This is the perfect place to enjoy the fall colors in Door County. The location is spot on, you are in the center of town, and walking distance to all the town has to offer. The unit is decorated nicely, very clean, plenty of room, comfortable beds. Will definitely stay again! Breakfast isn't included, which personally I don't mind. However be aware the office isn't staffed 24 hours a day. If you are planning on arriving late, make sure to make accommodations.

Excellent location. Very pleasant staff.Room was very clean, decor was pretty dated zebra, leopard, cheetah, tiger printed rooster wallpaper was peeling tv was tiny and mattress could have been more comfortable. Beautiful courtyard garden flowers. Lots of parking. Everything in Door county seems pretty pricey for what it is and this was no exception.Would recommend for a place in town in walking distance to waterfront to watch the sunset, the harbour, restaurants, shops, parks, etc.

Convenient, quiet and all the old school qualities that enables one to enjoy this spot of Door County. But not too old fashion as there re is an EV charging station in the parking lot.Walkability: Must stay from walk from Sunset Beach at the end of Main Street to southeast toward places like White Gull, Welcker s Lounge and the Loft.

My daughter and I decided to visit Door County and visit local wineries for my birthday. This motel was recommended by a co-worker, and her high opinion of this establishment is well deserved. I had some questions prior to making the reservation, and while speaking with staff they were more than friendly. Check in went very smooth, and the desk clerk was pleasant, well-informed and charming. The room was incredibly clean and the decor was quite nice. The beds were pretty comfortable, and room accommodations were perfect for us. During our stay we had an unfortunate event, and I had to reach out to the owner (Debbie) very late Friday night. She was highly accommodating, compassionate and helpful. I have not stayed at any other establishments in Fish Creek, so I really have no comparison. In my opinion a 5/5 rating is not sufficient. I feel this motel is second to none. Make your reservations here, you won't regret it!(P.S. I wrote this review prior to check-out due to the impressive service provided by all.)Edit: The 'desk clerk' I mentioned is the owner! (I didn't realize because of masks.) Simply put; Debbie is a super person.Enjoy your stay!

Oh, my gosh! What a great little motel! Fair price, impeccably clean rooms, fabulous location, and the most personable front desk staff I've ever met.The rooms are over-the-top cute. (Perhaps not the decor I'd choose, but sweet and cheerful.) We appreciated having wifi, a microwave, and fridge. Coffee was included. We could walk to restaurants, shopping, and even Peninsula State Park.I'd stay at the Main Street Motel again in a heartbeat!

Main Street Motel surprised us as being an upscale motel on par with Hampton Inn, etc. in terms of cleanliness, decor and amenities. We are staying 2 nights and agreed to straighten the room without charge on the second morning. Each room has a 4 cup coffee maker with both decaf and regular refills, refrigerator and small microwave. Each room has electric baseboard heating and a new wall mounted quiet ac/heat heat pump providing excellent heating control.Water has good pressure and shower water heats up quickly. The provided TV is too small for the room and we were frustrated not having a movie channel like Netflix available to watch. Watching commercials on TV is my a pleasant experience.Adequate on site parking is available.

I really love staying here. I always stay here, with the exception of the last week because they were all booked up for the days I was in town. After a not so impressive stay at another hotel, I decided to finally leave a review for Main Street Motel. The rooms are a comfortable size, they're clean and always have an adequate number of towels, toiletries and things like tissues and toilet paper. I never have any issues with light coming in from outside so the rooms are nice and dark. I also love that they have different decor in each room. It's become a little game for my dad and I too see how many different rooms we can stay in. The rates are very reasonable as well. They have a ground floor and a first floor so if you have any issues with mobility, they can accommodate that. It's also a quick walk to popular places like White Gull Inn, Pelletier's, The Cookery, etc. Basically, if you want to stay in Fish Creek, this hotel is great!

This is the best kept secret in Door County. It's exceptionally clean, and each room is decorated in a different theme. They don't have a pool, so the clientele is most older adults who appreciate the quiet. It's room rate is on the lower end, but that's why they stay full for most of the season. Great place to stay, but make your reservations early.

My wife and I stayed in the Main Street Motel for two nights, and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were able to provide detailed recommendations about local restaurants and attractions. We'll definitely be repeat customers!

My family has been stay at the Main Street Motel every summer since before I was born. Nedra, the owner, and her family recognize their guests by name. The housekeeping staff are courteous and keep all the rooms in wonderful shape. Each room has a different theme and we love seeing which room we'll be in each summer. The motel is quiet and has a lovely garden area where many guests gather for cocktails in the afternoon. We love staying at the Main Street Motel!

Cleanest place I've ever stayed, and I have stayed there at least 10 times. Immaculate rooms, best location (within walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, beach, grocery store, and more). Lovely landscaping, outdoor chairs, tables and lounge chairs. In the middle of town and yet surprisingly quiet. Prices SO reasonable. A clear winner.

Great place to experience. Kind of like a throwback style motel only with modern comforts (less the microwave). Comfortable bed, spacious room, great shower. Our foom was decorated with a movie theater theme, excellent choice with an outdoor theater just down the road. Would easily stay here again.

We've been coming here annually for a few years and love it. Clean, casual atmosphere with friendly staff willing to stop and help anytime. It's right downtown so just park and walk to many local shops and restaurants. A few minutes drive to Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, and half hour to the tip of the peninsula to catch the ferry. Highly recommend this motel!

We were able to get a room for one night on Columbus Day weekend for Sunday night because of a cancellation. Lucky us, it was a beautiful weekend weather wise and I have to say the place was charming and clean. The owner was lovely and very informative of the area for us. I would go back to her place in a minute! Great outdoor area to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and within walking distance to everything including the park at the end of the road overlooking Lake Michigan...just a great spot that i will remember for years...thank you, Nedra!

Such a great place to stay. Staff very helpful and so nice. Each room is decorated differently so you never know what you'll get. Within walking distance to a lot of cute shops and some really great restaurants! Normal pricing for the area.

Can't beat the location. It's great to be able to walk to shops, restaurants, and the docks. The rooms are nothing special, but it was clean and we always had a parking spot.

Been coming here for years. Really like. Not quite as good as former owners ran it. House keeping walked in on us in the morning without knocking first. I didn't have the do not disturb sign on. But please knock first. Also wifi only worked 2of 3 days we were there. They said "it's working" but it wasn't. Just admit it was not working Don't insult my intelligence. I know when it's working and when it isn't. I will come to back though because we like the place. Clean and mostly quiet.
