This is not my first stay at the Ashebrooke. This is not my first review of it. But my ratings have not changed. It is by far the best place to stay if you want a place that's literally so well kept that it feels almost brand new. The rooms are deluxe, super clean and quiet. The guests are often repeat customers who appreciate and respect the care that goes into every detail. The amenities are top notch and the pool is absolutely spotless. My only regret is that this true gem of a destination is not open all year round!Rooms: Cant describe the cleanliness of every square inch of the room. Bathroom LITERALLY sparkled. Fireplace and in room whirlpool as well as Large LED tv make the room itself a vacation spot..Nearby activities: Location is ideal. Close to State Park. Lighthouses, orchards, wineries, tour trolleys, GREAT restaurants, fishing, boating and watersports.Noteworthy details: Entire property shows pride of ownership. Our own home wasn't as immaculate as this.

My husband and I stayed at the Ashbrooke for the first time for 3 nights in July (2023). We loved our beautiful suite with a fireplace, comfortable bed, large bathroom and wet bar. We also enjoyed the tranquil setting. In October, my girlfriends and I stayed three nights. My friends loved it, too. The front desk staff were very accommodating and welcoming. This is a lovely hotel for peace and quiet.

Had took my wife here on our honeymoon, and I m sure glad I went here to stay! Nice pool/jacuzzi and nice outdoor patio (shared with others) that has a fireplace. They had light complimentary breakfast options, such as yogurt, muffins, orange/apple juice. We had got the room that included the fireplace/jacuzzi tub in the room, and it was very nice relaxing in the jacuzzi while sipping on some door county wine I definitely will recommend family and friends to come here, and we will definitely be returning back to this hotel in the future!

This used to be our go to place. We weren t so impressed this time. At this price point, A selection of fresh bakery would ve been appreciated as opposed to the prepackaged muffins and hard boiled eggs which tasted of plastic at the very least set out a toaster and loaf of bread. The room was clean but was not made up for our second night. This was never the case on our prior visits.

This is an exceptionally clean hotel which is number one on my list. The cleaning crew does an impeccable job here. It has a beautiful outdoor Sun Deck with a fire pit and the grounds are extremely well-maintained. There is a beautiful indoor pool with a nice hot tub. It does not come with breakfast if that's your thing. You can walk to everything in the main area for the most part, and it is right near the Door County Trolley Tours if you're interested in doing that as well. We had a whirlpool suite with a wet bar and microwave and refrigerator. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean and the shower water is beyond refreshing with the high power shower heads. It only had a few small negatives. The microwave is really really low inside of a cabinet. If you are unable to bend you wouldn't even be able to use it. It is very difficult to see what you are doing unless you lay on the floor. Also the bed was extremely hard and very uncomfortable in the room we stayed in. All in all I would definitely stay here again and just ask for a room with a little softer bed. They are beautifully decorated rooms with beautiful artwork. The staff was very kind. I'm in my mid forties and there was no children at this point which I appreciate.

We really enjoy staying at the Ashbrooke Hotel. The grounds are just beautiful. It is very quiet & peaceful because there are no children there. It is close to the restaurant where we eat breakfast. The Main Street Market is very close by as well. We look forward to going to Door Co & staying there next year.Rooms: The room is clean & up to date with a refrigerator, microwave, & coffeemaker. We also had a porch to go out on. We look forward to going back to our realxing room after a long day hiking on trails in Peninsula State Park.Food & drinks: The room has a coffeemaker with Regular & Decaf Starbucks coffee. The front desk also has Regular & Decaf Door Co coffee as well as tea up to about 6:30pm. We brought extra water bottles & drinks with us.

Me and my wife spent the weekend at the Ashbrooke and it was such an incredible time. The hotel itself is very well maintained and centrally located to so many cool spots in door county. The pool/hot tub and outdoor sitting area were really great. On chilly nights you can sit by the fire pit on the deck to warm up. The staff was so kind and helpful. The owner himself went above and beyond to make our first stay in door county the best we could ever ask for. I cannot thank Fred enough for being so kind to me when I wasn't sure if my trip was gonna be a good memory or not but his kindess turned my weekend around for the best. I will always remember this trip and can't wait to go back to the Ashbrooke hotel.

We come to Door County every year and stay at the Ashbrook Hotel. We love it as it is an only adult hotel, upon our arrival on Thursday August 17 th -August 20th the first two nights the deck area fire table wasn t working, so we couldn t enjoy that. The next thing was that our whirlpool tub as I found out had a soap scum from previous guests and the last thing was the musty smell in our room and yes we let the front desk know. However nothing was ever done about the smell of the room and it wasn t addressed. They did however come and clean the whirlpool tub which is what we wanted done and on our last night there the fire table on the deck was working fine. It was a little bit frustrating

Stopped in without reservations. Lucked out and got the last available room. Lady at desk was very friendly and helpful. Very nice room, simple, but nice. Great bed. Great shower. Expensive, but you are paying for location/tourists attraction.Rooms: Room was very nice, clean and updated.

We loved, loved, loved staying here! Clean, well maintained in every aspect..in the room and around the property. The jacuzzi tub to the fireplace, excellent. The only downfall which was pretty huge for us was the mattress. We have a pretty firm mattress at home but this one was hard as a rock. We both woke up with knots in our backs and shoulder blades and even contemplated going home early despite already paying 250+ per night.

Our stay at the Ashbrooke Hotel was absolutely amazing! It was the get away that my husband and I needed. The hotel staff is more than accommodating and extremely friendly. The rooms are AMAZING! Everything was so clean and accessible. We stayed in the Get Away Room with the two person saunijet and for only $139 a night! We will be back for sure!

this place was lovely, however unless you are out of your room pretty early each day room service will skip you and will have to go to the front office for things likw fresh towels and coffee pods (not keurig) for the machine in the room.other than that it was an amazing experience, no kids allowed so it was very quiet, whirlpool in the room was super relaxing, the fireplace is nice and romantic. my husband and i came here for out honeymoon and we will stay here again if we comw to door county again!room was very clean, no sign of bedbugs, definitely recommend as a couple's resort. if you have kids though, go somewhere else.

The hotel and our room were spotless. Everything smelled fresh. The grounds were beautifully maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It really helped that the weather was nice. We were able to enjoy an evening on the patio along with other guests. Our first time staying here and it was terrific.

Beautiful room, very clean, and it was very quiet. The pool and hot tub were clean and fun. They have a cute sitting area with a fire pit that was very relaxing. I only gave it 4 stars because they only had a prepackaged sweet breads for breakfast and they were dry and horrible tasting.. Other than that the place is amazing.

Great location, friendly staff and spotless room! The property is immaculately maintained. The fire pit in the evening was a really nice addition also. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others.Our only suggestion would be to cut back on the deodorizer in the hallways.

Stayed here in June 2021. The staff were friendly, the facilities clean and the room really large. All for a great price. To top it off, after I left I realized I had forgotten some clothing items in one of the drawers. The staff were nice enough to have set it aside, and then box it up and mail it to me! They really went above and beyond and I appreciate it.

The Ashbrooke is spectacular, the grounds are groomed to perfection. The staff is very warm and welcoming. My wife and I are so glad we chose this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean with a two sided fireplace. The rooms are completely quiet. The pool was great and the outdoor sitting area was a great place to unwind. We will be back.

They were kind of rude at check-in! Our phone wasn't able to call the front desk and instead called the hotel's voicemail so we heard all these people's messages and when I called them (from my cell phone) about it they were, again, very rude and didn't even fix it. So, when our whirlpool wasn't working we felt it was too much of an inconvenience to call. The cheese board we ordered from them was nothing to write home about at all. The bed was very comfortable, pool was great and the whole place was very clean. But definitely not worth the money.
