Why do we even have auto parts stores anymore..?.. I tryed to get a thermostat for my 2012 toyota prius and none with in a 100 mi of me.. I could order it and get itTuesday or I could order it from rockauto for 1/3 the price and get it Tuesday.. so I ask agian why do auto parts store still exist? Usless.. this is not the first time or part for the prius you don't have.. it's sad man..

I've been coming to this store for years and after the new manager has taken over this store I will no longer do business with this store they wont warrenty the parts out, bad service. Also don't know what they are talking about.

Won't purchase from Advance again. Ordered online to pick up at this location for an in-stock item. Went way out of the way, arrived at 6:30 on a Friday night, and they are closed. All standing outside talking. They said they closed at 6. Hours are until 9. Vehicle is apart and can't get the parts. All other auto parts are open.

Friendly staff, usually best prices in town. If you order online and your local store has the parts, you can usually pick up order in about an hour and website frequently has deals (ex: 20% off your order) with promo code

First class service don't push parts you don't need and help if you're on a budget. Travis is the guy to see he's knowledgeable and a pleasant guy to work with

Tyler at this location was so helpful! We ran into alternator issues on vacation with our kids and he walked us through replacing it. He was very patient, knowledgeable and customer service oriented.

Most of the staff is very knowledgeable! Occasionally you'll get one that looks at you weird if you ask a part by a different name than they it it as. Would like to see more of a selection diy tools and hardware. But otherwise good service

Returned an intermittently, defective "Lifetime Warranty" alternator for a replacement with the receipt (13 months old, looks like brand new). Explained to the employee that the alternator has left me stranded twice, alternator works sometimes, but most of the time it does not (especially when cold). I installed a digital voltmeter right next to the cigarette lighter in the car right after the first time it left me stranded (and just started working again the next day), so I can monitor the vehicle voltage. With the digital voltmeter, I can tell exactly when the alternator stops working. When they bench tested the alternator in the heated building after being taken out of my heated backup car it bench tested fine. And they said they cannot do anything about it. One of the employees blamed it on an oil leak causing the belt to slip. How did you determine that genius? Not a spec of oil on the alternator, the car doesn't have an oil leak (he didn't see the car anyway) and it doesn't burn oil. As a matter of fact, it looked almost brand new because it was only 13 months old and we rarely drive this car. Talk about pulling a lame excuse out of your a**hole. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to realize that these "Lifetime Warranty" replacement parts are rebuilt with cheap, China components and that the parts stores are banking on you loosing your receipt or getting rid of the vehicle before the part fails. And yes, they will fail way before a quality OEM part. I have had this same issue occur 3 times on another rebuilt "Lifetime Warranty" alternator that I purchased many years ago from O'Reilly auto parts. They warrantied it every single time, no questions asked. Sorry for interrupting your smoke break right in front of the store jacka**! If I could leave a negative review I would. I will never shop at Advance Auto Parts again, especially the Chippewa Falls, WI location!!!!
