This Grafton location is unbelievably professional. They really know vehicles and follow a strict protocol. They also exemplify what a great team looks like. They treat each other with tremendous respect. I was impressed with the comraderie I witnessed. Valvoline is obviously doing something very well because their caliber of personnel is impressive. They OWN my business because this is hard to emulate no matter what service I am referring to. Congratulations.

This was my second visit to the Grafton location. I rarely write reviews but have to share how much I appreciated their professionalism. I was impressed by the knowledge of the team, how they worked together and their adherence to the obvious protocols and safety standards. They were polite, all dressed in proper uniforms, even said have a great day ma'am and thanked me. It felt like I was transported back to the time of full service gas stations.Thank you for having and holding a high level of service. A couple days ago I got an oil change expected a long wait however I was brought in fast! Austin, Evan and Dylan with the others are very professional! Will absolutely be taking my car back here for future business as I been to other locations but this has been the best.

Very fast, nice guys, and I didn't have to do much. But when did an oil change become $100, even with synthetic oil. Thank heavens you can usually find a $10 coupon on their website.

I've never been to this location but after calling to confirm they could handle a transmission fluid change on my vehicle I stopped in to get that service performed. As an ASE master tech for over 18 years, I could do some services myself, but not having a garage and then dealing with disposal of the fluids, sometimes it's just easier to let someone else do it than try to save some money by doing it myself. That being said, being an automotive technician for so long, it's easy to tell when someone knows what they are doing or doesn't. The employees at this location were very professional, explained to me how the service was done, and when finished, let me know they had a coupon I was unaware of. As a mechanic myself, I'd recommend this location based on my most recent visit.

Over tighted oil drain plug and split the gasket on it causing a oil spill all over the garage. They made it right by replacing the oil and gave some driveway cleaner, but still. When you do the same task over and over you wouldn't expect this to happen.. As with most of these places they try and up sell you on everything it's annoying and you could easily be taken advantage of. Like trying to get a transmission flush on a car only a few years old low with low miles. Also they wanted to sell me a few hundred dollar service to "clean the injectors" and promised Improved preformace. For laughs I popped out an injector to see how dirty they were, and I could have eaten off it, that's how clean they were already. Do your homework, don't accept any services you arnt sure on no matter what they may say, take it to a real shop if you have issues. And word to the wise, transmission flushes at these type of shops are generally universally condemned by real professional mechanics as they can make things worse. Hope that helps someone!

I usually go see my favorite guys at the Glendale location however today I was closer to Grafton. Same 5 star experience. The crew was knowledgeable and even helped me save money. I highly recommend this location. Thank you.

We ve been here twice since it recently opened to get our oil changed and transmission work done. The staff is AMAZING! They are very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and they provided excellent service in a timely manner. Dylan and Nicholas are especially wonderful! They were happy and determined to work on our car even though we visited late in the day towards closing. They didn t let the fact that we have a car that can be difficult to get to the transmission deter them from their mission. Dylan even seemed EXCITED for the challenge! We left feeling confident in their work and very happy with our interaction with the guys. We will continue to get our work done at this location especially if we always get such excellent service. They are definitely an asset to your company!Services: Transmission, Oil change

Just wanted to share my VERY positive experience at the Valvoline Grafton shop! Needed a same-day/express conventional oil change so I could avoid making an appointment somewhere and doing drop-off/pickup Called ahead to check prices and was quoted $51.99 for regular oil change, which might have been a deal-breaker but they offered me a $15 OFF coupon - nice!Phone rep said wait times were around 20 minutes but when I pulled in moments later, there was NO wait at all, they waved me right in.Emilio was my primary tech and he was cool, calm, professional and friendly. They had a very efficient process to quickly do the multipoint inspection, change the oil, check tire and oil pressure. Emilio had 2-3 other techs helping him - didn't get all their names but everyone was quick, professional and very nice They all seemed to work well together as a team, too, with respect and proper communication, which I appreciated.I usually pass on any upselling or added services but in this case, I had a cabin air filter that possibly has NEVER been replaced so did that, too. The clips holding the glove compartment in place were stuck and Emilio and his coworker were very careful not to force anything and possibly damage it - after several minutes, they finally got it loose. I was impressed with their patience and care in handling the parts. Cabin air filter + install was $39.99 after they applied another coupon for 20% OFF.Before Covid I would often get oil changes at the dealer and pay much less but now with inflation, they rarely offer those service specials. Other auto shops charge roughly $35-45 for an oil change so I felt Valvoline's pricing was competitive, with added bonus of express service.I have read negative reviews of oil change shops but just wanted to put a good word in for the guys in Grafton Keep up the good work!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

Had an oil change and a couple other items done and the crew did a good job but unfortunately when I ask for a paper copy of work done they said I had to give my email for that. I didn t want to give email and the worker basically got a little aggressive and said We need either your email or phone number ! Sorry I feel this is bad business practices as they are not an online company so they have the ability to buy a printer and print a detailed receipt for the customers that don t want to share their email.....

Worst place u can bring your car!! Be awareI did oil change + tire rotation and after 1 day the tire flew off in the middle of driving, im glad I didn t hit no-one and only my car was damaged, after i call to the store of course they didn't take reasonably about the case and offer me only %50 off the next oil change when my damge on the car was $850.You can t trust those people that they hire. Oil change was fine but the wait was long because they didn't control which services use which bay. Both lines had someone getting a tire rotation so it took well over an hour to get an oil change even though the line was short. Also, their parking lot does not accommodate exiting because of the long wait. If you're going to bail out, you better do it before another person arrives behind you.

This place is extremely expensive. I paid $146.22 with a coupon for a full synthetic oil change ($115.97) and a tire rotation ($29.99). This was $31.00 more than at the Jeep dealer up the road and $25.00 more than at an instant oil change competitor in downtown Chicago.At the Jeep dealer I was able to make an appointment (at Valvoline there was a wait) and get all the same services and more (premium synthetic, tire rotation, fluid checks, preventative maintenance checks, plus a software check and upgrade). The employees were friendly and appeared competent, but the upselling was frustrating given the price. The comments about not earning a commission sandwiched between comments about "voiding your warranty" if you use anything other than the recommended synthetic oil just made it worse. I should have pulled right out of the garage, the second I was quoted $115.97 just for the oil change.Services: Tires, Oil change

These guys are AMAZING!! I don't live in the area, but travel there several times a month. It is now my preferred place for oil changes!! A BIG thank you to Dillon on the advice to stop rust!! Seriously I have never been treated this well & had such knowledgeable employees at a drive thru oil change business. Thank you to everyone working 9-4-2022.

Terrible. Needed an oil change and they kept trying to up sell me stuff talking about my air filters and battery. Everything! Took way too long. Told them multiple times all I want is an oil change. Then maybe an hour after I left bottom of my radiator starts leaking fluid bad. Now I'm broke down car is overheated in the middle of Chicago. DO NOT GO HERE

My wife called the number listed on Google Maps and on their website to confirm availability for emissions testing. They said yes, so she went there to get the test done. When she got there, they said they weren t doing the tests at that time (it was 5:30, and my wife had called and received confirmation that they were doing them at 5:10), then proceeded to tell her that she must not have talked to someone at their store (despite her having called their phone number). I know that the broader emissions testing program is a mess, but that s not an excuse for the poor communication and customer engagement.

Their advertised hours for Sunday are 9:00am to 4:00pm. I had to get my emissions test done and th y advertise this service. I stopped by at 3:10, there was a car in each bay and one other car waiting for the other bay. Guy came out and I told him what I needed, he said no problem and went to tell them why I was there. He came out a minute later and said that they don't do testing after 3pm, no apologies, no explanation. It's a 7 minute test. No where on the site does it state that there are special hours fo different services. Well I get that I wasn't spending $ on an oil change today, this is where we get our oil changed, or was. I will find somewhere else to get our test done and our oil changed.

Directed right into the bay, the crew chief welcomed me and presented a menu of options, and the team hopped over and started - oil change, tire rotation, air filter and cabin air filter. It was a matter of minutes, and I was out and on the gas. These guys would compete well in the NASCAR Cup Series. 5/5 on the job, 5/5 on time, 5/5 customer service. Not so great. Had to advise the tech that he would actually have to remove a clamp to get filter box open as he was trying to pry it open. Also advertised tire rotation but could not lift my medi duty truck. Also informed me no grease fittings on the drivetrain. There are several, I did it myself when I got home
