Needed to replace the A/C low pressure hose "cap cover"> Cheap plastic piece > hard to find > impossible to inventory. Todd said "give me a minute, it would be way in the back if we have it", NO Snarky look, NO eyeball rolling, NO muttering to other employees.Returned 5 minutes later with two pieces in hand. "Let's go make sure one fits" as we walked to my car. Todd made sure it fit and charged me $3.54. GREAT EXPERIECE! I'll be back for all my auto needs.

I didn't make a purchase here, I was just helping a friend but I browsed the shop while we waited and was really surprised by the amount of parts/tools/supplies they had in stock. I've seen their work trucks driving through town and always assumed they just did body work. Their selection definitely rivals the 'big' chains and I'll keep that in mind for my projects.They've also got a machine shop if you need engine work done or brakes turned down.

I have been doing business with this branch for many years. My belt came off my truck early in the morning before business hours I made it to the store and the manager was there early. He the idler pulleys, belt, tensioner pulley in stock. I was able to get back up and running. I was supposed to help my mom get my dad to the hospital for a chemo treatment, but it all worked out.

We had Dale redo a cylinder head and clean other components and we were very happy with his shops work.

I had a block built here about a year or so ago and something went wrong after a few 100 miles took it apart to see the wrist pin seized up on a floating wrist pin, and the rod caps to the crank were not in the correct places which fried my crank bearings. If you take your stuff here make sure to double check there work!!

I have found this to be one of the more reasonable shops in Hartford. BUT from my last several experiences, the customer service is very lacking and the employees are not very helpful. If you know exactly what you are looking for, have no questions about your project, and do not care about their lack of open hours, like I said, they have good prices.

We use the machine shop for rebuilding heads for our refers units i usually drop off and pick them up. They do a good job and return them in a timely fashion
