They always get me in quick when I need my car looked at and can always get the work done that same day. The best part about coming here is how friendly all the staff are and their honesty. They don t tell you to fix something just to hike up the bill. They will tell you what needs done and how much of a priority it is for the safety of your vehicle all while keeping the price the same as what they quoted you prior to fixing the vehicle. I also personally love that it s a family business as well keep up the great work guys!

I have been going to Rick's Auto Care Center for years and they absolutely amazing! They offer courteous, honest and professional auto service, that is inexpensive compared to anywhere else in our market, always standing behind their work. Derrick is great to work with, always letting me know what else should be done, that is found, during scheduled service, saving me hassle, time and money in the long run. Derrick always explains what repairs are needed and offers options when available. I will go no where else and have referred multiple friends and family, whom all share the same awesome service experience from Rick, Derrick and their team! I worked in the automotive service industry for over 13 years, don't hesitate to trust your auto repairs and maintenance to Rick's Auto Care Center. Thank you guys!!!

I moved to Eau Claire a couple years ago and asked around for a recommendation for a good honest mechanic. Rick s was recommended and I ve been taking both of my vehicles here ever since. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. They are very honest and will tell you what you need or don't need done to your vehicles. I highly recommend them. I won t take my vehicles anywhere else.

These guys are great! My wife was stranded with a flat tire. When I showed up to help change it, we discovered the spare was flat due to a bad valve stem. Found these guys on google and I showed up desperate for a quick repair. They were very nice and had me ready to go in minutes. I was willing and expected to over pay for emergency service, but they wouldn't even accept payment. Best service shop experience ever!

This place will forever be where I go for auto care in Eau Claire after my most recent car emergency. Rick s is professional, timely, inexpensive, and very knowledgeable. Derrick was a ton of help and I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen!

We have had two vehicle repairs done at Rick s Autocare. Great service, they explain the car repair needed, and we find the estimates for repairs to be better than other shops.No doubt, this is our only car shop for auto repairs.

Friendly and professional, but they were not equipped or did they have the skill to repair the problem? 3 visits dropping off, I left with the same problem I began with and about $400 bucks short. They should have told me they couldn t repair it and given me a break on the cost. This would have been ok. I get it. I took the vehicle to a dealership, they found the issue and repaired it for $200. It wasn t an easy fix, the tech at the dealership was just that good. Honesty is always best, so I doubt I ll be back to Ricks for repair.

Ricks is the place to go! They are honest, fast and trustworthy. They are thorough and did such a great job on my oil change I came back a few days later to have them do some work on my truck. This is the place to go.. The sad part is the few bad reviews are from the other location not this one. They are also very informative and have no problem talking you through the problems. As a woman it's hard to find a shop to tell you like it is and not just try to talk down to you and give you a Laundry list of things you don't even need...All the guys I dealt there are polite, respectful, super intelligent and nice. Highly, highly recommend!!!

My wife was traveling and something was noticeably wrong with her car. I called Rick's and they were able to look at it right away and fix it that day. Thank you so much, Rick's, for helping us out in an urgent situation. Great customer service, great communication, and very responsive to my concerns! I don't live in Eau Claire so I doubt I will ever have to use them again, but if you live in the area I recommend giving them a try!Service: Engine repair

I had a great experience with Rick s Autocare. I didn t feel like I was being taken advantage of, service was fast & Derrick communicated very clearly with me. On top of repairing my faulty starter they notified me of an oil leak & a radiator leak. I look forward to doing further business, hopefully under different circumstances of course.

Can always get your car in quickly, very good communication, and honest. My brakes were making noise and I brought the car in to have them replaced. Rick's Autocare took a look and determined they didn't need to be replaced, just cleaned up, and saved me a couple hundred bucks. Very good and honest people!

Its a great Family shop. Honest Shop. Theyre not a "Add-On" , sales kinda shop. They are there to repair what you need,and keep you on the road and safe. At the most reasonable price. I thought I needed a heater core but went in to get an appointment for a back flush first. They got my vehicle in right away did a diagnostic test found it was my battery and oil pressure. They changed my oil, put in a new battery test drove it and I have HEAT!! Less than $300 vs $1000+! I was so worried they were going to screw me over like so many other places because I am a woman, but they were the best! Rick came and explained everything to me step by step and explained that he didn t feel a back flush was needed since heat was coming out and it was just a matter of the blend doors possibly sticking due to the battery not putting out much. Thank you guys I ll be back when service is needed again!!!

My daughter lives in Eau Claire 3 1/2 hours from home and had issues with her car. She needed a water pump, tie-rod end and had an exhaust issue. These guys called me, explained what they saw (which was what I already knew) and set up the repairs. They didn't "up sell" me on a new serpentine belt and even offered a solution to fix the exhaust issue for less than a new part. The cost was reasonable, even less than I expected. I 'd say these guys are honest and competent. Thank you!

Rick's team knew right away what was wrong with my 6.0 liter chevy pickup when I called and said my oil pressure was very low all of a sudden.? They changed the seal on my pickup tube in the oil pan and cleaned the screen. Added a new oil sending unit and I have my 40 plus pounds of pressure again.also my oil Guage is much more responsive than before the problem occurred. Thanks guys!

The weekend of June 21st, I was driving to Minneapolis from Florida and my car died on the highway, east of Eau Claire. AAA towed me here- and man was I grateful. They were closed, but I left my keys in the drop and a note in the car. When I called from the hotel the next morning, 10 minutes after opening, they had already seen the note and had the car up, looking it over. By 9 they knew the problem and explained it very clearly.I had just had a new alternator put in 4 days previously, but apparently it was a dud. I OK'd the costly replacement (alternators aren't cheap), but a little while later, they called back to say they had taken it upon themselves to call the alternator company to see about a warranty- which it had. They called to see if I had the paperwork, which I did. So, after they knew they had me for the full cost, they went above & beyond. They saved me about $350. It was done that same day, at about 1pm.If I lived in Eau Claire, I'd use them exclusively. If a shop were going to be shady, they'd do it to a traveling, stranded customer. How they treated me really shows their character as businesspeople. Also- zero issues with the car since then.

I would recommend, we ve had some major work done and the guys are very experienced and pretty much know what the problem is before we bring it in. Great shop! We do most of our car work ourselves, but if there's something we cant do, we go to Rick's! We trust their diagnosis, they have reasonable rates, and can usually get the car fixed in a jiffy.

I'd heard good things about Rick's. I went there for a check engine light and Rick himself helped me (and it is a decent size operation). Very nice, we are trying the easy solutions first. I trust them. My car is a Prius.

Rick is an Honest businessman, great service, clean auto shop. Friendly staff that will help you, and definitely not try to rip you off. I Highly Recommend, it's the only place me and my family take our cars.

Great place to do business! They are always willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. Definitely would recommend anyone to take their cars here for work! Not a shop to just though parts at vehicles and hope that it fixes the problem. A+
