Eric gave me a great deal on my trade in and he sold me a very nice used truck. A little issue popped up under his 30day/1000 mile warranty and he took care of it. Man of his word. Highly recommend!

I wish there were more than 5 stars for this rating... I am very particular and they continue to impress by going above and beyond to find the perfect vehicle for me. I love my new truck! They have an amazing inventory selection and even more AMAZING owners and staff!! Hands down, they are the best!!

Drove 3 hours to Dodgeville Auto to buy a F250. By far the best dealership I have ever worked with. Jack my salesmen was amazing. He stayed late on a Saturday and did everything he could to make sure I got the truck I came there for. I couldn t ask for a better experience buying a vehicle. Honest straightforward dealership. Will be recommending them to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle.

Bought an 18 f150 said they replaced the brakes come to find out a week later brakes were grinding realized they only replaced 3 of the 4 also anytime it rained truck would constantly ding and say trailer connected trailer disconnected called them about it was told a tech would get ahold of me money never heard back also front plate bracket was broke off was told they would mail me one that never hapoend stay away from this shady dealer

Drove up from Chicago to purchase a 2013 VW Touareg from Dodgeville Auto, it was probably the best dealership experience I've ever had. They were super transparent about the car, good and bad, as well as respecting my time which for a 3 hour drive was super important. Definitely recommend for anyone in the car market!!

I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they are amazing!!!!! We live in Texas and we re driving up to Wisconsin to see family. 20 minutes from our destination we realized we could no longer drive as our wheel was making a crunching noise (metal on metal). We had to leave my truck on the side of the road!! The next day we had trouble finding a mechanic that could get the truck done in time for us to drive home. (This was a Saturday and we wanted to go home on Monday or Tuesday). Every single mechanic we called said it would be at least Wednesday or Thursday for my truck to get done. We were very upset. We finally got my truck on a friends trailer and we last minute called Dodgeville sales and service. They are extremely friendly on the phone and the man said he would ask his service manager. After holding for only a couple minutes he said they could have it done on Monday!! I m not kidding I was jumping for joy!! We got it over there and they took it in and said they could call us Monday. We got a call around 8:30am letting us know it will be done at 4! We got text message updates which was very nice! Plus they got it done early!! We went and picked it up and they showed us exactly what they did and showed us the old parts which I appreciate! It actually ended up being so much cheaper than we were expecting which was amazing since we were already spending a lot coming up here! I felt very comfortable talking to the mechanics and they are very friendly. I recommend them to my family and friends and if you are needing someone for service on your vehicle I would recommend them to you!! Amazing people that actually care about your vehicle and you!

Sold us a truck that they knew was garbage. It had 13 pages of warranty work done that they did not disclose. Including while it was in their possession so we know they knew about it. Our truck only lasted about five weeks. NEVER BUY HERE!!!Edit after seeing owners response: I am including the pages of warranty work here. This formatting only had 12 pages instead of 13, but definitely doesn t fit in two. Also I want to add that this truck was TWO years old. The attitude that I have gotten in response on this post and the Facebook post is so pretentious. I don t expect a vehicle to never break down. What I expect is for 12-13 pages worth of warranty work (with a lot focusing on the electrical) on a two year old vehicle to be disclosed to a buyer.

Just bought 2014 chevy from them. Nothing more I hate more than a dentist is dealing with car salesman. This place was awesome to deal with. Left with my new truck and felt great, felt I got a great deal and would buy again from them. No pressure to buy anything. Had good conversation with all there and were very helpful. Please give them a shot and don't be afraid. Thank you Eric!! Really was a good time and experience.

Great family dealership. I drove 561 miles one way to purchase a truck from Eric and his team. Great experience from beginning to end. One comment from his closing agent stuck with me when I was about to head home: "I know you're a long way from here, but if you have any issues with your truck, just let us know. We'll do what we can to help."I appreciate that!

My husband bought a Jeep back in the pandemic from here in 2021 and ever since it has been a vehicle from hell. Please takeyour time when buying a car from here. Ask question, test drive, and everything. The owner is a veteran and we are too so that s my reason for a two star.We finally got rid of the car after almost 2 years

The guys here were amazing!! I was two and a half hours from home and two and a half hours from my destination and I lost a brake line on a Thursday at 2:30 in the afternoon and they fit me in right away even though they were slammed at one guy short in the shop! Got me back on the road in no time! Something like that makes me want to drive two and a half hours back down there to buy my next vehicle when the time comes!

Eric was extremely responsive, very easy to work with and was not pushy at all. He arranged for the vehicle to be delivered within a matter of hours, and Jack was very courteous and helpful with the delivery and transaction. The vehicle arrived as described/pictured and was in excellent condition. While I went for a test drive, Jack looked the vehicle I traded. I easily traded in my old vehicle at a fair market trade-in price, and they prepared all of the necessary paperwork. I will definitely look to the team at Dodgeville Auto for my future vehicle purchases!

BADBADBADtypical car sales person that lies to you about their cars to make a sale!!!i drove 5 hrs to see a car there, they lied on the pictures, pictures wasnt clear, the car was far from being good, lots os scratches, leather seat was ripped, tons of dents on it, he wouldnt even lower the price, Eric the owner, think very high of his cars, well i have a feeling about that!

Third purchase - third great experience.We just purchased our third vehicle from Dodgeville Auto in the last few years and have never been disappointed. Eric and his team are excellent to deal with and show you how valued you are as a customer. They have good used vehicles at reasonable prices and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and have a great experience - purchase or service. I have never before recommended a car dealer but I do this one.

We had a great experience at Dodgeville Auto Sales & Service! Jack, our salesmen was efficient and patient staying well past closing time to complete the process. Jared filled up the gas tank before we left.. Later when we had issues with the air conditioning in our new vehicle they fixed it for us. They went above and beyond delivering our vehicle to us an hour and a half one way. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a new car!!

Absolutely worth our 2 hour drive to be welcomed by Eric, the Owner himself, he stayed open for us passed his closing time, we test drove the suv we were interested in and it was a great experience overall! He gave us a great deal out the door price on the suv and we drove it home the same day! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS DEALERSHIP!! Best Experience I've had in a long time! Thank you for everything!

Recently found myself pulling into Dodgeville Auto about mid-trip of driving my parents home to Kieler, Wisconsin from a visit to UW Hospitals. A loud, inconsistent noise had started coming from the rear driver's side wheel accompanied by a slight vibration in the steering column / wheel. Our hometown mechanic advised us over the phone to pull off as soon as possible. Thankfully, Dodgeville was just up the road. We were greeted by very friendly staff at Dodgeville Auto with Jared Yingst in their service department getting our vehicle in immediately to be looked at. The rusted emergency brake was found and remedied quickly; we were on our way home in less than an hour. Charges for the emergency, unscheduled services were very reasonable. Thanks Dodgeville Auto for taking such good care of us!!

Wonderful people, wonderful service! I am extremely pleased with the service that I received from Eric and the crew. Normally buying a used car is a very stressful experience for me, but this time it was enjoyable. They even delivered the car to me (and I live 3 hours away). I love my "new" used car. Thank you!

So I recently purchased a 2014 Ford F250 Crewcab Diesel from Eric the owner of Dodgeville Auto and what an amazing purchase. I got a seriously amazing deal on the truck but also picked up the extended warranty with it. This was a $40,000 purchase that was sight unseen. I would have never done this but Eric got my financing setup and made everything as easy as you can get. I will be telling everyone who wants to buy an amazing used vehicle to go see him. Once again amazing service and easiest purchase I have ever made

My wife and I have never been to a car lot where the owner just hands over the keys for four vehicles and says, "take them out for a drive and let me know if you have questions". Eric was amazing, there was no pressure to buy. Everyone was very friendly and professional. We will definitely go back.

We purchased an A3 last December and while it was a good deal with a clean CarFax/history we made the mistake of trusting that their shop thoroughly went over the vehicle. In the months since and only 3k miles we've had more issues than a person should have with a newer vehicle with 50k miles on it.-Inoperable A/C (DA recharged for free which was nice)-torn & leaking C/V boot-wore out front control arm bushings-bad tire seal (slow leak - indicator came on a week after purchase)-Needs new fuse box for intermintent electrical codes (admittedly this would have been nearly impossible for them to diagnose)Bottom line - they seem like very nice people and mean well, but make sure you take it to an independent mechanic prior to purchase.

Jun 15, 2021, Jon Venske Eric is very personable and great at what he does. He worked with me in finding the exact truck that fit my needs. I'm two hours away, they delivered the vehicle to me . When it arrived, it was as I expected. I did notice a few things out of sorts, but Eric said he would take care of it.

Dodgeville Auto restored my faith in car dealerships. I have only positive things to say about my experience with them, which is a huge accomplishment in an often-maligned industry.I purchased a truck from Dodgeville Auto in mid-July of 2017. I worked with Ethan via email and in-person. He was helpful, accommodating, and easy-going. When I arrived, he had the truck I was interested up front and ready to test drive. He didn't ask for my ID or collateral, just let me jump in and test drive. This immediate establishment of trust set the tone favorably for the rest of the visit!The truck's listed price was competitive. It came in lower than Kelley Blue Book's recommendation, and from all the competitors I looked at. I didn't even attempt to haggle because of this, which was actually kind of a relief.I fell in love with my truck and was ready to purchase the same day, a Saturday. The total process took less than two hours! I was very impressed with Ethan's speed and competence to get all the paperwork in order, especially on a weekend. He had a good grasp of lenders and how fast they would be able to approve me. I told him a price / monthly payment I was looking for and he came back well under that.I had a vehicle to trade-in. I sat in disbelief as Ethan offered me more for the car than any Madison dealer had, without even setting foot in it! If you have a trade-in, this is the dealership to go to.I also had a great experience with Dodgeville Auto's mechanics; it is clear they stand behind their trucks. I noticed a small fluid leak on the truck I was purchasing. They diagnosed it as a power steering fluid leak and said they would fix it for me. I asked if I could drive the truck with the leak so long as I kept it topped off. I was surprised when they said yes!This detail is important because I ended up causing some damage by driving it in this condition. By the time I brought my truck back to resolve the leaking power steering fluid, the camshaft position sensor had failed. I know from my own mechanical experience that the leaking fluid was the cause. They could have easily put the cost of that repair on me, but happily fixed it free-of-charge.The mechanics also fixed a noisy starter, improved the alignment, did an oil change (no cheap task on a big diesel!), and replaced the air filter without charge. This was well after I "signed the check" for the vehicle. They were under no obligation to do this work but still treated me to the care! You better bet I'll be back for repair work when needed.As this review will attest, I had a great experience at Dodgeville Auto & Sales. I highly recommend them.

Eric and the crew at Dodgeville Auto have been great, and they have earned my repeat business. Eric took the time to understand my situation with the vehicle I was in, and was able to provide a perfect solution with a new set of wheels, while at the same time resolving the negative equity I had in my former car. My new vehicle has been superb, and I have had no issues at all with it.

We've bought our 4th vehicle from Eric and his staff and have always had great luck! The quality of the vehicles are great and the service is top notch! I have recommended them to friends who have bought vehicles from them too! Friendly and knowledgeable...if they don't have what your looking for on the lot they can find!

I'd like to thank Dodgeville Auto for the service provided to me over the past few years. Eric's team listened to what I needed for a vehicle, found the right car and offer a fair price on both the car and my trade. Whenever I've needed service, I've been able to get my car in the shop in a timely manner and have gotten the car back as promised, with no issues.
