I recently had my vehicle's transmission changed by them, and I am extremely satisfied with their service. Their transmission change service was exceptional, providing a seamless and efficient replacement of the transmission. The technicians were highly skilled, knowledgeable, and used top-quality parts for the replacement.

Called on a Friday night asking to set an appointment for the next morning about a transmission issue and was immediately scheduled for 9am on a Saturday. Very polite, takes the car in and takes a look. Doesn t try to embellish or exaggerate, just easily explains our problem and possible solutions. Great customer service, would recommend to any needing auto repair.Service: Transmission

Went to get my clutch replaced and oil changed. Original estimate was $700, they then proceeded to take 2 weeks, broke my window, didn't replace my oil, and then charged me $1,600. An OEM for my car is $250 and they charged me almost $400 just for the clutch, they also charged me for 10 HOURS of labor. To replace a clutch, this is a 4 hour job MAX. These people will absolutely scam you and lie through their teeth to do so. NEVER come here for car repairs.

We have had our car repaired at El Mechanico for different problems and it was always fixed well and at a reasonable price! I would recommend this shop for the honesty as well!This is 2022 and we had repairs done with this shop. The owner went over and above by towing our car and diagnostic of the check engine light. He called with an estimate and fixed the issue. I recommended this shop to my friends as well.

Excellent!! The work was good... The prices are totally legit and reasonable. (My Opinion) And the customer service was superb. Will definitely go bacc. In fact, I am on Friday. S/O to Valentine.

Worst service ever, he gave me a quote of about $235.00 to fix a widow and wiper problem, I specifically asked that if there were any additional cost to first to contact me for approval, not only I wasn't advised, but he charged me for a "new" switch, that was 100% working, and labour costs to "click" in the "new" switch, and the problem wasn't solved, when I confronted him, he was rude and impatient asking me to return the car the next day to find out that the actual problem was the wiring, when i asked about the costs, he was rude and disrespectful saying are you telling me how to do my work? And repeatedabout 6 times, take ur car, take ur car etc... Ended up paying $60.00 more for nothing... I guess that's what you pay when you use a "cheap" macanic with bad reviews... I was even charged about $24.00 for labour and service tax...wiper was fixed.Don't make the same mistake I did.

He told me out and out lies about the work that needed to be done, and gave me a ridiculously high estimate. I think he thought I was just a dumb woman that would believe what ever he said. Stay away from this place!

Brought my truck in to fix my oil pressure and fuel gauge..they had my truck for almost 2 days with them never calling me and letting me whats going on...charged me a lot of money to end up not knowing what the problem was but since they worked on it they had to charge me labor..i would never recommend this place to my worst enemy..please for your own sake go somewhere else to get your vehicle fixed!
