Every time my father-in-law travels with my fiancee and I from MN to WI it's "Abbyland this" and "Abbyland that". We finally made a stop in to see what's up and I used the restroom there. It's evident the facilities are nice accommodations for truckers and travelers. I also heard a specialized message on the PA system specific to Abbyland, so I suppose they've got something good going to hire on voice talent to make something like that. Everyone was pleasant and I'll be singing praises for Abbyland from now on too. 5 stars from me!

still gave 2 stars for the friendly waitress. She was pleasant. The breakfast buffet was horrible. Pretty bad when my boys wouldn't eat it, they usually will eat anything. The meat had a funny taste and the bacon was not cooked. It as my daughters birthday and she picked the curtiss truckstop restaurant. Never had any experience quite like this. Sad to say this will be our last trip to the truckstop restaurant.

Cashier was HORRIBLE! ZERO personality and very rude. Place is nice but wow the short, younger heavy set girl Feb 22 at 10:30pm is awful. It's a fedex fuel stop but I think I'll stick to Kwik Trips, a lot nicer

I hardly ever get excited about a truck stop, but Im GLAD I trusted reviews on the "Trucker Path" app and came here!!! It is 8pm on a Thursday and there is still PLENTY of parking, and inside was even better. The diner had the best "Hot Beef", Ive literally had country-wide (and Ive been to all mainland states but Rhode Island), and the store couldve ran me $1000 with everything I wanted to buy. There is also a Mexican Buffet across the street that Ive heard is yummy, but I havent tried it.Im fluffy, so I thought the shower stall itself was kind of small, BUT, it was one of THE CLEANEST showers Ive ever had on the road, and $8(!!!!!). The HOT water and water pressure were also on point. Ill be back for sure!

Wasn't overly impressed with baby back rib special, but the salad bar was very nice with two choice soups. Bakery items looked good.

What a wonderful truck stop. Plenty of space for semis and other vehicles. Huge selection of food and other stuff in the store. Plus they have a restaurant if you aren't in a rush. Bathroom was pretty clean for as busy as it was. Cashier wore masks and were fast and friendly. First time stopping there but would gladly stop again.

Great place to stop. Convenience store has most of what you need...especially CHEESE CURDS. Hot case food is meh. Plenty of parking.

Always like to stop here. Good premade food. Cashiers are always friendly. Pump first then go inside to pay.

Just awesome!! the people, working here are so humble they understand the meaning of good customer service skills. I am a truck driver we visit many trucks stops across country but this place takes the 5 starts food is good affordable. Just awesome!

Our waitress did greet us with a smile and was polite. Our appetizer came out 2 minutes before our meal did. We had mozzarella sticks. They were still cold in the center. Then a Cuban with fries and chicken Alfredo. The Cuban did not taste okay. Meat tasted old and dry. The fries tasted freezer burnt. The Alfredo was plain and not enough sauce to coat the noodles and chicken. Did not taste good. We needed silverware for the Alfredo as we were not given any. Our waitress grabbed silverware off a dirty table to give us. A family was in the dining, and had complained about the wait. They were there a little before us. And they didn't get their food until we were about to leave. Over an hour. The customers were upset about the wait and made the server aware, (same server we had). She argued back and said you did not even wait an hour. Continued to argue with the man and then just left them. She was yelling and complaining about them immediately after to her co workers. But right out front where all of us could hear. Very unprofessional. The soup and the coffee were the only highlights we had. Very good soup and coffee. As she handed us our bill, she gave us a performance review with nothing to fill it out with. And no pens were available anywhere. We do not like to argue or make situations worse, so we left quietly and paid our bill in full. But we will not be returning as this isn't the only bad experience here we've had.

I wish I could get the one lady to smile, eventually I will!! Otherwise, I love coming to this place. Just found out about the restaurant part. I'm super excited to try.

A great place to stop for trucks , lots of parking . Open 24 hrs. Clean bathrooms, store well stocked and lots to choose from. Restaurant, very good food , not open 24 hrs.

me and my daughter went to eat there recently i ordered the biscuits and gravy which tasted like gravy from a can was aweful biscuits was a little hard my 14 year old daughter ordered the stuffed french toast and the waitress asked if she wanted whip cream and strawberrys she said yes mind that the waitress never said its a up charge for that over $3 and i mentioned it to her like wth and she didnt care at all i didnt even eat the biscuits n gravy was disgusting. we ended up paying almost $17 for the stuffed french toast crazy never will return again

You can also wash here for free if you buy 50 gallons of diesel fuel. And if you buy a shower ticket for 8 dollars, it is inexpensive, for example, at other gas stations it costs 15 dollars.

I'm not a huge fan of their food. I find it very bland.Fueling is frustrating if you need DEF also. Must move the truck to a separate lane.

We stop here a lot and usually love it. Three servers today were eating putting their hand in their mouth to eat bacon and never washing their hands before serving food to everyone. The manager said absolutely nothing to me when I handed her the comment card. The food also took a very long time.

This was my 2nd time stopping here and this is yet the best truck stop I've been to in a long time.. Nice people... CLEAN SHOWERS $8.... lots of parking.... Restaurant has the best food and an amazing buffet on the weekends a must try if you're in the area passing through the people here are so nice and courteous they really know how to express good customer service....

Grateful for the travel center on 29 with everything! Great cheap food, fuel, supplies, and friendly staff. Bonus points for dog walking area!

Parked here for a reset, they have delicious cheese cakes and quality fresh hot food. Also there s a Mexican restaurant next door. One of the best truck stops out there. Also the employees were friendly!

Tons of parking. A wonderful store with all sorts of local items. I bought apple pie filler, cherry jam, strawberry rhubarb jam, creamed honey(?). High ceilings, warm atmosphere. Nive restaurant. And...very clean restrooms. A home run in my book and a great break from all the cookie cutter , souless Loves truckstops I have to go to.

Ordered the special for $12.99, and it came with mashed potatoes and gravy, they were out of mashed potatoes so suggested fries, we got the fries and asked for a side of gravy, and we were charged $16.99 for each special plus $2.99 for gravy. So an additional $14 for 2 meals. The manager was rude and told us the menu mentioned the upcharge. We ordered off the special and the waiter had taken our menus before she told us about the mash, and she certainly didn't mention the additional price. Sad, the food and service were good, but the management was terrible. Ate at 7:30pm on 9/13/23.Edit to add: Thank you for the response I appreciate it, and yes after about a half an hour of back and forth with who we thought was the manager, she first offered us a $4 discount on the total tab, then finally took off the upcharge for the fries we didn't want, she eventually settled on just the additional gravy. We paid because we had to go. Abbyland is a great place, I hope you can find employees to match, the waitress was good, refund the gravy and give it to her, but please let her know to be upfront about an upcharge especially one that is 60% of the meal price, and as for the other girl, she should not be in customer service.

Every table was dirty when we walked in. Waitress is like oh would you like me to clean that? Well duh I'd sure hope so. Our waitress sat and ate while there were tables that could of been cleaned. We sat next to a table that had 8 seats and it sat there dirty the entire time kinda gross if you ask me.

If you like a good truck stop with a sit down restaurant, then put on that turn signal when you're coming up to exit 127. Good restaurant with a great convenience store too. My favorite stop in the region!
