Ever since I came in for the first oil change, the staff have always been friendly, dependable, and accommodating. When a repair is going to take a while, I love the courtesy ride to and from home. The drivers are kind and helpful when it comes to local landmarks and suggest restaurants!!Most of all, there are no surprises. I get updates when promised, better estimates than other service centers, and, most importantly, a problem or repair is explained in layman's terms so I can understand what went wrong and how it was fixed. I can call or stop in for just a question and get the same terrific treatment every time!

We have been loyal customers of Huron for years and have never had a bad experience. Just recently had some work done along with a last minute request to repair cracked windshield. The team at Huron was able to accommodate the ask on short notice. They are always up front and honest with cost and timing of services to be performed.

We ve been taking our vehicles to Huron on Velp for over 10 years as we work on maintaining them for a long ownership lifecycle. Josh and Dion and the mechanics are always up front with us on pending repairs and maintenance for our vehicles (2011 Toyota 4 Runner and 2014 Ford King Ranch). They explain our answers to our questions. I believe our work with them has given us confidence to take many trips and travel without any issues. Great service, easy scheduling, consistent and reliable.

Recently I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I called Huron and they not only got me in the same day but I was in and out in 20 minutes. They have been a great place to have my vehicles serviced. Had my oil changed and tires rotated before a 200+ mile drive, no problems and the service was done within an hour. They supplied a desk to work at and drinks while I waited. Both the gentlemen behind the desk were pleasant to work with and I had a nice conversation about cologne with Zach. Great experience overall.

Had an appointment, and was given a time window of when to expect my vehicle to be finished. I waited an hour past that, then called, only to find out they hadn t touched my vehicle yet. So they had it a full day, which meant I was at home, unable to go about my business, and they didn t even look at it. When I bought it in, I explained my need to get my vehicle at the time that they had estimated. I was assured the completion of the issue, within the time window given to me. To find out they hadn t even touched it, ended my relationship with Huron. Am now going about a mile away, for a lot less money.

NEGATIVE STARS!! The positive reviews have to be fake because my experience was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!I definitely would NOT recommend this place. When I made an appointment I told them that my vehicle would occasionally overheat on the interstate and when I turned the heater I could smell something burning.Appointment day heater not smelling as bad (I changed cabin air filter which seems to have helped some). Proceeded to tell 2 employees including Service Manager my vehicles history since I have owned it. Then mechanic takes it out for test drive (supposedly onto interstate) with heat on (2 clicks - not nearly high enough for testing purposes) and states it didn't overheat on him so they WILL NOT look at ANYTHING including the heater. I have never heard a mechanic say that in the 30+ YEARS. So I guess I am supposed to wait until my vehicle completely dies or blows up then they will be glad to repair it, but of course by then the repair bill will be MUCH MUCH HIGHER.Because vehicle only overheats occasionally shouldn't mean that they give up on looking for the reason that it does overheat.I am THANKFUL I didn't give them a penny of my money.Then after I walked out employee (obese dude) ran out the door to tell me that littering is illegal. I accidentally dropped a napkin I had in my hand. What a D..K!! Yes I was beyond angry when I left but I didn't litter and sure don't appreciate him saying I did.AFTER HURON replied to my review I called Service Manager, Deon, who stated "he would NOT do anything different". Meaning they would NOT try to find out why vehicle is overheating on the interstate ONLY and why heater smells like something is burning.He said if they cannot VERIFY the vehicle is overheating (basically calling me liar) and they didn't smell anything (basically I IMAGINING the smell) they won't try to diagnosis the issues. What mechanic IGNORES vehicle issues AND IGNORES a customer complaints???He said they checked the antifreeze levels and they were fine. I'm NOT a mechanic and even I know that DOES NOT mean anything. There are thousands of articles and videos online that agree with ME. It could be the thermostat, fan, clogged/bad radiator, vacuum leakage, clogged hoses, drive belts, water pump (probably not since it's not leaking), etc. But do they care to look at any of those things? NO!! Deon said he doesn't want to waste my money. WHAT?? Like a BLOWN ENGINE wouldn't cost me money.Like I said previously they DO NOT want to find the issues BEFOREHAND they want to wait until vehicle DIES or BLOWS UP. I wouldn't go to them even for an oil change or even if they offered me free diagnostic testing. There are COMPETENT mechanics elsewhere and hopefully I can find one before it is TOO LATE. Thanks for NOTHING Huron!!!!!!!!!

I should've known better after a different vehicle I took to Huron had 2 front bearing hub assemblys fail that were installed by Huron on Velp. I took it in for the 3rd time and was told "that the noise/problem has to get worse before we can diagnose it." Are you kidding me? Now to my current issue, brought my vehicle in for a normal realignment. No issues stated after I paid, the truck wasn't badly out of line, they adjusted it no problem, right? A day later I hear two different clicking/vibrating sounds coming from the front right wheel. I take it back to Huron and they find a pinched 4x4 vacuum line that isn't working properly. I've never heard this sound before, it suddenly happened after the realignment. I have them fix this line, and the problem/noise still isn't fixed, now they need to dig deeper and figure out if it's a wheel bearing kit, integrated hub kit, etc, costing up to$1,800. I'm pretty handy and do most of my own maintenance but this is fishy to me, especially with my previous issues with two failed hub installs. I'm never going back to Huron.Edit* I will say after contacting Huron about this situation they did address my concerns and were very helpful in righting the situation. Great customer service after my experience. Thank you to the Huron team.

Wish I could give 0 stars. Waited 4 hours for a wheel alignment and almost an hour and a half of that was waiting for someone to do a final test drive. Pretty ridiculous to drop something off at 11am and still be late to somewhere at 4pm. Avoid this place.

When I stopped at Huron Automotive Service Center on Velp Avenue I was losing air in my tire quickly. The gentlemen at the service counter was great. They were very busy so the manager took care of my tire for me. Thank you!

Service was prompt and polite and quality seems good, but do not allow them to submit rebate forms for you. They did not submit the correct information so our rebate was declined. We are out $250 because the rebate expired before we could get it fixed. Very shady on the part of both Huron and Goodyear.Service: TiresService: Tires

Staff was friendly and knowledgable and able to get me on the calendar quickly.When it came to what needed to be fixed, they added in a bunch of unnecessary things. Obviously saw a female that had no clue what was actually wrong and took advantage. I was able to get a second opinion from my friend that works at another Auto shop. ( Huron is convenietly close to my place of employment so I thought I would give them a try first). I ended up having my car fixed for $1500.00 less than what I was quoted at Huron. I recommend not using this establishment if you don't know anything about vehicles. They will take advantage of you.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

A long, long overdue review. I have been doing business with Huron for over a decade, and not once have they failed to have excellent service and quality. They deliver on promises, timelines and are great with notifying you if something comes up during work, laying out options how to proceed and asking permission instead of just doing work and giving you the bill later. Deon is especially great with his professionalism, knowledge and customer interaction. He is a huge asset to the business. I don't even live in Green Bay anymore, but still make a trip up there just to get my vehicles worked on by them. I highly recommend Huron Automotive, and look forward to giving them my continued business!

Josh and Dion are great! I had a nail in my tire that required it to get replaced and they got me taken care of that day. A week later I had to get my husband's oil changed and they found a light out and got that replaced as well. The team at Huron Automotive is great. They are professional and easy to work with, upfront about costs before they do the work, and honest about the risks of waiting on a repair vs. moving forward right away. I am always grateful for the courtesy ride to/from the shop when I don't have someone available to drop me off to pick up my vehicle when it's finished. We use Huron Automotive exclusively. As an LGBT couple, our experience with the staff has been outstanding. The service we have received over the past four years has been above and beyond. The staff are always willing to listen to your issues, explain things in ways you can understand and they stand by their service. Recently we have had a reoccurring issue that they were willing to revisit multiple times at no additional cost to us. They are friendly, kind, and honest. We recommend Huron Automotive to all of our local friends because we have been highly impressed with our overall experience. Special shout out to Joe! If you want all of your service in one spot with honest people you can trust and a staff that is more than willing and able to answer any question you may have you need to come here.I moved to the area about four and a half years ago. A car buddy's stellar recommendation brought me here, but the exemplary service, honesty, and quality made me stay. Even above these, however, is their willingness and ability to educate. I'm naturally curious and like to learn more about the giant death machine I'm in charge of handling, so I always go in with questions. They always have the answers, and sometimes beyond that. My favorite example is when I was learning about the condition of an unfortunate clunker I had to get and, without prompting, Deon asked if I'd like to see it as it was still up. He walked me out in a safe manner and spent some time pointing things out underneath my car. I was extremely impressed by that level of customer care.I've had three very different vehicles under their sharp eyes: my compact that finally died, a few years with the above clunker sedan, and my lovely SUV that passed Huron's pre purchase inspection with flying colors. I trust Huron so much that their inspection could have ended that sale right in their waiting area.Give Huron West a try. I paid to get my headlights restore and they actually look worse than they did before and there's actually sand marks very visible. If you're looking to get your headlights restored look elsewhere this place doesn't know how to do it
