Steve was recommended to me by my son who used him on a spur of the moment issue he was having with his vehicle, and was very satisfied and impressed with him. Recently our vehicle needed some engine work and I contacted Steve. Steve was able to get to it very quickly, explained everything he was going to do and what we should expect when he was finished. It is apparent Steve is very knowledgeable, customer service oriented, down to earth and easy going. In addition, and this is for any veteran reading this, he graciously gives a veterans discount! He is definitely going to get our business! Give him a try, I don t think you ll be disappointed.

My '03 Land Cruiser broke down in Shawano, WI on a Sunday during a Packer game. I Googlemapped "auto repair" and saw Steve's had 5 stars. Not only did he answer the phone, within an hour he had it towed to his place in Cecil, diagnosed the problem, and estimated when it would be fixed on Monday. It was a 6.3-hour task, so he started taking it apart. On Sunday night.Steve called me on Monday morning and recommended additional service, but said he couldn't get to it until later in the week. It was obvious he knows a *ton* about the J100 Land Cruiser (98-07), and had created such a deep trust that I wanted him to do the work. Since there are no car rentals in Shawano, the only way for that to happen was to rent a UHaul truck to dive 4 hours back to Minneapolis. I'll probably have to do the same thing to pick it up. I feel like it's worth it.Overall just a terrific experience and I hope to have him work on my truck again under better circumstances. Thanks, Steve!

Steve saved our vacation! We were hauling a travel trailer and broke down on Sunday. I was able to drive to his shop and he diagnosed it in about five minutes, on Sunday! He ordered a part and was able to fix it in an hour the next day. I would recommend Steve to anyone that needs repairs. His prices are great, very knowledgeable, friendly, and competent! I've known Steve for a short amount of time. Was told about steve from a family member. I have brought two different vehicles to him. He was able to fit me in when I needed something done, and it's done in a timely matter. This guy knows his stuff. Tells you what actually needs to be fixed and gives insight on what that does. Steve is very fair on price, and brings A1 service. Ill continue to go through Steve to get repairs done.Check out his shop!!

My car broke down in Cecil. Steve was able to get me in immediately. The fix was fairly simple, but the important thing to me was his willingness to get me back on the road so quickly.

Steve is the most knowledgeable, responsive and professional mechanic. I place my highest level of trust in him, especially after another mecha to replace brake lines which crumbled in Steve s hands due to rust. This likely saved the life of me and my disabled mother. Steve has grown his business to serve a wide variety of people with respect and a strong drive to help others. He is fair, honest and will explain car issues clearly.

Steve has always had time to squeeze me in, he's very positive and makes sure I understand what's going on. He has done a lot of work on my vehicle, starting with a turbocharge assembly, knock sensor, couple small things I can't remember the names of, replaced all 4 tires, done my oil changes, has checked my breaks, a transmission flush. He's fair, negotiates, communicates, doesn't leave you in the dust.I don't have many people to call for a ride to just drop my car off, and his patience is amazing with my 2 kids if they have to be there with me.These photos are taken in his shop while he repaired a flat the same night it happened.Anytime my check engine light has come on while driving, he tells me; "bring it in, we'll get it checked out"He's my go to.The only thing I've found that he doesn't do yet is an alignment. Steve has been amazing. I won t bring my Audi A6 or BMW 650 anywhere else. He is honest, hard working, and fairly priced. He did a complete gasket and vacuum rebuild on my 2005 BMW. It is and always has been my baby, so I wanted to keep it up to date. Steve has been truthful and honest on everything he has done for me. Also fixed issues the big guy in Appleton messed up. Love the independent entrepreneur.

I came to Steve with my newly-acquired vehicle: everything assessed and a little bit of this and that addressed! I can only concur with all the praise already given Steve s repair is expert, indeed. A1 service, never had better: timely, available and communicative, so thorough and conscientious, just nice - strikes you as real salt of the earth! Glad to have found him.

I have been bringing my vehicle to Steve for 10 years and I won't bring it to anybody else. He has pinpoint and diagnosed any of my vehicle problems I have ever had. He takes his time to find the problem and will explain exactly what is going on and will give you a great cost along with top of the line quality work. I love Steve's he's a pretty nice guy and tells you what you need to hear (rather it be good or bad news) and doesn't beat around the bush. Me and a friend of mine have been having trouble with our cruze and he's been a big help. If you ever need anything on your car done Steve is your guy

Steve's been my number 1 mechanic since the first day I met him. Very chill down to earth. Takes wonderful care of your vehicle. I'm very confident in Steve's work I always drive home smiling. I live in green bay I dive almost 45 mins to Steve's expert repair just to ensure my car is handled with care that should tell you alot. Did not want to replace a bad part in my daughters car that was covered under warranty. Tried contacting him for 2 MONTHS to get work done. Only contacted me back when I mentioned going through the court system! Now he tells me to never contact him again or come there again. Very unprofessional and a waste of time.Update: court is a magical word used to get people like you to honor your promises. You installed a part knowing it was defective, what "expert" does that? Your really trying hard to spin the narrative that I used the magical word because you didn't answer the phone on 5/31. I have been trying to get in contact with you for a replacement part for 60 days, that's 2 MONTHS. Now you tell me to never contact you again or come to your shop again if you replace a warranty part. How unprofessional is thatl! You consider the court process a threat do you? I've been having Steve service my vehicles since before he even had this shop! Everything from Benzes to giant box trucks. He always does good honest work, doesn't cut corners, and knows how to fix everything. He's not always the cheapest mechanic in town but the fact that he can get you up and running the same day and during times when every other shop is closed, the value of working with him is top notch. He helps a lot of out of town people (lake tourism nearby) with sudden car troubles get back on the road ASAP. No other mechanic will do that at dinner time on a weekend! Always super responsive and uses good parts.

We are so grateful that Steve fit us in on a Sunday afternoon to fix our brakes! We were traveling through this beautiful area of Wisconsin when our brakes made a grinding noise as we pulled out of a gas station. Kind people working at the Walmart tire service suggested we talk to the folks at O Reilley s in Shawano, who then called Steve for us. Steve, a friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working young man, spent several hours replacing our rotors, calipers, and brake pads on both front tires. While he worked on our truck, we took a walk along the scenic country lane, and, were entertained by his two colorful goats! We made it back to Minnesota Sunday night with no other problems, and feel fortunate to have been directed to Steve s Expert Repair shop! Thank you!Service: Brakes

I contacted Steve through an add he has posted on Craigslist this Memorial Day 2022.Steve replied to my message within the hour of my leaving it.Steve was very plesant, informative & was upfront of the diagnostic costs, which were VERY reasonable!He promptly followed up with me to see when we could get the vehicle to his shop.Being Memorial weekend we had difficulty finding some one to do this.Initially Steve said we could bring it right there and he would have it fixed that day, of for sure the morning after.It was such a Great Experience dealing with a man who is willing to go the Extra Mile in accommodating a potential customer!!STEVES EXPERT REPAIR easily gets a 10thumbs up from me!!
