I was in a rough spot with my exhaust this week. American Muffler was phenomenal! Very professional and honest. They were able to get the work done same day so I could be back to my life asap. I appreciate them so much for the great work and how quickly I was able to get in and out. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who needs some work done.

Originally had them do a muffler delete and make it 2inch pipe from the resonator back. Ended up being to loud and droning like mad. So bought a magnaflow straight through style muffler and helped sooo much. Dallas was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. Will for sure use them in the future.

We stopped in to talk with Tim about installing a muffler we purchased for my Chevy Equinox, and he was able to install it right on the spot at a better price than the 2 other places we stopped at this afternoon. Thank you Tim for the fast and efficient service! It was a pleasure doing service with you and we will be back!

I'm eternally grateful to American Muffler and it's owner Tim Castle and his son. They were nice enough to open my car for me after I accidentally locked them in my car while I was at QuikTrip in Burlington. I don't know what I would have done, if it wasn't for Tim Castle's son who opened up my car for me. We would have been stuck at QuikTrip for god knows how long while waiting for a tow truck from my insurance company to come open up my car. Tim Castle and his son did this for NO cost to me or my insurance company. Thank you guys so much.

Tim and Ken Castle are the best ever in handling auto repairs and have been for us for over 28 years. Their service is the best ever and have treated us both fairly and honestly. My wife and I will always highly recommend them and their fast service.

My husband would give 5 stars he loved the work done on his van. But he isn't giving the review I am. If I could give 0 stars I would. Cindy is so rude and she lies. Just wanted to say hi to someone I know that works there. Now if he didn't want to talk be an adult and come out of back room and tell me to my face. I could clearly see him in the back room. And then Cindy gonna come out and lie and say she can't find him. Sure right. If my husband chooses to keep going here fine. But I will not. And not only that my husband's van is getting loud again. So just shows that it wasn't a good job. I will take my car to performance next to Culver's.

We took our truck in 4 separate times for the same issue(it not starting or attempting to turn over) we spent over a grand and were without the truck for a total of over 2 weeks. They were extremely rude. We asked to speak with the owner and attempted to multiple times with no response from him at any point. We took the truck into Wisco and they found the actual issue the first day it was there and it s been fine. Sad, I have been using them the past almost 6 years and it s been steadily going downhill the past 2 years or so. Good luck to the business and their current customers.

I had my Honda Element's exhaust repaired there today. They were prompt, professional, and wonderful. They showed me what needed to be repaired and came in at the price they mentioned. I thought that I needed more extensive work to be done, which also means quite a bit more to pay. They took the time to point out and explain what actually needed repair and repaired it. My car runs smoothly. It is nerve racking to try to find mechanics that are true to what they say and so honest. Not to mention treating me like a person. I have only encountered a few(honest mechanics) in my over half a century lifetime. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thanks Mrs. Knoll

I needed service on my vehicle and my father had told me he used services with American Muffler and Automotive and was very satisfied. Since this is my only vehicle, it is extremely important to have it running. So my car was taken there and being a busy company, they made time for my vehicle to be diagnosed and repaired. They are very fast, efficient and fair! I highly recommend them! Thank you American Muffler and Automotive!

I originally used them for a muffler, but when I found out they also do car repairs, I have been using them ever since. They are fast, honest, do a great job and try to keep the cost reasonable. Kenny takes the time to explain options and answer any questions. As a single mother who knows little about cars I was feeling very nervous and cautious about where I would take my car in for service. After looking around I decided to give this place a shot and I was not disappointed. The men were very respectful and honest. They went the extra mile to fulfill my needs by picking my car up from my home and returning it when it was finished. Their price was reasonable and fit other quotes I was given by other shops. I have nothing but gratitude to these guys for their professional yet personable service. I'm relieved to have finally found a shop I can trust!

I went to American Muffler for some work on my truck. Everyone there was very friendly and professional! They did a great job and I have since spread the word to others at work and at home to have their car/truck work done by American Muffler. Everyone I have sent there has been very satisfied with their experience as well. They have an excellent reputation for quality work!

Hands down can not be beat. I'm a car guy at heart, but due to my current living situation, I don't have the time nor space to do my own vehicle work. I decided to check out American Muffler on a whim because their advertised rates seemed so affordable. I was extremely pleased with the service and honesty. These guys are passionate about cars and their customers, and the combination of these two make them a very rare breed of mechanic. I would HIGHLY recommend anybody in need of a mechanic to give them a call.

I got my 2008 dodge straight piped. Love the work that they did. My truck sounds great,but now I think I want them to true daul it. Also the price was very reasonable.

As a woman who doesn't know much about cars, the people here have never steered me wrong, done any services I didn't want, or charged me extra for anything. They even do inspections for me for free when I ask. I trust them and appreciate their service.

Brought my nieces vehicle in for an alignment, they found other issues, we rescheduled for the repairs, now my niece says the car is as nice and quiet as when she bought it. Great pricing, Honest Guys, have told all mynon-mechanical children about this place!!

I have had nothing but problems with a car that ran like new prior than having work done at this shop as a result of bringing it there for a simple license plate renewal inspection and having them do the work they recommended be done. I am having my car towed to Lynch today for the 2nd time since they touched my car.

Straight to the point no nonsense auto repair. I feel like they never try to upsell anything. You are not gonna take your car there for an oil change and leave with a $1000.00 invoice..
