Our family friend Kevin suggested we stay at this hotel. Glad we did. Our stay at Homestead Suites was fantastic! The rooms were very comfortable, and the staff was super friendly. Having a whirlpool in the room was a luxurious touch, and the indoor pool and fantastic hot tub added to the relaxation. The cute wet bar was a nice surprise, and the spacious room was great, though a table would have been handy. Overall, a very clean and enjoyable stay.

Fish Creek is our favorite place to stay in Door County. The hotel location is perfect; within walking distance to Peninsula State Park, restaurants, and dockside views. The staff are very courteous and take very good care of the hotel. There is no complimentary breakfast but we did not mind. They do have a coffee bar though. Rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy. Will definitely be returning here in the future

The desk lady fantastic casual conversation felt like I knew her forever.Told us about the area food shops etc. Rooms large enough comfortable so quite even with people in the lobby playing games kinda loud didn't hear them at all. The bathroom could be a little bigger trying to get into turn you know. And what the hell put night lights motion in the freaking bathrooms for middle of the night pees. Not just your motel all of themNearby activities: Restaurant great right next store for breakfast. The park is walking distance and the golf course.

Overall, this was a really nice place to stay. Our room was really clean. We had a refrigerator, microwave, and outdoor deck. The front desk was very helpful and accommodating. However, there wasn't enough parking for everyone. I found this ridiculous. One morning we came out to find people parked on the grass, and out on the road. I believe if you're paying for a room at today's rates, you should have a parking spot in the designated lot.Nearby activities: Close to shopping and restaurants.Safety: In a safe area, and felt safe within the hotel.Noteworthy details: There is no elevator in this hotel, so if you have mobility issues or any type of handicap you would want to stay on the first floor or stay somewhere else.

Had a nice stay at Homestead. The room was spacious , clean and comfortable. The pool area was nice. I was in an accessible room. The bar by the toilet was a bit high. Probably not within ADA guideline. There was a seat for the shower Not perfect but it worked. Staff, mainly Brenna, was very helpful and friendly with much knowledge about Door County.

The hotel is nice and clean. They offer coffee it's a nice little coffee bar. We love the pool and jacuzzi very nice and clean and loved the sauna. The room was very spacious and we love the fireplace and jacuzzi tub. Brenna was amazing and made us feel so welcomed after having a bad day. It was nice to see a smiling face and she is very kind. I definitely recommend and will let others know.

We stayed during the off-season, but the amenities were still top-tier. The indoor pool area was clean and warm, the room was clean and spacious (albeit with a little noticeable wear and tear). Disappointed there was no breakfast, but the coffee bar did make up for it for the most part. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider staying again!Rooms: The king spa bath room was spacious, equipped with a large smart TV and fireplace. Very clean and cute, there was some signs of wear and tear, but they were few and far between.Walkability: The hotel is on the main drag, right at the entrance of Peninsula State Park, and across the street from Wild Tomato. In the vicinity of many other shops and restaurants.

Friendly staff, nice clean room but the furniture were a mix bag of new and old in different styles. The shower had a nice water pressure and the rain shower option tops it all. I wished the air conditioner was not so loud!

We overall enjoyed our stay. Our only real issue is that we chose this hotel over a hotel with breakfast because they had a game room. The "game room" is just a small room with a claw machine & 2 arcade machines, one of which is out of order. They do, however, have a great coffee bar. Staff was friendly enough. Pool was nice. Would probably stay again.

We had an amazing weekend. Room was unique, spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. Bed was very comfortable in the Hawthorne suite, we had a pretty large hot tub with strong jets, roomy shower with 2 shower heads, and duel bench seats, towels were very clean and soft. Staff was very nice, helpful, and caring. Didn't use the pool but public hot tub was very warm with powerful jets. Was a few people in there on Saturday but Sunday was very quiet. They have a very nice coffee area and many selections of tea, regular coffee, hazelnut coffee and quite a few options of flavorings. I definitely recommend a family stay or romantic weekend like we had. Very calm and peaceful during our February stay.

Some of the hotel is a little outdated, but it was cozy and clean, staff was friendly and helpful, and the amenities are nice. Wont complain about no breakfast because that just gives you a chance to check out local businesses. This wasn't our first choice but is definitely on our radar for next time we are staying up here.Rooms: Very clean and cozyWalkability: Easily 10 min walk from the main dragFood & drinks: Coffee bar was greatNoteworthy details: The sauna was a nice plus

Overpriced for what it is.Mediocre rooms and not even a cookie served in the morning. Only coffee and milk are available...Over a thousand dollars for 4 nights! They have a bike storage area that is a good thing. Ok, location in Fish Creek ...

Room was clean and staff was very accommodating. Lovely pool and hot tub area.We were busy out and about, and only in our room to sleep and get ready. The decor was very country 2000 s and the bathroom was tiny.We loved the fireplace. We had a fridge, microwave and kitchen sink area in our room too.We will stay here again.

My suite with a kitchenette no longer comes with any plates, cups, mugs, or real utensils. The hotel no longer offers breakfast. Many fixtures (our deck, railings, shades) were not working or actively falling apart. The maintenance room was left completely open for my entire 4 day stay. Lots of exterior doors don't actually lock. Great location, but not worth a high price. Front desk was friendly and helpful.

Our family had such a wonderful time at Homestead Suites! Family run and so thoughtful! They even brought out goggles and noodles for our kids in the pool. So clean and beautiful! Really close to Peninsula State Park . We will be back! Dee Brestin

Have been coming for many years and every time the hotel seems to be declining more and more. A nice updated building on the outside and a great location, the inside is where it could use some help. The bath towels were very rough in texture and had a grey tint to them from years of use. The bedding and pillows were lumpy and very thin. The air conditioner was very loud and was randomly shutting off to make the room humid and gave it a weird smell, almost like feet. The furniture on the balconies could use a upgrade too. Overall great location, nice indoor/ outdoor pool, and very nice staff but it seems that an upgrade could be used especially for $200 for one night.

Very surprised with the high rating. This place is very old and dated. The rooms are spacious but also very dated. I understand they do not offer room service, however the staff makes it difficult to request towels. The staff did not answer phone upon request and would go to voicemail. I did not have an issue going to the front desk myself, however they also appeared quite put off that I requested extra towels. I can hear every step from the people above us, so noise is a definite issue for those who are distracted easily by running or heavy walking. Lastly, I won t go into details but the staff of both evening and day front desk women were the most unkind customer service oriented people I have ever experienced in my travels. It s a very sad place and I would not recommend. Maybe it s a fluke because I see the higher ratings...but I won t take another chance here.

My husband, myself, our two toddlers and baby, all had a great experience staying here! The room was fresh and clean. The staff is very friendly and very kind! We forgot our kiddos life jackets and one of the staff members borrowed their grandchildren's and even extra trip home to get them for us!!! The pool was clean and we will definitely be staying there in the future:-) A+

Had a very nice stay, staff was friendly and accommodating. The room is very clean and comfortable. Water in the room seemed to have a funny almost sweet taste, so I opted not to drink it. And was kind of confused about the choice to have carpeting right up to the edge of the hot tub. Other than that loved everything about my stay will return next time we need a little weekend getaway.

My family drove almost two hours and this didn t disappoint. The beds are soft, the pool is awesome, and the breakfast is amazing. A little crowded in public areas like the pool, but that goes to show how good it is. My only complaint is that in certain rooms, you have to go through the pool to get to the breakfast area. Great view from floor two. I love it!

Awesome place to stay! We stayed here in June with our one year old. It was clean, has continental breakfast which was great, a nice indoor and outdoor pool and whirlpool, and they had a pack and play for our kid. Great price for what you get. The staff was wonderful, plus the location is excellent! We rented bikes from the bike rental right on the edge of peninsula. It was a super short walk to get there. Highly recommend staying here!
