Top-notch pizza!! Service was so friendly, offered me a seat while I looked at the menu and waited for my takeout order. You can tell the dough and sauce are all fresh and homemade. None of that greasy, flavorless pizza you get from the big chains. The pizza sauce just pops. Was very close to returning the next day just to buy one of the jars of sauce they sell. Missed opportunity on my part! We'll be back again!

Our first stop in Door County! We ordered the Door County Cherry Salad and the Margarita Pizza. It was so good! It's a very small space. We were there in the fall, so it was too cold to sit outside. We were lucky to get the last two seats inside. They have a parking lot or there's street parking. It's across the street from the Peninsula Park entrance. Highly recommend!

This was my second time at a Wild Tomato and my first time at this location. I personally think the pizza is overpriced and I definitely recommend the location in Sister's Bay over this one. That one is much bigger and a more fun atmosphere. This location would be nice during summer to sit outside, but I would still drive the 15 minutes more north to go to the other location.

My friend and I visited on an afternoon in September. We had been before and enjoyed our time. This visit was not as good. We waited for an extremely long time for our food - other tables came and went. We discovered that the table next to us actually received our customized pizza - which looked awesome. Their server tried to be very quiet about it when their correct pizza was served. Our server eventually came over (after being very attentive initially, we barely saw him) and just said sorry it s taking so long. We pointed out that we knew what the delay was but he didn t acknowledge it. Oh well. Accidents happen and we weren t in a hurry. When our pizza finally did arrive, it was a terrible sight clearly having been carelessly thrown together. Toppings clumped together, dough not fully cooked. Truly a hideous pizza not worth what they charge. We thought maybe a discount off our bill was warranted or they could have given us our appetizer on the house, but there as no attempt at service recovery. Definitely not worth the money.

stopped in while visiting Door County! What a hidden gem! The pizza was amazing! We sat outside, the weather was great! They do have inside seating, but seems like it would be hot in there! Our server was amazing! She was friendly and helpful as first timers! We went with the onion string appetizer served with the most delicious homemade ranch dressing! Now they have a bread basket appetizer that I would have loved to try but knew we would not have room for the pizza, however after seeing it go out we will be trying it next time and maybe share a salad instead! We went with the Green and Gold pizza and added caramelized onions to it OMG, I wish we lived closer! It was, by far, one of the best pizzas we ve ever had! Our server asked if we d like some Parmesan, we said sure and she brought us a cup of FRESH SHAVED Parmesan, um YES PLEASE!So, if you are visiting Door County take the time and try it out!!!Appetizer came out quick, pizza was actually pretty quick too! Prices are more than fair being in such a touristy area! Food was delicious and reheated well too!!Vegetarian options: There were lots of veggie options they gave onion strings, cheese curds, and a delicious wood fired bread basket in the appetizers, many vegetarian options with the create your own pizza!Kid-friendliness: Lord of room for kids to run at least outside anyway!

Consistently one of my favorite spots in Door County. Have visited this location at least 30 times and everytime is amazing. The service is awesome and food always comes out fast. I recommend the cheese curds, cherry walnut salad, and any pizza. The vibes are equally as good in the winter as well. There can be a long wait sometimes, but the bar is open to chill and get drinks while waiting for a table. Always worth the wait.

This Pizza is the best I ve ever had. Small but nice atmosphere with friendly employees. Now for the bad, and reasons for the one star review. For carry out they sneak in a Carry out fee for each item you buy!! Who does this when our economy is terrible. Then to add insult to injury they charge you for using a credit card. I think at $30 per pizza they would be able to absorb those extra fees to keep the customer happy.Update to my initial review. No where on their website does it mention a Carry Out Fee or credit card Surcharge Fee that to me are hidden charges that need to be posted before making a purchase.

Second time there this summer. Absolutely amazing!!! Best vegan pizza (with vegan cheese, otherwise I order pizza with no cheese) I ve had. It s worth the money. I love the fast service, ambiance and quality ingredients. The cherry walnut salad with cherry vinaigrette (no cheese) is delicious. My only complaint is no refills on the drink we ordered (Arnold Palmer). We ordered more than one so that s pricey for non-alcoholic drinks but it is what it is. Love this food and restaurant too much to go off about it.The highlight was having my pup with us on the dog friendly patio. it!!

The pizza is fantastic. Really enjoyed the mushroom and the Mexican chorizo. However DO NOT SIT INSIDE. FLIES FLIES FLIES! There were so many flies we basically fought a battle the entire time. There are not flies outside so I'm not sure what is causing this problem. When we brought it up with the waiter she got annoyed and said there are a lot of flies I get it. When our pizza came we had to cover it with napkins. I killed several flies and the waiter just grabbed them with her bare hands and continued to be very annoyed. We would sneak pieces out from under the napkins where 3 or 4 flies had landed on each pizza. It was fighting a battle the entire time. This is unacceptable at the highest level. There are ways to deal with flies most importantly is figuring out why you have them! Have a waiter with an annoyed derisive attitude when they are mentioned doesn't help either. Would have been a lovely meal outside. My uncle stated he will not be back. We left exhausted from fighting them off all meal.

Phenomenal pizza. I would highly recommend their Green and gold pizza. Wild tomato is always worth a stop if you're in the area or passing through. All the staff are amazing and it's a really cool building. I would recommend not going at a prime eating time thoigh as this wild tomato is a smaller building than their other location but regardless it is so it is worth waiting for a seat. Overall great spot.Parking: The parking is a little tight if it's busy but it's not the worst.

Took a day trip to door county and researched pizza places as my wife and I travel the U.S and hit every small town pizza place we can. First walking in we were greeted by the friendly wait staff and ordered drinks. First thing I noticed was the wood fire pizza oven roaring and ready to go. For appetizers we ordered the parmesan fry bread with marinara. The marinara sauce was dark red and fresh, the fry bread with the parmesan garlic was super good! We ended up with a large sausage and onion pizza which came out not too long after, I feel the pizza could have been cooked a little more but that could have been we got there right when they open at 11:00 and maybe the oven wasn't fully up to temperature yet. The sausage was spot on the onions were cooked just right the dough in my taste was a little undercooked but still had good bite and chew the only thing was the cheese and sauce was lacking a little flavor but still really good. If your in the area I would definitely give this place a try!

Delicious Wood Fire Pizza served in a fun and friendly atmosphere. Highly Recommended. On a scale of (1-5)Cleanliness: 5 (Nice Clean Restaurant)Service: 5 (Server was kind and attentive given the amount of patrons)Food: 4.5 (The PALOMA pizza was fresh and delicious. I would've preferred my dressing on the side as the Caesar Salad was over dressed.Value: 4 (Solid Value on the Pizza given the ingredients used. Slight knock on the Caesar Salad though it can feed two.)

From the moment we stopped, we were in love with this place!! The handbrake cheese curds were by far the best I've ever had! The breding was light and the cheese oozed out with every bite! The pizza was also amazing and so delicious!! We had a wonderful time!!

Awesome specialty pizzas. Great crust, crispy and chewy. Fresh, flavorful toppings. The small is about 12 and enough for two or a very hungry one. Don t sleep on the Solago pizza, the roast Mexican street corn, ancho chili crema base, poblano, tomato and chorizo. Finished with cotija cheese, cilantro & Tajin is a fantastic combination. You ll never look at a taco pizza the same. Super friendly service, full beer/cider menu and sizable patio with solid tables.Parking: Tight lot, 2 perimeter rows with room for about 20-25 cars

We ate here in early October, arriving at 6:15 p.m., and we still had a solid 35-minute wait. It was worth it. We ordered the Deluxe pizza which was very good. All of the ingredients were very fresh, and they didn't skimp on the tomato sauce. The crust was not crispy, but was nonetheless tasty. We'd for sure order pizza here again.

By far our favorite place for pizza when visiting Door County. While there is another location in Sister Bay, we prefer the Fish Creek location. Still on the main drag, if you park on the street you can leave your vehicle there and hit up some of the local shops. Great service, food comes out fast, and you aren t rushed out when you are done. The prices are a little higher then some of the establishments in larger cities, but you can t beat the freshness of the ingredients and the service.

Super cute atmosphere! Pleasantly surprised that the menu was accommodating of vegan diets. We built our own pizza and it was delicious! (While tasty, we did feel that there weren t enough mushrooms on the pizza to justify $3 extra for them, especially since the ingredients aren t organic but it was still good.)Service was attentive and they have a great drink menu!

My sister and I stopped on the way back from Washington Island. We sat in their nice outdoor seating area. Every month they offer a "Donation Creation" pizza that benefits a local nonprofit ($1 per pizza), which we chose: Chicken & Choke pizza (grilled chicken, artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach over an artichose dip base wtih special cheese blend), along with some cheese curds. It was busy, but the wait wasn't long. Good customer service. Cheese curds were served with ranch and excellent. Pizza was delicious and flavorful although it was lacking artichoke flavor. We'll definitely stop again next time we're in the area.

Will be back again. Went here after watching the sunset at Anderson Dock. The place was hopping with most tables full but we only had to wait <5 minutes for a clean table. Great outdoor seating for the cool summer night with dim lighting and good music. Cheese curds are hand battered and delicious, maybe some excess fried batter. Had the Green and Gold pizza which came out perfect! Was enough food to take home some leftovers for tomorrow.

Portion size was unexpected. Huge portions even with the petite salad. My guest had the gluten free crust which was not as crisp as it could have been. The pizza itself was delicious (Paloma).

Wonderful place to stop for some great pizza. The bread basket is delicious and a lot more filling than we realized. If you order the basket, a small sized pizza will be way more than enough to fill you up.I'm not sure if they take reservations, we decided to dine here as we drove through town. We waited about 25 minutes for a table which was not at all an issue with how busy it was.I'm not the biggest beer drinker but there did seem to be a pretty good selection of multiple types of beer if that's your thing.

Nice variety of beers from coast to coast breweries. These cheese curds are no joke! We ve tested hundreds of WI curds and these folks nail! (Yellow curds not white for the cheese curd critic) Tried the Piasano pizza and it was great sauce and toppings. This is worth the pizza stop!
