! They got my car in the shop right away and repairs were done in a timely fashion! Service advisors and techs were all very friendly.

Went in with two ideas, met Eric Butler who listened to my ideas. He let me think out loud and gave his thoughts which was great. Answered all my questions and went with me on the test drives and explained both vehicles. No pushy customer service here. Mr. Todd helped with the financing and again nothing be pushed everything being educated to me on options. He welcomed questions and explained things to me I never would have thought of.Buying a new vehicle has never been more comfortable or smoothness than with these two. I will be back when I am ready for a new vehicle and hope to have these two gentlemen assist me again!

Thanks to the service dept for fitting our suddenly non-functioning minivan into their already busy repair schedule. And thanks to the mechanic for the effective repair that allowed the engine to again operate smoothly and be driven back to our home.

On vacation 5 hours from home late on a Friday afternoon and had a screw in one of my tires. Two tire stores in town said no way they could fit it in so I stopped into Don Johnson's to see if they would fix it. They were getting ready to close and sweeping the floors when I stopped in. The tech said sure we'll take care of it and I said but my pickup is a Ford Ranger and he said he didn't care and fixed it right away. It only took about 15 minutes and we were on our way. I tried tipping them because on the weight they took off my shoulders but they wouldn't accept it. So thank you Don Johnson's Chevrolet for going out of your way to make our vacation worry free, I sincerely appreciated it.

The actual service was fine. What I have a problem with is the check list results highlighted a leaking power steering line needed to be replaced ($300+) and that it was declined. I did not receive a call and I double checked voicemail and that was negative.The technician was not truthful indicating it was declined. That has a significant impact on trust and you will loose business if you aren t trusted!Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Had the hardest time just getting a call back from the service department. Usually always had good service there but I don t know if they are short staffed or what! Think they need to hire a couple more service advisors! I think part of the problem is that all calls go to rice lake who have no idea what is going on in Hayward

I was in the area for deer hunting and was able to get scheduled for brake inspection on short notice. Dropped the vehicle off on Tuesday evening and after evaluation on Wednesday, the repairs were completed so I could pick up vehicle by 5 PM.

The extended warranty I have was not very helpful in replacing my engine. Mark and Melanie were very helpful in working with the warranty company in getting my car back in good condition.

I took my Sierra in to have the transmission looked at. I dropped it off, to give them a few days. The next day they called, and said they got it in already, and what it needed.The Tech who was working on it, got too it!Had it back, at home, in a few days.Thank you to my Tech. Can not express how pleased I am with Don Johnson Hayward. The mechanical staff did great work with my 77 Corvette. Mark was my main contact & he was fantastic with updates.
