They did an amazing job fixing my older Polaris snowmobile. Would highly recommend. A lot of other shops wouldn't work on it because they said they only work on newer snowmobiles.

I needed a snowblower. Never bought one before so I had no clue. Trevor was so helpful and patient explaining and suggested a few that he felt would be good for what I needed. Very helpful and not pushy. Highly recommend

Steve is the most knowledgeable and helpful person I have ever met. They will treat you like family and rest assured they will get your projects running.

I took my mower in to get is tuned up in May. In August, the mower would not start. I took it back to Dave's and they got it going that same day (I was told the premium fuel I put in from the BP on Fond du Lac Ave. was very low octane). I went back to pick it up the next morning. They were not open yet, but the guys got my mower for me and got me out the door fifteen minutes before they opened. Much appreciated. Dan

Too many bad experiences to count. Rude staff, long turn around times, and twice my stuff wasn't repaired correctly. Go to the other shop in town. Better service all around. This guy cares as much about his building as he does your equipment. In other words not much.

I love going into this shop. Everyone there is always super friendly to me and my dad. They are the only shop I trust, been going there for years. I would not take my motorcycle to anyone else. they always get my motorcycle out in record time and have never overcharged me for anything or ever done any work over what I've asked them to do unless they call me first.

Be expected to pay way more than they say. Get a printed quote as they said the cost would be $80 on the high end but it was $270, big difference for putting on tires.

The total best to take your outside equipment.. Very friendly and knowledgeable. If I could give them a 10 star, I soooo would..

I was driving along Scott st and had a tire go down. I pulled into the bp. The bp next door didn't have air to fill up. I got my car down to Dave's I was greeted instantly and Dave asked what was wrong. I explained the situation and he went inside and got a car jack to help me out and we couldn't get one of the lugs off due to anti theft lugs. Dave was awesome enough to find a patch repair kit for my tire and patched it and filled up my tire for a small fee and got me back on the road. Thanks so much Dave you are awesome and helped me in a bad situation and made it so much less stressful. Definitely 5 out of 5 stars

Not helpful at all. The gentlemen there looked irritated and was very condescending. I was expecting a friendlier, more helpful atmosphere. That s the whole point of going to a small local shop, isn t it? Would much rather go to a large chain store for replacement parts than return here.

I went there on a suggestion from a friend. I needed an ice chain for cutting sturgeon holes. The chain that was on my saw never worked well. So I asked Steve to make me up a new chain. It cuts like butter, never knew what I was missing. I'm very happy with it.

Great little shop! They had the part I needed to complete my snowblower project. Knowledgeable staff who know their stuff! I love the selection of stihl chainsaws and equipment for most projects big and small! If your looking for a one stop repair place, or a new mower or saw they have what you need! A++

Dave sells and repairs various small engine items... lawn trimmers, mowers, scooters, and ATVs. I have no issues with their sales side... they are courteous, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. However, I drive a scooter to work... when it had a problem, I took it to Dave's. It was at the shop for over two weeks... after a week I called them, and they had not even looked at it yet. Another week later, when I got it back, I was relieved, and it worked great... until yesterday the kickstart bearing seized up on my way home in a metallic screech. It seems they did not re-grease it after cleaning the old grease off.So they are friendly and knowledgeable, but also disorganized and sloppy. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with 3 stars... perhaps they will fix it quickly and for free. They gave me good service up till now, and I won't let one horrible incident completely sour me.They have one last chance to keep my business. And this isn't a very good review... sorry everyone. I think they're fine for lawn equipment, but they just are not experienced at doing work quickly, so they do not have the turnaround time for me to ever recommend having your only vehicle repaired there.

Pulled in because I thought I had a staple in front motorcycle tire. They checked it out was just a flake of metal stuck to tire. Showed me what it was. No charge and I was on the road in about 10 minutes from when I pulled in. They could have ripped me off and said tire was damaged and charged all kinds of money. Instead honest. No charge but I will go back.

Do not under any circumstance do business with Dave's Engine Service. Made the mistake of taking my snowblower there to have a fuel leak repaired. Charged my $51.17 and did not repair the leak. Got it home started it up. Gas all over the place poring out. Called them. They now told me the leak is in the carburetor and wanted to charge me again with out giving me credit for the $51.17 I already paid to have it repaired! Stay away! Dave's is a rip off!

I took a snowblower part in yesterday for a last-minute repair. They were kind of busy, but they did my repair in about an hour, then one of the staff stayed past closing time so I could come in and pick it up. I really appreciate that.

Terrible customer service. It is the end of June, told a week and a half. Two weeks go bye no call nothing. I called twice they said another week. Lost my paper work. Take your business else where. Buy nothing from them.

Over priced does work that doesn't need to be done to inflate the bill. Doesn't call when going over estimate. I would go elsewhere.
