The staff are nice and friendly but the wait times can be insane. We reserved a time for an oil change, got in right away, and then waited 1.5 - 2 hours. We were done shopping after about 1 and the next 30-60 minutes with our bored 3 - and 5-year-olds were a nightmare.

went there a few weeks ago to get new winter tires installed and the "techs" broke the inside door handle on the vehicle i took in. I dont know they type of stupid it takes to accomplish that but the guy came out pretending he didnt know what was going on with the worst attitude. Few days later i get the run around it turns out that the guys broke the inside mechanism to my door handle which ended up costing $600+ to fix. sure glad i got to save the $30 compared to the costco where i usually go.

Went in tonight for an oil change and tire patch. 2 1/2 hours later ( I was the only person being worked on)! They changed my oil but told me I had to come back fro replace tire cuz they couldn t patch it! So, 2 1/2 hours for an OIL CHANGE! Terrible! I could ve done that myself! What a joke!

Usually they re good but one day the technician put my car in gear while it was rolling in reverse pretty quick. He also took a while in my car after parking, he comes out with a cigarette and when he comes in 5 mins later I asked if he sparked that in my car, he said yes I did sarcastically and the guy on register assured me they wouldn t do that but upon entering my vehicle there was a definite odor of cigarettes/tobacco. Haven t been there since.Services: Auto tire replacement, Oil change

If Walmart Inc. Has some sort of Award for best Auto Service Center of the year the crew in Dodgeville deserves it the most! It wasn't until I moved to a bigger city for college that I became aware that often these centers are not staffed by reliable people and many issues occur, resulting in no one wanting to touch a Walmart Auto center. But Dodgeville's crew is different, only Walmart Auto Center I will ever trust to perform services! The guys always have a good attitude, filters and plugs are always tight and never come loose, or any leaks after.

The mechanics at this location are top notch. I had an issue with my tires: Warranty related. They ordered me new tires, had them in less then 2 days. They installed them! Jeremy is a great manager. He listens. He suggested the new tires I got. I am very happy with them! My car rides like it did when it was new! Kudos to Jeremy for being a Manager who has great Customer Service skills as well as a super mechanic!

I hit a curb in the parking lot and a pipe was dragging on the ground. I had to drive my kids back to madison so I left my car there and came back the next day. They don't do muffler work but they jacked up my car and tied up the pipe so I could safely drive my kids home. We tried to give them $20 but they wouldn't take it. It's refreshing to know that there is still good people out there willing to help. Thank you to the fellas who helped us when they didn't have to!Service: General repairs & maintenance

I've purchased a set of tires and years of oil changes. When they damaged my car they lied about it, tried to blame it on the last place that did an oil change. That was another Walmart.Shop there but don't trust your car to them at that location.
