Brother had a car towed here a little over 2 weeks ago and the shop put hundreds of dollars in parts into the coolant system just to tell him the engine had a crack in it and he would have to scrap the vehicle. Figured with a basic inspection/pressure test the shop would of been able to determine there was a leak in the block PRIOR to doing any work. Instead of properly inspecting the vehicle this shop decided to replace the whole coolant system then tell him the car was junk. Very unprofessional and still made him pay for parts. Would not reccomend taking your vehicle here ever.

Came for an oil change on my 2014 Kia. Fast and friendly service with very affordable oil changes in which they also test your battery. I used to change my oil myself but it is cheaper to come here. Thank you!!

Car-x was amazing! I called in the morning to see if they had time to patch a tire (if it was even salvageable) and he said to come in. I get there and Mike was phenomenal. Another customer came in so he grabbed Wade who was going to fix my tire to go take a look. Showed him the problem and he took it around back to fix it. I had a couple phone calls to make and by the time I was done, so was Wade with my fixed tire! This is by far the best customer experience I have had in a very long time. I didn't enter the store with a smile on my face. But Mike and Wade made sure I left with one!They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

Brought car here for a quote and they couldn't help with the repair. They said the rear main seal was out and thats not even what was wrong with it. Also one of their employees stole airpods out of my wife's vehicle. Would give 0 stars if I could horrible place to bring a vehicle.

Great guys always willl take care of you had bad experiences at other shops but all the shop guys nice. Calm and very informative about my car and prices were very good too overall very thankful most shops don t care of you like they took care of me

Came I. From AZ for Christmas with family. Needed service. Called , made appointment repairs completed in one day. Wish we had this type of service and quality at home. Highly professional, great customer service, serious about your car. I can only rate 5 stars however I give them 10 stars. Excellent and Reasonably Priced

I got this screw lodged in my tire. I called Mike and he asked me to bring the tire over to be looked at. When I got there he said it would take 45-50 minutes to be fixed. When I told him that I will be picking up my son from school, he got Brian to work on it right away. Within 25 minutes Brian got the work done and I was on my way to pick up my son on time.Thank you Mike, Brian, and the other young man. You guys were very courteous and displayed a very high level of professionalism.That was my second time at CarX, and I plan on going there again.

Brought car to Walmart to have tires replaced. Had no brake issues prior. When they were *done* replacing the tires, they came out and said that they couldn't torque them because we had a brake line leak.No signs of a leak before the tires were put on. After the Walmart tech assured us car was driveable and it was a "small leak", went to head home. Pulling out of Walmart the brake went straight to the floor. Immediately pulled across the street to Car X where they were extremely helpful and even allowed us in the back to demonstrate that Walmart had, in their professional opinion, put the lift on the wrong section of the car and damaged the frame, blowing out the brake lines.Manager was incredibly helpful and even offered to do a statement for us. We are currently fighting a claim with Walmart and will see what happens. Wasn't able to get the repair done due to cost, but will go here for all of my needs from now on.Thank you Mike!Photos are where the damage was done by Walmart. While driving on the highway, my tire nearly fell off. I called Car X, and Manager Alex was fabulous. He focused on keeping me safe and offered to stay on the phone with me while I drove to their shop. He was waiting when I got there, looked at the tire immediately, and told me what I needed to do to get back on the road. Service was super. I feel fortunate that Car-X was the garage I called.

3 stars for the staff being nice and welcoming. Scheduled an alignment for my BMW and they were a week out. After driving the car to the shop I was told they cannot perform the alignment due to a specific BMW procedure (understandable). But I would rather have been told from the start they cannot help me than be without a vehicle for a week.

My mother heard a noise that was getting worse.another service department had a appointment in 2 weeks.we called Mike and got the car looked at in a few days.we found out her car tire was about to fall off. He was great and so kind.thank you again for saving my 88 year old mother!!

Absolutely disappointed with this company. Arrived 20 minutes before close to pick up my car and to my surprise, the employees went home early. Drove back the next day and I got another surprise. They some how lost the car emblem on one of my wheels. Terribly unprofessional business.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Appreciating their honesty! Engine light came on. Got some initial repair codes from an auto store. Fixed what I could. Light back on and was referred to Car-X, FDL. Car-X got me in quick, did some diagnostics and testing. Figured a big bill was coming. Best part, they told me nothing was in need of repair beyond what I did! Fast oil change and tire rotation less then 30 min did all extra checks and filled up washer fluid and told all the tire depths and how much of breaks still left and battrie check too always a great experience!

I had a 4 wheel alignment done in my car. Now I m very knowledgeable. A.S.E. Master certification. Was an instructor for automotive repair. In fact I managed car-x in the Milwaukee area for 7 years. So when I say I paid for a service I never received is not an Exaggeration. My rear toe was never touched. Calve caster is not adjustable. So doing an alignment on my vehicle is super easy and the parts were all new so no straining to bust anything lose but yet the technician didn t bother. He adjusted the front toe which maybe required only a couple turns. To the untrained person they would never know. If they did that to my or should say didn t do that to my vehicle how many customers paid for a 4 wheel alignment and never received the service. Car-x is a rip off. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle somewhere else. When I called about it the manager was short and never returned the call like he stated. Todd A is a friend of my and so happens to be the district manager for car-x and I will be talking to him. I believe everyone working that day and the manager should get fired. That s theft no matter what way you look at it.

I had water leaking inside of my car from my AC. I called Car-X and the man on the phone was pleasant, professional and got me in right away the next day. They took my car back right away and had it fixed in under 10 minutes. The guy explained to me what the issue was and how he fixed it. In and out!! Granted it was an easy fix, I saved time and money by going here instead of the dealership. I also get my oil changed here as well. Highly recommend this place in fond du lacOnce again I was shown great and fast service in getting new tires. The manager and staff seem to really go above and beyond expectations. Thanks again for being so helpful!

This just has to be the best place in Fond Du Lac for car repairs. From the minute that I arrived to the second that I left they couldn't be anymore helpful. They treat their customers like their own. Fantastic all round service. Managers Andrew and Michael were amazing. I went in expecting terrible service but came out amazed. I had my break pads replaced on my 2013 Chrysler 200 & I fully recommend that whoever reads this post go there for repairs. With oil changes at $19.99 this place is beyond fair when it comes to prices. Can't praise this place enough. Well done guys and keep up the good work.

I needed a steering wheel vibration at 50 plus miles an hour investigated..It took 9 days to get the appointment.They said the technician test drove it before and after..I waited 3 hours with my daughter and was told it was alignment at .4� which would not affect anything.They broke my exhaust while putting it up on their lift.If they drove it before and after then they know they did it and this proves to me that they are a dishonest company.I could find a cheap oil change somewhere else, I would not recommend this business.

Beyond pleased with both of my experiences at this location. Michael, the store manager took great care of me on each of my visits to patch my tires from a nail puncturing. Even though I came in for one thing, the techs were very informative about other potential issues with my vehicle. Very fair pricing, and wait time. The addition of the comfy leather couch and chair make the wait that much more comfortable. Highly recommend getting service done here.

On my way to work I realized I had a headlight out. I called Car X to see if they could put a new one in for me without an appointment. They said yes and that I should just come in after work. I picked up a new bulb and headed there and the replacement was done super quik. They always provide excellent service with reasonable prices.

My husband called and asked for a quote on tires. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable, as we are on a budget. They were accommodating to our schedule and asked politely if we would like an appointment. We did not feel pressured nor did we feel like we were being ripped off. We are back on the road running smoothly and will be bringing our car in for future work.Service: Tires

I ve been taking my car here for years and have worked with the likes of Anthony to Mike to Michael. All three have treated me like the most important customer of their day on every trip in. They are very fair and honest. I have never left the place with a bad experience, and it s been years of trips. Truly a relationship I am glad I ve been able to create and maintain. I highly recommend them to anyone near and far.

Great Customer service!! I came in for my appointment and they took my car back right away and the gentlemen up front was very nice and explained everything. I would definitely come back here and will be referring my family and friends to Car-X. They also installed 4 tires and balanced them with no problems. 10/10

Wanted to get my tires checked to make sure there was nothing wrong that I wasn't aware of. I recently had my car serviced at the dealership, so was a little concerned when I was alerted that my tire had low air pressure so soon. I am not very tire savvy, so took my car to Car X for peace of mind. I'm glad I did. They were super fast and very friendly! I was impressed. It was my first time there, and I will definitely return with any tire issues in the future! Thank you, Car x!

I was told I would get my refund in two weeks and that was in April! Here we are in July and still no refund for an over charge. Also my vehicle came out worse than it went in. When calling about the refund I was talked to disrespectfully. Filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Got respond from car x saying they wanted to make it right yet still no actions taken. My family has a credit card there and go there often but after this we have not and plan on canceling the credit card. I spent about $1500 in April and this is what I get an overcharge and a car that makes noise every time I break or back up!

The staff is amazing and very trustworthy. They have worked on my wife s car and mine a few times each since we have lived in Fond Du Lac for 2 years. I had an estimate done at another place in town and was quoted around $500 to $700 for the repairs needed. Took it to car x and they literally had it in the shop for 15 minutes max and fixed it for free with a screwdriver! When the other shop misled me to think it was a major transmission/lines problem. Also recently had an ECM problem I was not aware of and they very generously looked at it for hours to diagnose what was wrong and help me with info on how to fix it. They did not charge me for that either. Not saying they do all work for free. But when I have them do work it s done right and is very fairly and honestly priced. I would recommend the Car X in Fond Du Lac literally over any vehicle technicians I personally have ever went too! Thank you Mike, Andrew, Ethan and all the rest of the staff at Car X

We've been taking our cars to CarX for several years now. A change in management always makes me nervous but my most recent experience with Mike was great. He explained all the repairs thoroughly, answered all my questions and saved us money where he could. The techs were fantastic as well, staying after close to make sure the alignment was exact.
