NEVER giving my business to Wood Sales and Services again. Services were done on my mower that were never asked for. They never called, I never signed anything asking for said services to be done on my mower. The employee Karen needs to be fired, and or if it is the owner, shame on her. Terrible customer service. Extremely out of line and disrespectful on the phone. This business should feel ashamed and embarrassed for the way they conducted business. I m disgusted knowing a small town business is taking advantage of customers.

Karen needs to be fired. We support small town businesses but Karen is awful. Dropped off a rider for an oil change and blade sharpening. $500! They replaced the blade. We called and had to talk to Karen about the $500.- we asked if they called people before they replaced items and she said are u going to pay for the extra people to make those calls? And I could have just sent the lawn mower back with no blade! . We asked to have old blade put on. Now we have it back with a random unsharpened blade and it s smoking. Hmmmm. This is my first google review of any company so I am not just another Karen. We will be finding some other small business to support

New mower. First zero turn,won't go back to regular rider. A little tricky on down hill slopes or side hill.Got it figured out pretty quickly. Sales lady took care of everything. Thank you,Wood Sales and Service. Mike Cwikla

My husband and I purchased a snow blower and a riding lawn mower from them and they are fantastic to work with! The only thing I wish they would have explained better is the service inclusions for the first year and with the extended warranty. We thought we understood what they meant, but at the start of the spring after we purchased our mower (Cub Cadet + 3 year extended warranty including servicing for oil changes, etc.) we called to have it picked up for an oil change and when it was finished, we had a bill of over $150.00. We were obviously not happy and my husband went to talk to them about it and all that they said was it should have been explained to us in detail at purchasing. We paid the bill and let that be that, but were very disappointed because it is in such a convenient location and we know most of the folks that work there, so they're always friendly.

Had to pick up some hydrostatic motor fluid for my 60 inch deck cub cadet zero turn. The gentleman behind the counter was a huge help! He wasn't trying to be a "salesman" he was straight to the point and explained to me why going with the name fluid is the safest and best way to lengthen the lifespan of your machine. Just a hell of a nice guy and all around the business itself wasn't overly priced for what I needed. I will be back!

I walked in during a very busy Saturday afternoon, returned a dethatcher rental & rented a plug aerator. Jason and Harvey were both at the counter, both very pleasant, knowledgeable, & helpful to anyone in their lines & and on their phones. It took a while from beginning to end but I didn't mind, there's plenty to look at in the store. During pick up, the shop mechanic arrived, he recognized that something was bent, apologized, & fixed it on the spot! He also loaded the unit for me & asked if i had any questions. I feel the rental service was great, & the equipment got the job done!

I can only give positive feedback on the service I received! Everyone I spoke to was very courteous and helpful! Very accommodating! I feel the need to mention CURTIS, (SANTA? LOL) EXTREMELY helpful, prompt over the top customer service!! Thank you! I will remain to be a loyal customer!

I purchased a cordless trimmer. Hannah was very knowledgeable and helpful. As a bonus she put it together. All I had to do is charge the battery.

Very nice facility & friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised by the set up they had going on. Quite a few different used products. Utv, cub cadet mowers, stihl saws. They're a good business to work with. Would recommend them to anyone in that area.

Poor, poor, poor customer service. Bought a new Yanmar tractor ($12,000). They said the mower was in stock and they just needed to install the deck. It took over 7 days for them to get the deck installed and took me 3 calls inquiring. The mechanic said he didn't know it needed to be done until the day he installed it. They installed the mower and the mower was falling off after 5 hours of use. They did not lubricate any of the grease fittings on the mower. No returned phone calls, would not replace lost parts from lift assembly falling off, would not provide a parts list. Wanted me to further disassemble other side of lift mechanism and bring it in to order parts. No service on the supposed warranty on the tractor. Would not even return calls as to if there was a warranty. Always get the same answer "You need to talk to Harvey. I will have him call. He is not in." No returned calls. I own lots of equipment and deal with other dealerships regularly. Drive the extra miles and buy from someone else. They had good service in the past but not anymore. I had to deal with the manufacturer directly to get a parts list.

If I could give zero stars I would. I have been trying to get ahold of someone there so I can rent a uhaul for my in laws and NO ONE has called me back. I have left at least two messages if not more over the last time o weeks. Even if they don't have what I'm looking for the courteous thing and the business smart move would be to call me back and say they don't have what I'm looking for but if something comes in the will call me. We are going somewhere else with our business.

too much to say but think they are mostly interested in selling new products and have let service department fall apart. Have been lied to, stalled on answers; general disinterest once the purchase made. Have voted with wallet and taken ALL new lawn & garden equipment purchases locally elsewhere including service. Woods may have been good in the past but....

Absolutely tops in friendly and knowledgeable staff. Able to answer all my questions and were very efficient. They are experts in outdoor power equipment and outdoor wood stoves.

Recently, July 2015, I purchased a Yanmar Lx410 from Wood Sales and Service. I could not be happier with the process and product. The staff was very helpful answering my many questions. They walked me through the operation and maintenance of the tractor and were clearly very knowledgeable with their product and its capabilities. I am confident that when service is needed, the process will be just as smooth. Service on my many chainsaws in the past and present at Wood Sales has always been fast and excellent.Happy Customer,Craig Tomczak, Florence WIsconsin

If you have a chainsaw that needs to be fixed they can do it right the first time. I drive 40 minutes one way for them to work on my saws. I spent $100 going somewhere else to fix my chainsaw which was a waste of time and money.

Disgusted. I have over the years bought 3 chainsaws, pole saw , weed trimmer, and blower all stihl. Wood sales used to have good service when they had the mechanic with the tatoo's "sorry can't remember name but he knew what he sold and how to fix it' since then bad service I had a ? soon after buying the weed trimmer, on how to put line on it ,they said they could take care of that, took it in back, came back out with $1 worth of line and charged me $29 . More recently came in to see if my ms311 was under warranty I had been having trouble with the oiler the lady working didn't know if it was under warranty but she could order me a new oiler for a price. My advise go to farm fleet to buy anything stihl they have a mechanic on site and if your going to get treated like a big box store customer why not go to a big box better pricing also
