I normally have nothing but anxiety and bad feelings when I'm at a mechanic place. Have been burnt so many times. But at Fonddulac tire just going in and talking with Joe and his wife they make you feel safe and like family. He don't sugar coat crap and doesn't try to rip you off like most places do. Very kind ,very thorough and thoughtful. He actually takes time and explains things well and doesn't leave you wondering and doesn't mislead you. And not to mention they have the coolest dog ever behind the counter. I love this place.

Teri and Joe run an excellent business. They provided a fair estimate to service my vehicle's front brake system. They did it on a short notice and my vehicle's brakes are performing great.I definitely recommend them. As a matter of fact, I have scheduled my son's vehicle for service with them next week.Service: Brakes

Anytime I have car problems , I bring my truck to JOE ! He is awesome and trustworthy!!! His prices are fair & I recommend his shop to family and friends as well! Always gets the job done in a timely manner and has never let me down! If it weren t for Joe & his team , I d probably be on the side of the road! Very personal shop and makes you feel like family ! Joe saved my life today. My tire was leaking and he got it plugged up within a few minutes. Total life saver. Thank you sooooo Much. Reasonably priced. I will definitely be back for service.

Save your time and money, go somewhere else. They gave me a quote, then said they d start working on my car. Took 5 days, until I kept calling and then said they haven t even started yet and it won t be until the next week. They quoted me $1700, asked another mechanic who was able to do it for $600 including parts. Then, they were very rude when I picked up the vehicle, receptionist was never any help. When I finally picked up the vehicle, they charged me 100$ just for the quote. The other mechanic did everything the next day.

Completely ruined my car. I took it in to get a muffler fixed and now my car struggles to start multiple times a week, even had to start it at the shop and haven't had any issues before.

I purchased a new truck and rims and was looking for someone to move the factory tires and TPMS to the new rims and balance. Based on positive reviews and family recommendations I contacted FDL Tire & Service. I expressed my concern about scratching both sets of rims during the process, as everything is brand new, and they assured me they would take great care and not to worry.I am happy to report that they did a fantastic and there is not a scratch on either set. They addressed my concerns and I felt I was treated fairly and honestly at a reasonable price. I highly recommend FDL Tire & Service to anyone looking for auto service or repairs. I arrived into the area with a flat tire and spare was on already. Called before coming over and they did not have my size tire. Joe said he'd call around and see if he could find a used tire for us. When I arrived he had called all sorts of places with no luck. They were able to overnight a tire buy in the mean time I had to stay in a hotel, Terri walked me through many hotels gave directions and reviews of restaurants. The place was typical shop but staff was above friendly and supportive. Tire came in the morning and the fit me in to the schedule right away! Everyone there are beyond professional. They actually take the time with you, one on one, and answer all your questions. I needed 2 tires on the front of my car and the head mechanic called around and found 2 Firestone tires, practically bland new and I walked out after the job was done, paying only a little over $190. That's the price of almost brand new tires, mounting, rotating, balancing and labor.They are now my new place to go with ANY car issues I may have in the future.

I love their greeter , I found them to be fair, friendly and trustworthy. They were recommended by friends Sue and Scott Dreger and honestly I should ve gone there when first recommend, oh well I m with them from here on out, that s all that matters. I d highly recommend their shop.

This just has to be the best place in Fond Du Lac for car repairs. From the minute that I arrived to the second that I left they couldn't be anymore helpful. They treat their customers like their own. Fantastic all round service. Managers Joe & Terri are amazing. Went in for a tire replacement & I could not be more happier with the price & service. This has a great hometown "mom and pop" store atmosphere with great owners who really care about their clients. Joe was very knowledgeable and explained things in a way I can understand. He gave me options instead of just guessing and charging me lots of money. I will continue to use this business for all of my future auto needs.

The owner is amazing. Will go out of his way to make you feel welcome as a customer! He has been doing work on my vehicle now for a few years! Hands down the best! He has saved me so much money and its wonderful walking in there knowing im going to get great service and never be pulled around like other places! Joe and his staff are always very knowledge, friendly, responsive in getting the job done in a timely manner for a reasonable price. We have gone to them for our car and truck maintenance for over 20 years. We would not go anywhere else. They are awesome!

Joe and his workers are great people. They are friendly, honest, and professional. Whenever we have an issue with our vehicle, we can take it in there with confidence knowing it will get done right and on time. Whenever he would come across other issues he would let us know what it was and not be pushy. They have ALWAYS taken good care of us especially when it was last minute. They are a blessing!!!

Traveling for business and had a flat tire issue. The team, especially Joe and the wonderful lady managing the front desk (didn't catch her name), were great to work with and went out of their way to turn a really bad day around. I highly recommend this establishment and would never use anyone else if I were local to the area. Thanks for all your help and best wishes in the future!

Derick was extremely helpful and diligent on the phone. I called on a Thursdayand dropped off my car and was told my car might not be able to get looked at until the next week Monday. I received a call the next day, Friday, telling me what was wrong with my car! Mind you this was before Father s Day weekend. I came back the following week to pick up my car, and was greeted by the mechanic Joe, who is a wonderful gentleman. He gave me an honest car analysis and told me not to worry about a service fee because it didn t take enough time to truly charge for! I insisted on paying, was told do not worry about it and received a recommendation of what to do with my car going forward! The superb display of customer service was astounding. This is a great business, and I highly recommend using them for any car troubles! A big thumbs up, 5 stars from me! Thank you guys

We got a flat tire right outside of Fond Du Lac on our way up north. I called Fond du Lac Tire and Service asking if they would be able to do a tire repair (we picked up a nail) so we could continue our trip. The service was great, staff super friendly/helpful, and we were able to drive away with a repaired tire 20 minutes later. Thank you!!!Service: Tires

It was my first time coming here upon the suggestion of a friend. They were very friendly and polite. They repaired my car looking for the least expensive parts and ended up doing it for a lower price than I expected and were very professional. Hands down the absolute best mechanics and auto repair place in town. Extremely friendly and honest and very fast service. Multiple times I've had work done there or tires put on and it's $100s less than other estimates. I won't even consider going anywhere else.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Fond du Lac Tire & Service. I came here for a simple oil change. I did not expect to walk in and be treated like family. Joe is like the dad everyone should have. Especially being from Indiana and not having much family here it s so nice to have someone you can trust with your car. Not only did they get me in that day, but also replaced a lug nut for me for free and popped in my bumper for me. Not to mention, Joe is one of the most personable people. Even though I m from Milwaukee, I will 100% be traveling here from now on for all of my car maintenance!!

My family was looking to purchase a used vehicle from a local dealership and we wanted an independent mechanic to inspect the vehicle before moving forward with the purchase. Coming from out of town, we relied on the reviews and comments left by previous customers and chose FDL Tire and Service. We couldn't be happier with our decision! Joe invested considerable time looking over the vehicle and in explaining his findings with me. There were only a couple of issues that needed repair (which the dealer agreed to address before our purchase) but the peace of mind that Joe and his team provided our family was priceless. We informed the dealer that we took the car to FDL Tire and the manager there said "Joe is extremely thorough. If there's anything wrong with the car, he'll find it." If you have car problems, go to FDL Tire. If you're looking for a job where your boss will treat you right, go to FDL Tire.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Could not recommend them more. Joe and his team at Fond Du Lac Tire took a bad situation and turned it around. Our car broke down right off the highway in Fond Du Lac. I looked for a reputable mechanic via google/yelp and found great reviews of Joe and his team. They recommended a tow company and we had the car towed there. We live 2 hours from Fond Du Lac in Illinois. They found the problem with the car and fixed it in a timely manner. We had to come pick the car up after hours due to the long distance. When we got to his garage the car would not start and was blowing exhaust awful. We had to drive home without a car. I left them a message on their voice mail since it was late. Barb called me back the next morning and apologized and said they would look at it as soon as they could and call me back. It ended up that the new part malfunctioned. They also found another issue with the car. They fixed both issues and I received a call from Joe who also apologized. He said he was sorry for the inconvenience and he was going to not charge us for the $ 380 additional issue he found on the car due to our commute and having to drive it twice. Since I bought the car from my mechanic at home, I called to let him know what was going on and he confirmed that the work Joe did to make up for our inconvenience was indeed about $ 400. Joe also left us a very nice note in the car saying he was sorry again. He could have easily charged us for the second repair as it was needed, but he didn't and he acted in an extremely gracious manner. This is a place you can trust to do the right thing and we truly appreciated it especially since we will never need their service again (I hope!)

I was charged 100$ dollars just to put the check engine scanner in and tell me what the codes mean absolutely believed I was scammed didn t get no service not even air in my tire thumbs down highly do not recommend I ask why was it so expensive for that I could just went to auto zone got code for free I was told people from like Chicago and Milwaukee high minority places like to get quotes and go back to fix them have nothing to do with me profiling me as a black male is not ok I have nothing to do with Chicago or Milwaukee I was just profiled for attempting to do so didn t get service because he said 4 codes came up and it will be about 4000 to correct all codes joe I believe
