I stopped in on my way to work after finding a screw in my tire and losing pressure. Nick was helpful and said they could get me in quickly. Holden finished up an oil change and quickly plugged my tire. I greatly appreciate my vehicle being taken care of so quickly so I could get to work. Thanks again!

AVOID THIS SHOP. charged me 114.00 for an oil change, it's a normal oil change, but it's an Acura, so? ALSO PUT IN 0W-20, ON THE OIL CAP IT CALLS FOR 5W-20, AND OWNERS MANUAL.Then to fix a cple wheel studs was told it would take 4-5 hrs AND COST 722.00 because it's an Acura and made different. LIES, ITS OIL CHANGE IS NO DIFFERENT THAN NORMAL CAR. AND WHEEEL STUDS THEY QUOTED ME 722.00 JUST TO FIX FRONTS, ANOTHER REPUTABLE AUTO SHOP FIXED ALL 4 WHEELS IN UNDER 1 1/2 HRS AND COST ME 140.00. THIS PLACE LOST MY BUSINESS AND RESPECT. IM A MALE DON'T TREAT ME LIKE A FEMALE. AND IF THEY ARGUE ILL POST THE QUOTES AND FINAL BILL FOR THE OIL CHANGE. And show the bill for the finished work at a real mechanic shop that isn't out to rip off there customers. It's very obvious with the other reviews, very unprofessional, don't bring them anything older than 2010 the act like it's too hard to work on. And if you have a foreign car, just cause it's foreign it will be more. But my advice have anyone work on it but them

Just went in for a simple oil change on a Honda civic. Oil technician was un able to drive car onto lift hoist because it was a manual transmission. That's not the problem however, how does management not understand these requirements? My skid pan was just bent to access oil filter and was just bent back up without replacing the fasteners for the skid pan. I had to remind the technician to check tire pressure and other fluids. Again, this is more of a management issue.

I had a road trip from Seattle, WA to Raleigh, NC. About an hour away from our Day 4 stop, my tire pressure went low. I pulled over to air it up and saw my front passenger tire was completely bald. I called the nearest automotive center at 4:45pm. Brad told me to pull it in and he d see what he could do. He didn t have my tires, but said he could order them and have them in by the next day at 9:00am. He gave me an estimate for 3 types of tires and recommended a Hampton Inn for me to stay at. We brought the car over at 9:00am, it was fixed and ready to go before 11:00am. We hardly added an hour to our road trip. We made it all the way to Raleigh with no problem. Super friendly, super timely, and would 10/10 go again if I lived anywhere close. Thanks, Brad!Service: Tires

Four leaky tires on my wife's car. I'm thinking cold weather related. Checked all four tires. Cleaned aluminum rims, balanced & mounted and out the door. No need for appointment. Got me right in. Very professional. Thank you team!

Great service, great attitude, great people. Nit only did they help me out in a pinch with my tire and made sure the overall car was okay after a little accident, they gave me a quick oil change! I couldn't be more thankful for the professional mechanics/staff here.

Super quick service, great people, and experienced techs. That s all you can ask for! Did a great job mounting my tires. I brought my car in at 8AM, by 10AM they had assessed my car, welded a new piece of exhaust pipe on and replaced some clamps and had me on my way. Very quick service, and my car is running quietly once again. I am definitely very happy and will bring my car here again in the future.Service: ExhaustService: Exhaust

SERVICE- I got the pleasure of coming here twice and the husband and wife at the front desk were very sweet to me and my parents(SIDE NOTE: my parents are not the most well-tempered people in public so I'm always extremely appreciative when the staff handles such folks in a professional and calm manner ) They were also very helpful and the wait doesn't take long~ Especially when they have a cute doggo to greet you at the front desk that makes you wish you spent more time there!

SCAM and UNPROFESSIONAL GO ANYWHERE ELSEArrived with a brand-new suspension in need of a two-wheel alignment. Owner (Brian) informed me that it would take longer than expected and they would need to charge me an additional 2 shop hours to get it done. I received an update that their garage door had broken, and they were unable to complete the work until the following week. However, I still had to pay for the 2 shop hours that they likely spent working on their garage door.Regardless, after speaking to multiple mechanics I was informed that it is unreasonable for ANY mechanic who claims to be a PROFESSIONAL using the appropriate equipment to require nearly 4 hours to complete an alignment UNLESS replacement parts were necessary. No replacement parts were necessary as all parts were newly installed. However, they requested an additional 2 hours to get it right. They expected me to pay for approximately 6 shop hours for an alignment which typically costs under $100.I declined the additional 2 hours after learning more about their poor reputation in the community. I expressed my dissatisfaction of paying nearly $400 for an incomplete service to which I was told; it s an old car , it s not an easy one , it s too bad we couldn t get it done, but with a few more hours we probably could. I reluctantly paid them as I needed my vehicle back and they were unwilling to negotiate.Approximately 20 minutes after I picked up the vehicle another local repair shop confirmed that NO ALIGNMENT WAS PERFORMED. After completing the two-wheel alignment within an hour, they confirmed that all parts are new thus adjusting the alignment was a simple process.After learning I had paid for a service that was NOT performed, I contacted my credit card company. The owner (Brian) contacted the police and reported the vehicle and credit card as stolen which resulted in TWO police officers coming to my house to investigate. The investigators quickly realized that this complaint was inaccurate and likely used by the owner (Brian) as a means of trying to force me to pay.In summary I paid nearly $400 for an inspection that they never provided results of, an alignment that was never performed/completed, and a tire rotation which may or may not have been completed. This business is unprofessional, lacks ethics, and will even make false reports to the police to take your money.DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!EDIT: While I applaud the professionalism in his response, there conduct behind closed does is anything but professional. Do not let his response fool you! I never reported anything stolen, I simply disputed a charge for services I didn t receive.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment

Thank you Elkhorn Automotive! My experience was terrific, and you guys went above and beyond expectations. Martin performed the service promptly, according to schedule, and pointed out issues that he noted along the way. Pictures were provided to show the before and after work (this was a walnut blasting job on a direct injection engine). Martin did awesome work, communicated his progress and even came in slightly under estimate when I was anticipating a bit more, given the extra attention he gave the job. Extremely satisfied. Great work folks, and worth the extra drive.

Always honest and helpful. You know your getting quality service at a reasonable price. I've always been afraid to go take my car in because you don't know if your going to be taken advantage at most places, but here I am confident that the services provided are indeed what is need to be done and is done right. Thanks for keeping me and my kids safe guys!

The people there are friendly and honest! They fixed up an electrical issue that my car was retaining despite taking it to another local mechanic 3 times. On top of that they diagnosed and fixed several other problems which after doing some price checks I learned they had done at a bargain price with quality work. I've been taking my car here for several months with no issues, they are the best mechanic that I've ever gone to, and will continue going to! They are very courteous, kind and professional. If you are seeking a place that does quality work at a fair price, you'll find it here. I know I did!

Made an appointment over the phone with a lady to get my oil changed and transmission fluid changed showed up at the time I was supposed to show up and they said I never made an appointment lol, yikes.

I was stranded on the road and their tow truck was there in about 10 minutes, picked up the van and dropped me off at my job. After they repaired my van, they brought it out to me at my work. They were very friendly, extremely fast, and professional. I paid $45 for the tow, (which I thought was inexpensive!) I highly recommend them to anyone.

We recently had occasion to utilize Elkhorn Automotive for a very significant repair on my daughter's older van. Fran and staff were very friendly and helpful. The repair was done on time and at the price that had been quoted in the estimate. These folks do not nickel and dime you, and seem to genuinely care about making their customers happy. Because of the nature of the repair (and the age of the vehicle) it remains to be seen whether Elkhorn saved the patient's life, or merely added some quality time to the end-of-life! Thanks guys!

Stay away from this place. Took my wife's car for an oil change and her exhaust was broken, which we were aware of. they told her it would be $150 to fix it, so the following week we took it back to have the exhaust repaired. They called her and said there was a hole in the muffler, and the resignator was split open and needed to be replaced, both of these things were a lie. Trusting them she agreed to have everything replaced, I told her to request all the old parts back so I could see what they were talking about. When I looked everything over I could not understand why they said they need to be replaced, so I loaded the up and went to the shop for an explanation, they couldn't show me the hole in the muffler they told her was there, and claimed the resonator factory seam was leaking, I went back home closed the end of the pipe and put 25psi of air pressure in it from a compressor to find out it was in fact not leaking, so I went back to the shop where I was again told it was leaking when it was there and he had no idea why it wasn't leaking now. I asked for my money back for the parts they lied about that didn't need to be replaced, I was told the best he could do was a discount on future service, which does me no good as I will never take a vehicle there again. And neither should you.Extremely dishonest shop and gives mechanics a bad name.Service: Exhaust

I have been here before over the years and the service has been fine. However this time they forgot got to put the little washer that goes with the oil plug back in when completing my oil change. As a result I discoverd an oil stain on my drive way then missed the first half of the packer game running to NAPA to get the part then essentially redoing the oil change I paid 35 bucks for. They have been fine in the past but pretty annoyed with my last trip.

Thank you for the response as it s the most professional thing your shop, Elkhorn Automotive, has said to me. However, I have tried numerous times to correct this mistake in person and was told too bad . I fear the response from the owner is to maintain a good image with dissatisfied customers however I know they will not be honoring these words. I am here to warn other customers to look elsewhere for your automotive needs.

Getting off of the exit with my family in the car, we heard a loud dragging and scraping noise coming from underneath our car. I pulled into the Culver's parking lot and couldn't see anything. Looking around, I surveyed my options and saw this shop. I sighed and pulled expecting to get hosed by some high price uneeded repair and a long wait. I was totally wrong. Our car was pulled into a bay right away and in the time it took my wife to change our baby's diaper our car was pulled out and car was as good as new. It was a simple fix. When I went to pay, they told me "don't worry. no charge" . What a great experience from an honest establishment!

I have my two Volkswagens maintained regularly. The work is reliable and priced reasonable. I put a lot of miles on my cars and regular maintenance is essential. Being local and knowledgeable saves me in inconvenience and cost to service elsewhere. I have had dealers service my cars over the years and have been disappointed with unnecessary service and charges. Elkhorn Auto is easy to communicate and they work with me as to what is important to fix now or later.

My wife and I walked out of the Piggly Wiggly across the street with a full cart of groceries and a 20lb bag of ice to find our car had a flat tire. Luckily Elkhorn Automotive was across the street. I walked into their office and immediately had Mike pulling my car into the bay. He patched our tire so fast that our bag of ice did not melt, all on a 90 degree day. Fast, reliable and very reasonably priced. We couldn t be happier with Mike s service. He saved a couple city slickers another trip to grab Ice. Our cocktails were very cold that night!

Went in for an oil change, average price. However, was surprised to see my oil light on a day later with a huge stain in the driveway. Sketchy people in there. Will likely never return.

Outstanding. Had an issue with my truck, had taken it to various places, got the "your a girl, you couldn't possibly know look", not here. Took me seriously, fixed the problem. Service amazing. Will definitely be back.
