I can t say enough good things about these guys! Got a used car from them in December, the process was really simple and straightforward and I didn t feel like anyone was trying to talk me into anything which was great 3 months down the road it started displaying some major issues, I won t go into the details but Farris Auto seriously pulled through for me. The warranty technically had expired by the time I brought it to them but due to the circumstances they ended up doing the repair completely free of charge which is even better than what the warranty was supposed to cover! I will never buy a used car anywhere else and I strongly recommend doing business with these folks. Thank you!!!

My fianc� and I went to Farris Auto to get a new car after mine was totaled. We chose to go here because from the get go, even over the phone, John was honest, upfront, and made us feel secure. On arrival, we worked with Chris and test drove two vehicles. Chris was amazing, honest, and genuine. We felt no pressure to make a decision which is SO DIFFERENT from other car places. Chris answered any and all questions we had with great knowledge. We ended up buying a car and could not be happier.Just to show how honest these guys are: I got a cashiers check for $0.50 over what they were asking as we were leaving, Chris flagged me down and handed me fifty cents!Can t recommend Farris Auto enough!

BEST car buying experience EVER! Super easy, helpful, knowledgeable, GREAT selection, fair prices, and NO PRESSURE. No dealer fees, no hidden costs, totally up front, helpful, and honest. And they are so nice!! I never left a car dealership before wishing we were friends...but Cole at Farris is the coolest guy ever! GO TO FARRIS--they're the best Subaru dealer imaginable (plus they've got other cars, of course!). Thank you, Farris Auto, and THANK YOU, Cole!!

The best ever!!!I've made 67 revolutions around the sun, thus far and have purchased probably more than my fair share of vehicles, both private and dealers. Some of those experiences were much less than favorable. However, having dealt with the family at Farris, my experience has been THE most pleasant I've ever had!!! Had a great time with the nephew, Cole, in Stoughton but, couldn't settle on a car there. Went to Cottage Grove and Chris, Jon and Gerard (brothers) showed me and my GF what a good experience should be like!!! Found a car I really liked and they made sure to treat me like royalty! I feel that I didn't just buy a vehicle but also bought into the family! I could not be happier! I not only recommend trying them out but, sincerely encourage stopping out before purchasing a vehicle anywhere else! Well done, guys! Thank so very much!Update: So, I originally said I was happy with the way I was treated at Farris when I purchased the vehicle. Fast forward a couple weeks and I found myself with a relatively minor but important issue with my "new" car. Long story short, the Farris gents went above and beyond to take care of the issue, even though it wasn't even covered on the 90-day warranty! I'm not happy...I'm ecstatic!!! Thanks guys! You flat out ROCK!!!

Family business with Friendly feel.Went to test drive a manual transmission 2014 subaru forester, bought it on the spot and drove home with it. Chris made the whole experience easy, with NO PRESSURE at any time from him or his two brothers. Also nice to buy directly from the guy who had his hands under the hood of the car. I'm not a car guy but they were so forthcoming with all the information the had on the car that I really had very little questions. I've driven a number of 10+ year old subarus to know right away upon turning the key that they had this car Dialed In! And I trust that if anything happened to come up with it, they would help me out and not give me the run around.Recommend Beyond 5 Stars!

Dad approved! John and Cole worked with my daughter to get her into her first adult car. I felt completely comfortable with the quality of vehicles they had. I have complete trust in this dealership and highly recommend checking them out.

What honest service? No hidden fees? Reliable, experienced mechanics? Friendly sales men who won't pressure you into a buy but want what's best for you? Yeah? Go to Farris Auto. Ask for Shawn. You won't be disappointed. I'm thrilled with my experience here and even more happy with my Subaru!

Happy to work with this company.I was searching for a quality car after the one i was driving got totaled. I found a used toyota that they had on the lot. It wasn't a show car, but it has been nothing but mechanically rock solid. when a wheel bearing went out after the warranty, they worked with me and gave me 1/2 off for the total bill! they didn't have to do it, but they went ahead and did it anyways. I was really impressed with their willingness to answer questions about a old Toyota after I already purchased the car. Most companies wouldn't even give me the time of day after a sale!There is a great team that runs this place and I would be happy to buy another car from them.

I had a great experience buying a Subaru from Shawn at Farris Auto. They have the friendliest and most knowledgeable team, the best prices, and a great no-pressure buying experience. Once they helped me find the perfect fit, the rest of the process was seamless. They're honest people, and I was more than happy to give my business to them now, and will in the future!It was a pleasure getting to know Shawn and Gerard, and hear about the Farris' small family run business. They're the nicest people you will meet, and they have the experience working on these vehicles to back them up. I also greatly appreciated the honest advice going forward about servicing, warranties, how to be a good owner, and aftermarket things to better take care of your vehicle.

Best car buying experience EVER!! My husband and I purchased a 2014 Honda Odyssey from Farris and we LOVE it. Shawn was extremely helpful and went above and beyond for us! He made the entire process very quick and simple and always had our best interest at heart. We have a 2 year old and a newborn and Shawn insured everything was done before picking up our new family van so we were in and out in 5 minutes - it was amazing! Jon and Gerard were also super nice and they definitely have the small town feel at Farris where you know you will be treated like family and not just another customer. We look forward to working with them in the future and HIGHLY recommend going to them for all your car buying/servicing needs! :)

Was sent to Farris by another small car dealer who said they were the best if you're looking for a Subaru. Found a car that was perfect for our need and price range as well as a nice color in good condition. Shawn could not say enough about the great care the mechanics take of these vehicles. He put in for financing and had the paperwork done when we came back the next day. Was very happy to spend minimal time on paperwork and driving our new (to us) car home.

The folks at Farris Auto are some of the nicest, most genuine people I've met. From the moment my mom and I walked up, they were very kind and immediately offered to let us drive the vehicle we were interested in. Unlike some of the local dealerships, they were upfront and honest about the process of purchasing a car from them and I could tell that they genuinely wanted me to be happy with my purchase. I can't say enough positive things about Farris Auto and am looking forward to having my car serviced with them before I leave for a cross-country road trip.

John was so nice and went above and beyond my expectations! The service team are great! I ve always purchased new vehicles, so I wasn t sure what I was getting into, but the team at Farris made my experience awesome, I m very pleased with my used Outback Subaru, and look forward to returning in a few years to trade up for a newer one. Very trustworthy folks! Very impressed and already referred my friends to go there!

We loved Farris Auto! They were easy to work with and we didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of like we have in the past while trying to buy used cars. The work they do is extremely thorough. We bought a Subaru from them and they have a Subaru mechanic working on site! They were up front and honest about all the work that had been done and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a new (used) car :)

Very knowledgeable on Subaru and Toyota. Repair pricing beats all competition. They have great inventory on Subaru and Toyota. I got at great trade in deal on my 2010 Forester towards a completely refurbished 2010 Forester. Shawn and John provide great customer service and the owners provide great pricing and deals!NewWe were so pleased with our purchase of the Forester that we decided to purchase a second vehicle from Farris. The Farris team work so well together to provide an excellent sales and service experience.

A dealership that made purchasing a vehicle as quick and painless as possible. They have great vehicles at great prices. On top of that, their response time and care is second to none. I highly recommend checking them out. Ask for Cole.

I bought a 09 Subaru Forester about 2 months ago and I love it. After looking at a few different places I saw Farris Auto had listed one and it turned out to be the one for me. They had just replaced the brakes and numerous other parts. They were straight up in explaining the issues Foresters have around 100,000 miles and replaced the needed parts prior to me buying. Both gentlemen I interacted with were extremely knowledgeable in their respective jobs and made the buying process stress free. They even filled up my car up with gas before I left. I highly recommend Farris to anyone looking for Subaru s or any cars they are selling in their lot. If I find myself getting a car sometime down the line Farris will be the first place I look.

Farris Auto did an excellent job helping me to upgrade to a newer Subaru. I found a car on their lot not quite ready for sale. They had it ready for me in under a week with a ton of work and cleaning done to it. I felt confident buying the car after seeing how much pride they take in their vehicles, both cosmetic and mechanical. Shawn got me preapproved for a loan with my preferred bank in under 10 minutes. Then once the car was ready for pick they had all of the paperwork ready to go. All I had to do was listen and sign on dotted line! The guys at Farris Auto are great. Check them out. You ll be glad you did!!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Farris Auto for years. In this day and age it s difficult to say you trust anyone 100% let alone a mechanic. I trust Gerard and Jon 100%!! I could go on for a long time about how incredible they are but no need the people in Cottage Grove know the truth. You get the truth from these guys all of the time. I just hope they never leave the area!Today we bought our first car from them and again an amazing experience. They have brought in a salesman, Shawn Stittleburg. He brings 17 years of experience and it shows. He answered all of our questions and we never felt pressured. I can t say enough good things about Farris!! My daughter and I had a great experience buying her first car!!Thanks again!!Brian and Katelyn

We've bought 2 Subarus from Farris and upon our recommendation two other friends have also done the same. All of us have been ridiculously happy with the experience. Today they helped my daughter buy her first car. The experience couldn't have been better and the price was fantastic. Farris is my go-to Subaru dealer.

Farris Auto is a great place to get your next used car! Shawn is really easy to work with and helped me find the perfect car after spending a few weeks getting it lined up. The buying process is super quick and they do great work to make sure that your car is set up for a long life. I'm so glad that my first Subaru came from these guys!

Shawn (Sean?) was FANTASTIC. I bought my Forester from Farris and it was the most causal, no-pressure, comfortable car-searching experience I've had. Shawn went above and beyond to make me feel in control and confident in my experience, and was flexible with my crazy schedule for test drives, purchasing, and pick ups. The car itself is in great shape and Farris Auto did updates pre-sale (without me even having to request) that Subaru dealers across the state wouldn't even consider for me! I am truly pleased with this experience and definitely will be a return customer.

Just had a wonderful experience with Farris Auto purchasing my new-to-me Prius. Shawn was very helpful and knowledgeable, and made the whole process quick and simple. I'd also like to shout out John and Gerard for going out of their way to find and program an extra key fob for me. I was very pleased how willing Shawn was to work with me. I was very impressed in their honesty, showing you what they do to each car they have. I think what they are better than getting a car from a dealer because they make sure the engine is taken care of by putting a new head gasket , timing belt, tires and anything else the car needs. I like that they give you a warranty and what they sell. I highly recommend Farris Auto Sales and Service.
