We had to buy a new motor and we had him install it in our TJ. He was difficult to get a hold of but we gave him the benefit of the doubt. We thought it was fine and were actually impressed by his reasonable rates at first. That was until the weather got warm and we were going to charge the AC for Summer. It was then that we realized that he forgot to reassemble the AC lines. There were also bolts missing out of the front bumper shroud. We called him and left a message that he didn't respond to. We then drove over to his shop to talk to him. He was unprofessional and told us it was just a couple of nuts and screws. He admitted he forgot and just didn't want to deal with it. Mind you,he was smoking at his desk and didnt look overly busy. We paid this guy over a thousand dollars for his labor and he did not offer any fix of any kind. Obviously we are very disappointed and feel he didn't complete the work appropriately. We gave him the chance to rectify and he chose not to. After further inspection we have noticed that the inspection plate on the transmision is gone,there is a bolt missing out of the intake manifold,no nuts on the motor mount bolts, the bottom of the oil pan is smashed and 1 of the O2 sensor wires are twisted. We are sharing our experience in hopes that we can avoid others having to learn the hard way like we did. He came highly recommend from Morrisons Auto salvage(where we got the motor from) so we thought we would be safe and protected. Especially because we were told that if we went through him,we would have a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. We have pictures to support all of these claims.Service: Engine repair

Scotty has more than fair pricing and is true to his quote. The repairs are guaranteed. I'm so glad to have found a mechanic I can trust! He is very pleasant and easy to work with.

Quality work at reasonable rates. Scott is a one man show. You won't be paying for a fancy glass building with a receptionist and a service manager. If you ever wished you could talk directly to the mechanic to help solve your vehicle's problem then Scotty is your guy. I've been a satisfied customer for over 30 years.

My car's alternator went out on our way back from vacation. We pulled of the highway, the car completely stopped across the street from Scotty's auto care. Scotty, walked over with my husband and quickly attached a battery charger and told us to pull the car across the street. He diagnosed the car, ordered the part and replaced it with the new part. All was finished within two hours. We are truly grateful that Scotty was able and willing to help us. Would recommend his business to anyone!

We were stranded on the side of the freeway with a bad alternator on our way home to Michigan from a family vacation. Scotty saved the day, found the parts needed, stayed late on a Friday afternoon and got us on the road again. To top things off he was reasonably priced. We couldn't be more pleased.
