I stayed here two nights while working out of town. I had an excellent experience. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My room as well as the lobby were very clean and well maintained. The whole place smelled very nice, which is weird for me to say because I don't usually notice smells unless they are bad, but it smelled good. The location is right downtown within short walking distance of a few places to get a drink and some food. I will definitely stay here again while working in the area!

What a gem in the middle of a small town! The Fenway House is elegant and gorgeous, and at the same time downright homey. Our room was huge, well appointed and super clean. The breakfasts, while a bit modest, are enough to get you on your way. The staff is super friendly, and committed to what they are doing. Well worth staying there.

I was in town on business to entertain at the local Post Prom event, last night.A storm was coming through, so staying overnight was the best option.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was easily accessible on the 2nd floor and was one of the cleanest and most comfortable rooms I've stayed in in a very long time.I stay at a lot of hotels but this room felt more like a guest room in a home than a typical, generic hotel room. It had a real quality bed and breakfast feel.The bed was more comfortable and the accommodations seemed better than most I've slept on throughout the country at even 4 or 5 star hotels, making me wonder why this is only classified as a 2 Star. It exceeds that, in my opinion.The breakfast this morning far exceeded my expectations, as well. I don't know if the Sunday breakfast is always as plentiful but there were many things to choose from, so I did not leave on an empty stomach.Highly recommend!Rooms: Felt more like a home than a hotel.Food & drinks: Breakfast was very satisfying.

The Fenway House Hotel IS A MUST if you are traveling through Fennimore, WI. This family and faith hotel was an awesome experience for my family and I. While it was not a fancy putting on the ritz hotel, this place took us back into history as we enter the lobby. The Sunday Breakfast was literally the best that I ve had at any hotel we have stayed at for a long time! It was very nice buffet. Every aspect of this business has a very personal touch. From the sign in to the breakfast to checking out, everything was incredible!

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the historic Fenway House Hotel. It was an unplanned trip as my car broke down and I needed a place to stay for the night. The staff was friendly and professional and offered additional assistance to make my stay better. My room was clean, renovated with modern comforts, the bed was great for a good night sleep, and they had "grab and go" breakfast options as well. Plus the location is perfect for a walk down to any of their shops. I've admired the street view renovations for years as I've driven past the hotel on family trips and glad I finally had the chance to stay here, plus they even gave me a tour of the historic building and it's unique architecture. I'd definitely recommend it as a comfortable and friendly place to stay.

Supper friendly and very neat place for an old, historic building. An amazing place to see if you get the full tour from staff! Too bad it can t be more fully utilized and appreciated. The fact it has a very neat breakfast bar, unique chapel area, meeting rooms and more make it a must see if your in the area. Rooms are very spacious, clean, and well kept! Bed could be more comfortable, but overall it is well worth the trip there for a stay if your in the area!! Thanks!!

What a Gem, Beautiful "Old School" Hotel, it just feels more like a Bed and Breakfast. The people who are running this place are the hardest working people ever. Their Plates are quite full and they both wear many hat's. There isn't a single Hotel for miles that measures up to the entire package that is the Fenway House. No matter if your doing business or vacationing this is the place to stay, you will not be disappointed. For me after a stressful ordeal in the neighboring town of Boscobel, this place was a true gift from my Heavenly Father, I couldn't have felt more at home.

My Husband and I stayed overnight and had a wonderful time. From the hot tub in our room to the lovely decorations and the breakfast items, we had a lovely time. Although the place is old, it is wonderfully kept up and has some charming rooms and other places within the building to explore. Most impressive is the area used for church on Sunday mornings. We were welcomed and encouraged to participate with the beautiful music....all around a delightful experience. We will return and will encourage our friends and relatives to do the same

Recently stayed here to attend a family function nearby. Booked a two night stay in the bunk house with my family, to include a service dog certified through ADA. Was told the dog could not stay. The staff was friendly but sadly apparently uninformed on Federal Law requiring compliance with ADA s regulations for service dogs. Due to the lack of knowledge and uncomfortable situation created upon check in, the dog was placed with trusted family member. I left the hotel in the evening since the dog was unwelcome and our family simply showed up at night to sleep there rather than actually enjoying the stay.The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. There were damp rid bags hanging down the stairs. The bunk house has two private shower/sink areas, but the bathrooms are outside of the room where there is a hallway with a game room open to all guests. It s unfortunate there isn t a private restroom for those staying in the room.The breakfast was great and had something for everyone. The rooms appeared clean. Plenty of towels and toiletries provided.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Fenway house. We essentially used it as a place to crash after attending a wedding, but our stay was very comfortable none the less. We were not expecting the hotel to be as home-like as it was. The decorations were adorable, the makeup wipes and colored washcloths were extremely appreciated! (I forget to pack makeup wipes and hate ruining hotel towels with makeup.) The room had a mini fridge and small coffee maker with access to a pantry down the hall to get any drink we may want to make in it. Checking out was extremely simple, we just dropped off our keys in the basket and left. The only thing we think would make the experience better is to have a mattress topper on the bed to make it a little softer but we still had a great night's sleep! (We were not hung over from the wedding just in case anyone wonders.) We were very happy with our stay at Fenway house and will definitely look to use them in the future if we are back in Wisconsin. Great room, great price, and very home like. Thank you!

BEST PLACE EVER!!!! We stayed at this place for 3 days 2 nights! Staff was so welcoming and extremely friendly! Are rooms where very cosy! We left Sunday to go north when coming back down Monday night we called and booked us another room! She meet us there ans hooked us up with a upgrade in are room since we came back a second time in a week! The food was good on Sunday! They have a lovely little church there as well! Gave us a tour of the Whole building and all the history! We are planning to bring are kids here once they get older! 1000% would recommend to anyone!

Wonderful experience. Renee was charming and a delightful host. Clearly a historic hotel has historic charm. Expectations were set up front The jacuzzi worked well for watching the bucks. The AC and fridge were wonderful. The shower could have used better water pressure and the kiddie toilets were a little difficult for my 210 lb butt. The bed was good and the room was nice. We will visit again next time we are in Fennimore!

While not fancy, the Fenway House Hotel was immaculately kept, the rooms were comfortable and well-stocked with items to meet your needs, and quiet. The staff was very hospitable at check-in and extremely friendly. Check-in and check-out were fluid and fast. The Fenway House is a little hidden gem. We'll definitely be back when we travel through the area.

I remember back in 1997 A.D. when this place was called The Silent Woman Restaurant. I have not been there since then. I remember that back in 1997 A.D., my Family and I went to see the movie "Titanic" at the movie theater in Platteville and then not long after that we went to go eat at The Silent Woman Restaurant. I even remember that our waiter was a man named Travis back then. We had a Good Time there back then

I just wanted to say what a great weekend my friends and I had while we stayed at your hotel 7/25-7/26. It was a great lil find in a quaint area with a lot of things to do nearby. Your staff was amazing and welcoming . Your hotel is beautiful inside and out . It was clean and comfortable and was just perfect for us. You suprised my husband and I with a room upgrade upon checking in which was unexpected and yet very appreciated..I love there is a church inside as well. What a perfect addition to your hotel!!!!

The Fenway House was everything my fianc� and I wanted and more! Renee was extremely accommodating. She offered us some of the best coffee cake I ve ever had and gave us a neat little tour of the place! Our room was very classy and the whirlpool tub was extremely relaxing. It was a very pleasant stay and we can t wait to come back the next time we re in Fennimore!

Stayed here on July 15th 2016. This is a smaller older place but don't let that scare you. My room was clean and well kept. No funky orders, the air worked great and the bathroom was great. The TV in the room was an older tube style TV but after 500 miles on my motorcycle that day I was just looking for a nice place to spend the night and comfortable bed, that's what I got. For the price it was a nice place to spend the evening. I would stay there again.

My husband and I have stayed here before and really liked the place but with the new management we like it even more. The new managers were very friendly and the new little touches to make our stay even better did not go unnoticed. The grab and go breakfast was excellent and had much more than we expected! I would highly recommend this place! We will be back!

A wonderful hotel stay amidst a cute little town. The hotel has an ancient European look. Wide range of grab and go breakfast are also available here. Rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable. There is a church inside too.

Oh my goodness, first I love the whole entire atmosphere of the building it's an old 100 year plus old building that's been converted. The service is amazing. We had an issue and they all came up and helped us out and resolving that issue at night when they didn't need to do that. But they made us feel so incredibly cared for an important. I would definitely recommend this place.
