Long line, had to wait 20 minutes but was happy with the service level and the attitude of the rep. Very thorough, gave me lots of info, was patient, helped me fill out the right form and sent me off to get a signature. Then told me he would watch for me to come back and get right in to finish it up. Thanks.

Young Lady was very polite. Explained how to put the handicap stickers on plates. She actually smiled! We don't see that very often at the DMV. She was very patient with my disabeld husband.

I went in and sat on a chair. The man and woman behind the counter, were chatting. I sat there about 20 minutes, waiting to be called. I finally said something and, was told, he was waiting for me. Not very good customer service. What else would I be doing there?

Staff was great one day. Next time the guy was very abrupt.The lines are ridiculously long and i feel they should have more days of open operation instead of cramming everybody into one or two days a week. I felt like I was standing in line, for tickets, at a concert I didn't even want to see.

EXCELLENT staff! However, a SIGN at the old location on the south side of the building saying that they moved to the west side would be nice for people who get there before opening. (It's on the Hwy 12 side now... just an FYI so you don't stand there waiting for them to open on a cold morning only to find you got there TWENTY MINUTES EARLY for no reason.)

Wow the DMV has gotten their "stuff" together. To renew my license I waited in line for less than 5 minutes, they processed my form, took my picture, and handed me a temporary paper ID in literally a minute or less and sent me on my way. And the clerk was super friendly and professional. Can't believe I had such a good experience at the DMV.

Everyone on staff is very helpful, respectful, and patient. During my visit, there was a computer glitch during the process of acquiring a new plate for my vehicle. It was evident that the staff worked well as a team when it came to trying to complete the process, and when a call to Madison still left everyone stumped for a solution, they offered to keep working on it and call me when it was resolved. Thank you for taking the time to work out the glitch!

Everyone at Baraboo DMV were so kind and helpful to me. I needed to reinstate my DL from NV and everyone was so helpful and kind and made the process so unstressful. Believe me it's a nightmare to even change an address where I came from! Thank you so much Baraboo DMV Ladies you were all wonderful and friendly.

went to exchange my Illinois license to a Wisconsin, a task that should be fairly painless and quick. I was in line for only a short time until I was called to the desk. The young lady asked for all my information which I already had ready. The young lady was terribly rude, stating that I have had unpaid fines in Arizona, a state which I haven't lived in for over 4 years. I informed her that there must be a mistake. She then told me "I don't care, you'll figure it out". Not only rude to me, but a gentleman needed change for a fee, because he was paying with cash, the young women at the desk would not make him change. The gentleman at the desk was mean to an elderly women who was trying to renew her license as well. I was only in the DMV for about 45 minutes and these employees were horrible, being mean and disrespectful to every person who stepped up to the counter. The whole government system is corrupt, squeezing ever dollar were they can get it.

Went in to renew my license and get the new Real ID. What a pleasant experience! Thank you to the gentleman who assisted me and made this such a quick, painless transaction .

If I could give a negative rating, I would. A young woman attended my driving test and yelled at me while I was driving. they are not professional at all. it was a terrible experience.

My wife and I came here to register her car. We we're turned away from the Mauston DMV because we didn't have the title but we explained that the car has a lien on it since we're still paying the loan and they didn't give us a title. Needless to say the Baraboo DMV was a lot more helpful and were able to plate and register her car.

Pretty fair experience as far as the DMV goes. Wasn't real busy, they were nice, got what I needed right away and got out of there. Nice DMVing, DMV!

The woman who 'helped' me today was so rude to me. On my way to my vehicle,a lady stopped me and told me even she saw and heard how bad I was treated. I'm disabled myself and I feel nobody should be treated this way!
