This was a great lodging option for my first visit to Door County. Ephraim is a cute sleepy town. I loved the private water overlook area with chairs. The rooms were good. We enjoyed the hot tub. There is no elevator that I am aware of so keep that in mind for accessibility purposes. Bring quarters and soap if you want to do laundry, though the front desk did have change and soap available to purpose!

Room was clean, updated. On ground level with walkout to greenspace overlooking the water. We LOVED that! The bathroom was clean and updated, but not handicap accessible--tub was high. This was a last minute stay, so was literally the only room available. In future, I'd request a handicap accessible for my parent. Would definitely stay again for the location and cleanliness!Walkability: Right in heart of Ephraim-- can walk to everything! Hotel has guest space across the street overlooking the water.Food & drinks: The restaraunt is on the 2nd level with no elevator. Not ideal if mobility is an issue.Food was delicious and well priced.

Great little place - very grateful we found it & will be back! Clean & kind- the two most important things. Very clean & well kept. A bit dated but we enjoyed it tbh & was very affordable. Wonderful location with lots of seating on the waterfront. Pool & hot tub with games, a treadmill & restaurant on site. Great location for other nice restaurants & wine bars. 7 min drive from Sister bay & the national park. We loved it here & will be back.

We got a suite and it was lovely with plenty of room and a private bedroom. I really liked having a private balcony as well. Many nice outdoor amenities such as a grill, outdoor gas firepit, and adirondack chairs around the firepit. Very close to restaurants and other great Door County small towns for shopping and eating and enjoying the lakes. Will stay here again in the future if we visit this area again.

We had a nice one night stay here. The rooms were clean. There wasn t an elevator so if you have a lot of luggage you have to carry it upstairs. We enjoyed the sunset across the street at their private sitting area. The sheets were soft. We would have liked a room with a view of the lake and not the back parking lot but it was only a one night stay so it was fine.

We were lucky to find an open room for a single night and the price was reasonable for the area so we took it. We have no complaint about the room other than that with it being an older building and all wood frame construction, when you get an inconsiderate guest above you like we had, one who walks heavily and seemed to be constantly pacing as late as midnight when we were trying to sleep, it makes for an unpleasant experience. We were constantly being woken up to the sound of thunderous footsteps that never seemed to stop. Also, the mattress seems quite cheap where when my wife would move or roll, the entire bed would shake and I would wake up. The room was clean and well maintained and otherwise quiet, and in a very convenient location, right across from the water. I would stay here again but perhaps on the 2nd floor or in the hopes that whoever was above us was not stomping around so late.

Lovely hotel, VERY relaxing to stay here. We liked the pool and hot tub, and loved the balconies and greenspace for watching the sunset. We were only able to stay 1 night, and it was amazing and much appreciated that they were able to accommodate our short stay, as most places require 2/3 night minimums certain times of the year. So so happy we stayed here; we look forward to coming back when we have more time.

The price was good, and the rooms, while a little older were quite clean. Nice pool and hot tub, as well as a billiards table and some pinball machines in the game room. Overall would definitely recommend if you re looking for a no-frills place to stay at an affordable price point.

Stayed here twice. Very good location and next to the Old Post Office fish boil. Both first floor and second floor rooms have view of the lake. It has a private lakefront area where you can swim and enjoy the view in summer. The room is spacious and well equipped with a small kitchen area. My favorite part is the pool and jacuzzi. This is the best choice of hotel at this price range in Ephraim.

Just checked in to the hotel (7/19/20). This place is exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. The building itself is a lot more modern than I thought and ultra-clean. I mean super clean. The room is large and the linens are crisp and fresh. The view is spectacular and I can t get over how much better this is than what I thought. It feels like a Hilton.

Nice enough place for the price, bed was comfy, great view of the water. Room had a whirlpool and was a bit musty smelled vaguely of mold/damp. (Possibly because the thin carpet runs all the way up to the whirlpool tub.) Odor was not bad enough to complain to management but I don t know if we d stay in that room again.

Excellent location - All major Door County attractions are within a 10-15 minutes drive! Impeccably clean rooms - Clearly reflects the love and care in maintaining this property! Private beach - Walk across the street to a lovely waterfront with gorgeous sunset views! Uber friendly staff - Buffy and her team are amazing and so welcoming! Value for money - Trust me, you won't get a better deal in this area for these rates!Ephraim Shores Resort checks all the boxes a traveler would look for. This was our first trip to Door County and our stay at this resort truly made it memorable! Highly recommended and deserves 5++ stars! Kudos and thank you!

You cannot believe this "motel". Perfect location, halfway up the peninsula. You can get to almost all of the key cities and attractions in less than 25 minutes. The room charge is so beautifully inexpensive.Call plenty ahead because they are very busy. There is a restaurant on property that is a hidden gem. We ate there 4 times for breakfast and 2 times for dinner.Great menu, reasonable prices, excellenttasting food.Give this place a look.

A wonderful suprise! Most comfortable I have ever been at a resort. We own a timeshare and stay at other places, but this one had feeling of relaxation we have not had in a long, long time. The room amenities and the lake right outside our door was awesome. The whirlpool put it over the top!!

Our family absolutely loves this place. Not only is it kid friendly, but the staff goes above beyond. You can tell they truly enjoy working at this resort! The rooms are always clean and very spacious. The pool area is great as well. It is in walking distance to Wilson s and other fun little shops along the way! It s a very quiet hotel too.

Roomy and clean, pool room is decent. Parking is somewhat tight if you have a large vehicle. They should look into sun shades for the lake front seating area. Close to local amenities.
