Camped with our 40 motorhome pulling trailer and didn t have to disconnect. Loved camp ground built among the trees. Level sites. Good FHU. Friendly staff (Jane). Friendly campers. Many park model home all in excellent condition. Bathhouse exceptional. Very quiet. Mature campers who are friendly. We love this place (our second visit) and will be back for a longer stay. This is what camping (or glamping) is all about.

Camp holiday is an excellent camp ground. Brian and Jennifer as owners are excellent, willing to help as much as they can. Plenty of space in each lot, bathrooms and showers are always clean, an excellent place to stay. In response to Henry Schmitz's comments, #1 he is not from Illinois #2 there is reason he rides around on the golf cart, he looks for kids such as your's who can't follow rules, he looks out for the safety of all campers, so maybe don 't come back if following the rules is too much

Been going here for 20+ years. Not so much these days. New owners very nice but too many motorhomes now rather than tent campers and AC and other noise all night long every night completely destroys the wonderful atmosphere the place used to have... can't even hear the call of the Loon! So sad...

The campground was well maintained. The bathrooms were the best I've ever experienced in a campground. Good showers and freshly cleaned daily. I even witnessed them doing some repairs to the road while we were there. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I would give it 10 stars if possible. I would recommend to anyone staying in the area.

Great place to camp. Wonderful owners. Very helpful with any questions that we have. Above average restrooms that are always super clean. Campers are super friendly. Met lots of nice people on our walks. Love all the areas we can walk and looking forward to the bike trail when completed. For such a large campground it's very peaceful. Just a great place to spend time away from home.

Camp Holiday is a well maintained, beautiful campground. There are a plenty of activities and fun for all ages! The lake in which the campground is situated on, provides a beautiful view, exceptional fishing, and of course ample swimming! The bathroom and shower houses are clean and in good working order. Thank you for and amazing weekend vacation! We will definitely be back to visit soon.

Just returned from a 7-night stay and booked already for next year. What a relaxing stay! We were on #24 overlooking the lake. Great kayaking, loon sightings and the best showers/flush toilets we've ever seen. Just a smidge from the Bike Trail and near everything the Northwoods has to offer!

I miss the previous owners. I have been going to Camp Holiday for years and since the new owners took over a couple years ago, our stay has been less pleasant. One of the owners will drive around in a golf cart and yell at people about any little thing. The previous owners had a nice concession stand in the club house serving coffee in the morning and hot food throughout the day, the new owners now just sell pizza and ice cream. I went to grab a soda from the fridge in the store and noticed most of them were expired. We will be looking for another campground in the area.

We have been campers for nearly 50 years and have camped all over the great state of Wisconsin and I m afraid to say that Camp Holiday was our least favorite place to stay. The campground itself is wonderful, it s the owners who have ruined the camping experience. Absolutely no people skills, rude, arrogant and doesn t understand what it takes to run a successful business. If you choose to stay there, stay as far away from the owners as possible although they will be driving around looking for things to yell about! You have been warned!

Clean bathrooms nice people at 10 is quite time but the campground is quiet all day long. Also has a fun free game room for the kids and a water trampoline for the lake. Cool place plenty of trees and a great lake to explore.

This is one of the most beautiful campgrounds we've ever experienced! It was like camping in the northern woods of Wisconsin. The restrooms were immaculate....I honestly looked for dirt....none to be found...in a public facility!!! Now that's unusual!! The owners and campers are extremely helpful and friendly!

One of our favorite camping spots! Great fishing, swimming and the staff are so polite. They've upgraded the playground equipment and have nice facilities, too. I use the laundry facilities for our long trip in the summer.

Wonderful campground.very kind staff. We have been coming here for more than 25 yrs because it is such a quiet campground. Well spaced sites with mature canopy trees. They have a nice beach on a small lake that rewards even the smallest of fishermen with a fish. Very nice great room with ice cream &pizza along with a game room with billard tables. If thats to fast for you, grab a puzzle and sit down for an afternoon of fun with friends. Thank you to all the staff at camp Holiday!

Great campground. Spotless bathroom and laundry facilities. Generous spacing between sites. Lots of shade from mature pines.Hanging baskets of flowers greet you on your way in. The care of the owners and those that volunteer to help out is apparent. The only negative are the dirt pads, but a small thing with so much that is positive.

Wonderful location, clean showers and bathrooms. Campers are mostly families. We loved it and coming back. We are tent campers, whereas most of the campers have trailers. But the trailers are quiet, with just a low hum of their AC. Dog friendly.

Very nice clean place to camp with great owners and a picturesque lake with a sand beach to enjoy. The kids especially enjoyed the new Rainbow playset and playground and the water trampoline! We'll be back.

Been camping at Camp Holiday for years and had a great time. The new owners are terrible, bad interactions from everyone in our group. I would look elsewhere. From what I hear, a lot of seasonal familys have pulled out. A guy in our group was yelled at, by the owners, for waving at another camper as he passed by. I cannot stress enough how terrible the new owners are. They should not be in the leisure and recreation business. Will not camp here again.

This is the cleanest park I have even been to. The handicap bathroom was a very nice surprise and it was so clean . The part like setting is awesome! Our site was large and quite even though the road went by it. Our neighbors were all very respectful and welcoming. We easily give this park and all of it's employee's 5 stars. The only thing I can say that could be improved would be the access to the beach for handicap people like myself. Maybe have a parking space or two down there.

We were here for 2 weeks with family. A large property with seasonal campers, tents and short term campers. Really nice place. We used the clean swimming beach frequently. There is a small playground also. Rented the peddle boat, they also have canoes and rowboats. Very quiet at night. The owners are very attentive.

I'll start off by saying that we normally go to state forest campground in this area. We might not have come here if the state campground we go to was open (this is 2020 and because of COVID-19).Having said that, this is a very close experience to that. Much less foliage between sites than is like, but more trees than you'd see at a typical RV park. The staff and owners have been very friendly. The bathroom/shower house is clean, stocked, and fresh. They offer firewood on site as well as some convenience items (food, beer, soda, etc.) and ice cream with a grill for burgers and such. The location is good for those who want to fish at area lakes plus the lake on-site is great for kayaking. Also very close to the Heart of Vilas bike trail (roughly 2 miles away).Online reservation process is a little odd, but we were assigned to a nice site. Neighbors that are in seasonal sites were quiet and friendly. Quiet hour at 10pm was observed by most, but no one was a bother to us.I'd stay here again.

Excellent campground with a ton of amenities, wish they would enforce the quiet times. Some very loud campers across from our site. Nice clean bathrooms and even showers. The camp sites were large and the general store was nice along with the staff

Awesome campground with something for everyone. Located on a small lake in beautiful surroundings. Super friendly owners and staff. Camp sites aren't crowded like other similar campgrounds, can accommodate any type of camping gear you have. Bath houses are kept amazingly clean at all hours, which is difficult to do considering the size of the campground.

Owners were very pleasant and full of information about the area. The lake was lovely and our campsite was great. It was close to one of the numerous dumpsters, clean bathroom/shower, and excellent laundry facilities. Would recommend and return.

First visit, tight quarters where they placed us. Lots of other great sites to choose from! Very clean, well maintained campground, with very friendly staff and permanent site residents! Close to awesome and scenic bike trails! Plenty of fish to be caught too! Would definitely consider more visits!

The campground was beautiful and the restrooms and shower areas were very clean. The campground was not especially "kid friendly." Less than 24 hours after our arrival a staff member visited our campsite with complaints of the kids riding their bikes on other campsites and mistreating toads. The latter complaint was unsubstantiated. Our visit was only 48 hours! I will never bring my grandchildren there again!

It is a nice campground but the owner rides around on a golf car yelling at kids for having fun, most the time not knowing why.Noteworthy details: We can tell he is not from Wisconsin he should get a drink and go back to Illinois

By far, the best family campground in Wisconsin! Heavily wooded, on a beautiful lake, near Boulder Junction and Minocqua. The owners are friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are clean and convenient. Whole campground has a family atmosphere!
