Jeff's is the most honest place i've been in 25 years. My family has been in cudahy since 1975. We have always went to jeffs. I take my personal gmc and my wifes denali here. I also bring my 3500 and 4500 chevy dually diesel work trucks here. Our office manger takers her dodge minivan here as well. We love it from big to small Jeffs takes care good care of the locals :)

Jeff automotive is by far The best garage I ve ever been to. John, the owner has done anything from transmission replacements to complete motor replacements for me, and every time there is zero hassle, and everything works as it should!If you re looking for some of the most knowledgeable mechanics, there are, and most importantly, honest. Look no further than Jeff s automotive. John s has my business until I m too old to drive and I will send all of my friends and family his way!My Raptor is for attention, but it also has a brand new motor in it. Thanks to John and Jeff s Automotive!

We took our F150 black ops truck to be repaired. They finished it in a extremely fast manner. The service mechanics are top-notch, and are extremely helpful. They took extra care of our truck, which we really loved as well. They treated us like family. We definitely will be taking all of our business to Jeffs, Automotive . 10 stars.

I have been going to Jeff's Automotive since we moved across the street 3 years ago. Everything from regular oil changes, tire rotations, fixing flats to installing amazing headlights on my Jeep Wrangler. They never try and upsell you things that you don't need, and never make you feel like an idiot when you ask questions. The owner JB is a fair and honest guy, and that is truly hard to find nowadays especially in a mechanic. Mike at the front desk is always pleasant and rather funny on occasion. If you are looking for a reliable, honest, local mechanic I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try. I know I won't go anywhere else.

Paid $160 for an evap diagnostic smoke test. I asked them to mark the leak and quote the repair. They said my charcoal canister was cracked and quoted me $1,000 - They didn't mark the leak, and the problem turned out to be a 30 cent o-ring, and I've passed emissions. Not sure if incompetent or sheisters, but does it really matter which?

Me and my family have always had our vehicles fixed at Jeff s. The mechanics are friendly and do quality work. I recently brought in my 76 nova that was sitting in a garage for 25 years. the engine was shot and did not run and the mechanic personally ordered a brand new engine and installed it for me as a wanted. Then after he personally drove over the old engine and delivered it to my house. I appreciate someone who goes above and beyond for their customers and I would recommend them to anyone.

Only place in area that would do emissions test in drizzle rain. Thank you! I was impressed with the size & what looked like many very busy mechanics throughout the garages. Not a small place that only works on one or two cars at a time. Nice to find a friendly efficient place nearby if needed!

Jeff is a very rude dude who doesn t care if his customers are safe on the road or not . He would rather not listen to customers concerns at all with their vehicle and just rather make a quick buck. Avoid at all costs.

Called to schedule an appointment for emissions, he told me no appointment needed and to just go in between 9 am and 4 pm. I showed up and was in and out in 15 minutes! The man was a little rough around the edges but other than that it was fast good service.

3 major things have gone wrong in a matter of weeks. Jeff's was there, even last minute, to get me back on the road. Great place to go for oil changes and no wait on emissions.

This about the third or fourth time I have taken one of our vehicles to Jeff's. Always good service at a fair price for the work. Owner has always taken the time to explain what is needed and answered all questions. I have always gotten a detailed estimate. This last time the work was less then the estimate because some parts came in at a lower cost. They did a thorough job and gave me a good deal, but it did take a LONG time to get my oil changed. There seemed to only be a couple guys working and they were doing several jobs at once. So good on them, but it just took a long time since I was waiting.

I love coming to this place. These guys know what you re doing to get the job done quick if you don t know how to get your car there because it needs to be towed they will handle that for you.

TEN STARS!Jeff's Auto came through when Ewald failed miserably. After two weeks of waiting for Ewald to fix my car, I got fed up and called Jeff's. A FORD dealership could not get a FORD part.... Jeff's had the part in like 30 minutes and my car fixed in like 36 hours... it was AMAZING!!They were straight with me the whole time, called me with an unprompted update, and I never had to leave a message and wait for them....A professional experience. I made the mistake of believing the internet forums and taking it to the dealership... ooooof!Huge lesson learned... Jeff has been our family's go to mechanic for years. I have never once had a bad experience and often times Jeff will show and explain to me just what is wrong with my car. His prices are reasonable and he would never recommend to do something that isn't necessary. I will never trust another mechanic with our vehicles as much as Jeff.

I took my vehicle to Jeff per his reputation on Angie's list, which I informed the secretary when I called. I let them know that I needed my injector unit replaced, and wanted to tow in my vehicle as it would not start due to sitting in the cold. After it was towed in, Jeff called to say he would replace the fuel pump and the filter for 1000$, and assured me that my vehicle would be working that afternoon. Again, I said that it needed the injector replaced, which he then said "looked good" and "didn't need to be replaced". So, on his word I begrudgingly accepted the high total, just to get my vehicle back the same day.This was not to be.Around 4pm, Jeff called to tell me that the injector needed to be replaced, and he was going to charge me $700 more. I told him I would call him back in 5 minutes to discuss with my husband. Neither of us were happy at this point, as we had both told him it was the injector. So when I called back a few moments later, Jeff was "gone for the day". So we had to wait overnight, and stopped in the next morning to speak with Jeff in person.Jeff changed his story 4 times, denied that either of us had told him about the injector, claimed that we "lied". He continued to berate us and swear at us, would not accept that he was wrong and would not work something out. He said we either had to pay or he would take our car apart and leave it in the parking lot. I said this was unacceptable, and he should take me to court. At this point, we asked for our keys back and he said no- he was "keeping the car".My husband went to the vehicle in the lot to see if it worked (we have 2 sets of keys) and called the police as he approached the vehicle. Jeff then ran over and had his guys block the vehicle in, threatened my husband etc. The police arrived and Jeff was still offering to take apart the vehicle in the lot, and I told the police that I did not trust him touch my vehicle again. I offered to pay for parts and Jeff finally was swayed by the police to accept the deal.Long story short- I was ripped off, My vehicle ran the exact same way it had before I towed it to Jeff, but my wallet was hundreds of dollars lighter.

If your looking for an honest and fair price this is the place to go. VERY clean and well organized the customer service is helpful. The owner is actually there and working unlike some other places. Have taking my car for a new exhaust and new brake system (both on different occasions) very SATISFIED!!

Friendly, fair and reliable. I've been going to them for 20 some odd years and they've always done right by me. They also took Great care with my elderly parents when they were in need of repairs.

They were great. I thought I needed front brakes and back. They were honest by saying I only needed back brakes. The price was very affordable too.

Jeff is rude and condescending towards women. If you're female, save yourself from a demeaning experience and take your vehicle somewhere else.

Great place with great service. The auto techs work hard to keep your car running and the repair costs reasonable. Established in 1999... this is one place that you can definitely trust.
