Stevens Garage is Excellent. We had our transmission fail in Oklahoma on our way home to Winona. The garage there replaced our transmission and the attaching cable. On the way home, the transmission failed again 800 miles into the trip home. The garage in Oklahoma blamed their transmission guy, had us pay shipping and wait a month then sent us back our rebuilt rebuilt transmission; which failed as we pulled into Winona.We were not feeling great when we met Dan but after talking with him, our fears and frustrations started dwindling. He knew his work, he is a master transmission mechanic. We didn't wait for weeks wondering what was going on. He called us and had the work done in a few days- with a reasonable price. He found the actual problem: the cable the first garage had installed was not the right cable. He replaced it and rebuilt the transmission again. He gave us options each step of the way and was just excellent. If you are considering who to put your transmission in the hands of: this is the right choice. I just wish there was a Dan Stevens in every state I drive to.
