Sean and the crew at Rick s Service Center do a great job. Fast, friendly, and the prices are always fair. I truly believe they look out for the best interest of their customers and trust them fully. Would highly recommend.

Sean is always awesome. I own a business here in Eau Claire and take all my vehicles to these guys. Great Values, Price, Timely, etc. I ve got many my employees taking their vehicles to Rick s now too. As much as I wish I never had to take a vehicle in for services, these guys are the go to Eau Claire .

Only auto place in Eau Claire that I ve had amazing service and communication at! As a woman, it s hard to trust auto places but Rick s has always been reliable, honest, tells you exactly what is wrong and throughly communicates it, and is reasonably priced! Will continue to take my BMW here!

We've been using Rick's for almost a decade for all of our auto service needs, jobs big and small. Service is prompt and prices fair. They stand behind their work and will make things right! They always take the time to explain what's going on, and often show you the worn out parts they replaced. We always recommend this place!

Went to get my tire replaced as I had a flat. I had my spare on and had bought a new tire before going to Rick's. A couple of my family members come here regularly and recommended this auto shop. I didn't have a ride so waited in the waiting area and chatted with the owner, Sean, until it was done. Very nice man and had a great conversation. I will definitely be back when my car is in need of service again and will be recommending Rick's to friends and family.

The service at Rick's has always been prompt, friendly, honest, and reasonably priced. They know their stuff. There was one emergency situation I had, and the guys stayed a half hour late to get my car fixed the same day. I was extremely grateful. Definately one of the best places in the valley to get your car fixed.

My check engine light popped on. So I brought my car in to Rick s. Turned out to not be too catastrophic. Car needed a new engine coolant thermostat and have the coolant topped off. Staff were very courteous, cost was reasonable and the repair was done in a timely manner. I've always had good experiences with this shop. Quick to get your car in. Repairs are very reasonable. This is my preferred shop for all my repairs. Even the Nissan dealership has commented on how knowledgeable Shaun is in his line of work. I would recommend this place to anyone who inquires. Thank you for getting me back on the road!

Honest and efficient place to bring your car. On my first visit they went all out to work outside under the rain to find out what's wrong with my overheating car. They diagnosed it under an hour and it was a quick fix, did not charge me extra for any services. Came back a year later to fix my anti-theft system, owner was nice to give me several options and even recommended the cheapest, said it would take it a few days to work on it since it was busy but he found time to finish it within a day.

I own a Land Rover and Rick s is one of the only places in Eau Claire that will work on it. They have replaced transmission and several other things over the past few years and each time they are professional, they get me in quickly, and they re also very reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.

I have taken several cars there to fix problems like my starter going out, power steering going out, and other smaller problems! Every time I was treated with respect and I got my vehicle fixed within a day or two at reasonable prices! They were always upfront with the cost and called me to ask permission to do anything with my vehicle! Flawless service!

I always take my car here for general maintenance and small to larger jobs. They never do more or try to upsell anything. Its a small local shop that is honest and tries very hard. Great people and quality service. Scheduling is easy but they do fill up quick, which is good, but obviously bad if youre in a bind with a busted car! Check them out!

Before I start this review I would like note that my experience with Rick's happened approx. 14 years ago. While the job they did was fantastic, their accountability is dirt poor from my experience and I think it's worth telling.In 2006 I had just brought in a my favorite car of all time growing up. A 1992 Mitsubishi VR4 that I had just done a complete engine overhaul on, all by my myself. I was head over heels with the car except it was only running on 5 cylinders so I decided to bring it a shop down the road a couple blocks since I didn't have the tools at my college house. The mechanics there were phenomenal. They located the faulty fuel injector and had the part on order within the afternoon. They told me they'd hold the car a few days till the part came in. As a college student at the time, this was fine, I could walk wherever I needed to anyways.A couple days go by and I go to pick up the car. I notice it's parked oddly close to a wall on the passenger side but think nothing of it. I pay, start the car, and go home a couple blocks. It runs like a champ. I get to my house excited to take one of my roommates out on a test drive. As I return to my car I notice a MASSIVE 18" crease in my passenger door. It appears as if someone has opened the door into a corner or someone opened a door into it. I return to Rick's immediately to ask what happened. I'm told by someone who works there that it was there before I dropped it off. I responded that it wasn't. The employee or whomever just taps the sign, "not responsible for damages of personal property" (or something like that) and says, "go file a police report if you don't like it." I felt disappointed that such a highly recommended shop would act so poorly after they committed such an obvious mistake and pin it on a kid.I understand that this has happened a long time ago and that the people responsible may not work there anymore but I needed to say my peace about Rick's. I've never taken another car to a shop again after that. They have single handedly removed any confidence that I have in other people working on my vehicles.TLDR; talented, reasonably priced mechanics who get the work done but don't trust your vehicle there overnight.Service: Engine repair

Shaun and the guys at Rick's are too notch. They will give you a "no B.S." assessment of your vehicle detailing all that they found and will even prioritize the repairs if you aren't able to afford everything that needs to be done. They have never tried to sell me anything more expensive or told me something needed to be fixed that didn't and I've never worried that they would sabotage something to bring me back to get more money. (That actually happened to me before) I would Highly recommend Rick's Service Center for all your auto repair needs!

Just moved here and was worried about a new mechanic but they took care of me and did a great job, friendly explaining to me what they were doing and why and how much before they did it. Very inexpensive as for a mechanic. Will always bring my business here and have recommended more people here.

Very honest, diligent, and professional, and the prices have been better than others' in town. That's why we continue to go back with any car issues that arise, and highly recommend Rick's Service Center when friends ask for a recommendation.

I have a BMW that had a coolant leak, brought it to Capital Motors where I bought it from and they couldn't figure it out. Brought it to Rick's and he took the time to get it right and truly fix it. Have been back several times since. IMO the best car repair place in town. Dedication to doing it right keeps me coming back.

Great first experience here! I was just thinking of a temporary fix for my wheel well because part of it was falling off. They had it fixed, exceeding my expectations, in under an hour. I probably won t even have to replace the entire wheel well now. It was also very reasonably priced for my repair. I will definitely be coming here again if I need any more car help.

We use Rick's all the time for all our maintenance and repairs on our car. They are friendly and very professional. Love that they know me by name and I'm only in there usually for oil changes and general maintenance. I highly recommend them!!

Rick's has taken care of my cars for a few decades. It is a garage I can fully trust. They make repairs only when needed. One time I had an oil change in another city at the garage my daughter uses. They are professional and a good shop, but after the oil change presented me with a list of things that they felt needed to be done. Rick's checked those things and selected a few things, but dismissed an expensive repair,the head gasket, which showed only the slightest need for improvement.. Rick's checks my car regularly and puts repairs that improve safety first.

I had two vehicles serviced here. One was a van, which had a rough idle and acceleration. They diagnosed it quickly, explained what was happening in the engine and replaced only what was needed to fix the problem. The second was a car with a fuel leak. Again, they showed me exactly what had to be replaced. They kept the prices very close to what they estimated and I thought the total cost was reasonable.

My daughter is a student working her way through school. She has a very old car that broke. Her insurance towed it to Ricks. The owner Shawn gave her a quote of $1200+ to fix, she obviously couldn't afford that and Shawn refused to do just enough work to get it going. My daughter found another garage that was willing to work with her and do just enough to keep it going for a while. When my daughter had the tow truck go to get car and move to other garage Shawn wouldn't let the car go until my daughter paid $95.00, he said because he had an hour into it. What a great way to welcome ALL these students to your business. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

These guys are the real deal. Trust them. I recently had some body work done at another place, the guys there asked me where I take my car for maintenance. When I told them they didn't hesitate," those guys are honest" they said. I already knew!

I had an issue with my car's throttle body and I knew that was the problem. At Rick's they just "cleaned" a part of the throttle body and it wasn't working a week later. I was told I needed a new one and did not even care that I had just had useless work done. Overall, over priced and they do not have the customer in mind.
