My vehicle broke down 1.7 miles from the exit that I was trying to get to one yesterday morning. I picked Craig s towing out of Baraboo after research I called early in the morning so I didn t expect much although I was willing to take what I can get and when the phone answered I got a hello and a quite confused Response after I confirmed that it was Craig s towing. She could not find out where US 12 was I ll post a timeline of advance down below, but let s just say that she didn t know what US 12 was and I told her the name of the highway, and I still couldn t figure out how she couldn t know where I was at but anyway I had my car towed as long as it could ve been within the hour time constraints. My car didn t make it to the impound until two hours later and I missed the pick up to have my vehicle picked up by someone so they took it to the impound lot and that s where I sit now in the cold 44� weather, still waiting for someone to let me pick up my vehicle and pay for it. The two women in the office have me confused with someone else and they told me that they told me to call ahead an hour. They did not however, I took the responsibility of knowing that I possibly could be wrong , so I gave an hour notice and I sat patiently. There s two women in this office and they said all of the men were out on an accident and that was gonna be 3 to 4 hours. I cannot find it reported accident any worse in a 30 mile radius of where I m at. I m gonna keep looking I will correct if I find but I m not sure where they re at but I m also not sure about why one of those females in that office couldn t come and just let me in and let me pay my bill and take my car. So now that brings us here to now I have no place to take my car because it s after 5 o clock and all the mechanics are closed. No one has called me back to tell me when I can get my car and I sit here in the cold. just waiting next to the impound lot with the blanket, this is absolutely unacceptable. Customer service. I have no idea how a business can be so absolutely absent minded to does not have a back up plan when a customer needs to access to their vehicle for whatever reason in the event that all of the all of the gentleman, because obviously, the women and manner have their own roles here when someone needs their vehicle within the reasonable amount of time and willing to pay for that why can I get it , can anyone get it? I ll tell you females are in the office watching me sit out here and suffer as I try to get up and down and I have to go to the bathroom and I don t have a restroom. I have nothing just to sit out here and wait for my vehicle in the middle of nowhere , so if you have another option to use anyone else or don t even use all just don t use Craig towing service because in the event that you have to pick it up while they are on a call, you will be waiting 345 hours and they don t have a waiting room.They are not ADA assessable they have no restroom facilities. And I have to wrap this up because now my hands are freezing. I really hope they take this in consideration and provide better customer service. I m not saying that I should have better service because I m a disabled veteran, but just a waiting area where it was so cold would be nice. Shame on you guys for pocket money and not putting it back into your business and treating your customer This is my experience only. I encourage you to research and make your own decisions, but this is my absolute 100% truth experience.

Holiday... figured we'd be charged some high price... Craig's was recommended. Fast service. Chris was very professional, courteous, good conversation. Made a bad day a little bit better. Thank you, Chris!!

Called for a winch out a couple days ago down by sauk city on hwy 12, they quoted me 250 to winch me out ok and they say they will be there in half hour, as I am a mail delivery person and have a important job todo, well the sheriff showed up and keep in mind I have been waiting an hour and half, and was told 30 min, well the sheriff dept called a diffrent company that got on scene in less than 20 min, and charged me a quarter of the price, as well as craigs showed up at same time, and was having a argument with the other tow truck driver. Talk about customer service and being an amazing image like craigs advertise online, they are in the buisness to take advantage of people and it shows!!! I would still like a phone call and to know why things happend like they did

Roger is hands down the best tow truck driver we've ever had. He towed a vehicle across state lines for us nearly 100 miles and still had a smile and positive attitude. Communication was excellent and Craig's will be our first call if we're ever in a bind again.

My son's car broke down at Devils lake and I had called Hometown Auto in Baraboo. They recommended Craig's towing to have it picked up and dropped off. In less than an hour and a half from calling they had it picked up and dropped off. Fast service, great price and the technician was really helpful.

Thank You so much for your help and kindness when we had something so scary happen. Roger was amazing and helped tow our son's car right after the accident and to our home a day later. He was so kind, so courteous, and did an excellent job of explaining exactly what he was going to do and making certain we had what we needed. Thank You, immensely.

Sorry, I'm a few weeks late in writing this due to an international trip that I was on. A couple of days before I left, my car would not start in a shopping mall parking lot. It was supposed to be picked up that night (after hours) and when I checked with the repair shop in the morning, it was not yet there. I called Craig's and it turned out there was some problem (honestly can't remember why, maybe a credit card number error) but we got things straightened out and they got it the next morning.When asked about the delay, the nice lady at Craig's said that the driver had tried to call me that night, but he was unable to reach me so he left it in the lot. The driver put good notes in the computer records that night, which was great, I really appreciated that! As a former Emergency Services dispatcher in a neighboring county (911 etc), we always kept good notes like that too, and it paid off many times, just as it did now. It helped me understand why it was left overnight (I wasn't angry) and it made life easier for the nice lady on the phone too.Anyway, the blame lies with the night dispatch company (an answering service, who-knows-where) that wrote down my telephone number wrong, that's why they couldn't reach me. Though not technically Craig's fault, it's the only reason I rate them from a 5 star to a 4 star, they need a reliable after hours answering company. I was very disappointed with the night dispatcher as there were tones in the background that kept interrupting us and it seemed she wasn't even paying full attention to me, I'm sure that's why she wrote my telephone number down wrong. I even asked her if she could turn off the annoying ringing so she could hear me, it was loud on my end too. She said she couldn't, it was other calls coming in and she continued to seem herky-jerky and distracted while getting my information.Now, for the towing itself and the very nice lady who answered and helped me during regular business hours the next morning, I was VERY happy! The towing cost was very reasonable (especially being an after hours call originally), and the driver, Roger, did a great job of keeping me informed by text of exactly when he was going to hook it. He even texted me when it was dropped off so I knew I could then call the repair shop and discuss what was wrong with the car.So thank you to Craig's (in-house, not after hours) team, haha. Before I retired from LE, I had a lot of experience with a LOT of different tow companies, and I highly recommend Craig's to anyone. They were friendly, honest and fair with costs, and offered top-notch service!Last note, stay safe guys, we appreciate you. I know your job is an important and risky one when on the roads and highways, especially at night or when it's slippery!

We have used your services twice this past year and both times have been more than pleasant. This past time the driver was able to distract me with comments on how nice my car was. I put my car in the ditch and was very shaken so it was a nice way to calm the nerves so I could get back on the road.

Roger was awesome today .came in a timely fashion and got my car running within 10 minutes. He also educated me on the cause of the issue and how to prevent it from occurring again. Thanks Roger for coming out in this weather and getting things going again!!

I towed my 3/4 ton Chevy truck and a small utility trailer 1 mile for $450 I thought that was a bit expensive. And he said he looks out for his neighbors. Boy did he ever ,. Call PLATTS GARAGE. Wis dells

The owner is short tempered, and yelling seems to be his default tone of voice. Roger no longer works there, so you can ignore all of the reviews talking about how good Roger was.

My Dodge 5500 blew a tire on the interstate near Wisconsin Dells. My son was driving, and we both have Triple A. They dispatched Craigs Towing. While my son was watching, their flatbed operator winched the truck up on the flatbed, strongly favoring one side, which ruined a brand new hubcap when it rubbed up against the blue side rail. This hubcap was recently purchased as a set from Napa for approximately $500. I was present when the driver unloaded the truck at my residence an hour later. He again favored one side and trashed the hubcap even more. I took pictures while this was happening, which showed that there was over 6" of extra space on the other side. This damage easily could have been avoided. We initially contacted AAA for replacement of the hupcap, and when they failed to do anything, we contacted Sue at Craigs. We sent her pictures, which include the hubcap with their blue paint on it. She initially offered to send us $100., but that check never came. We have reached out several times since then, but to no avail. We have approximately 18 vehicles that have tow insurance. None will ever be towed by Craigs Towing again, and I have a big mouth when I've been burned. I hope it was worth it for them.

Excellent experience with Craig's Towing! We were camping in The Dells (July 2023) and our car wouldn't start. We called Craig's and they were great. The lady I talked to over the phone gave me a suggestion on where to have our car towed to to be worked on. She recommended Dells Auto Center. They were very good as well. I have written them a good review as well. The tow truck operator arrived very quick, maybe 20 minutes. His name was Russ, he was very polite and helpful. Having car issues is not fun, especially when you are on vacation, but it is good to know that Craig's Towing was there to help. They are an honest and good company. My truck was totaled in an accident and towed to Craig s. When I called the lady was arguing with me about what insurance I had on my truck. I had to show her my proof of insurance in order to get her to stop arguing with me. I went out to the yard to get personal items from my truck after being given permission to come out and do so, the lady finally let me retrieve my items after arguing with me about insurance for 15 minutes, I got a couple of my items out before the lady locked the truck and told me I think we re good here.

I had a flat tire around 8:00 PM. Craig s towing came and changed my tire. I could not be more happier with the service that was provided and the service rep that changed. My service rep was so nice so knowledgeable and his main concern was that I would be safe after he change the tire. I would highly recommend Craig s towing service five stars for them and five stars for Phil the Service rep.Service: Tire change

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Josh from Craig's provided a stand out experience and I am so grateful. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to driving my car away, 5 ++. He was upbeat, pleasant, kind and genuinely seemed to care about my situation, comfort and safety. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained things in a friendly and educational manner. His positive demeanor made me feel at ease. I am very impressed by the level of service I received and will reccomend Craig's to others. Thank you, Josh!

I had a flat tire with messed up lug nuts in the middle of a bachelorette party on a Saturday, 3 hours from home. AAA sent Sam to come change my tire. When he couldn t, he had me call AAA again for a tow, and said he d look around for open garages. Once I d put the tow in, an employee called me to help me figure out where I needed to get towed to, spent several minutes helping me find an open garage and had told Sam to stay in the area until it was figured out. She was extremely helpful and compassionate about my situation and gave excellent advice. When we found an open place, she had Sam come back and he was incredibly respectful, efficient, and made the experience as painless as possible. Craig s towing really saved my weekend!!

Craig's was great and really got us out of a jam when our car broke down climbing the hills to Devil's Lake. Very prompt and responsive. Josh, the tow driver, was great. Very professional and courteous.

Difficult, hard to access, narrow lane on dirt. Trees were too low to safely get our van up on the flatbed. Driver was very patient while we used our tractor to get it where he could load it. Excellent service. Kudos to driver!Service: Special vehicle towingService: Special vehicle towing

I can't rate my experience high enough.Long story short: two of my tires burst and I needed to be at work in the morning. I was going to call around locally at 7-8am when I saw Craig's was 24/7 with an online application. Three minutes after sending it in at 4am for a 7am request I got a phone call. Later around 6am I got another phone call from the driver double confirming.The dude showed up at 7:03am at the hotel and address I put in and I was right ther walking out as he pulled in. He was efficient. He drove me and my popped tires to where I needed to go. I respected his labor time and all of Craig's towing respected me and my time.Because of Craig's Towing and their efficiency and hu-white level of effectiveness, I was only two hours late to work looking like a dork and not 4 or 6 looking like a pink slip contestant.Thanks Craig's. Couldn't have done it better myself if I wanted to, and those words have as much meaning as you think.Final price? $94, me knowing they "opened" at 7am to avoid OT and Emergency charges. It's in the top quartile of pricing, but given the service they gave me and the results. No complaints, only compliments.I forget the Bloke's name, but he was a quality dude and I hope his honeymoon bares fruit if you know what mean.

My husband's fuel gelled up and his plow truck broke down on US-12 on the coldest night of the year. Jeremiah did an amazing job fitting this huge truck on the flatbed and safely bringing it home and unloading it exactly where we asked him to do it. The fee they charged was very fair for more than couple hours of hard work in negative 50 wind chill. It's our pleasure to give them our business.Service: Special vehicle towing

Craig extorted us on Christmas eve and didn't tow my semi a block away to hotel where we asked them to tow it. My wife has epilepsy and left her meds in the truck. They wouldn't answer the phone or tell us where the truck was until we threatened to call the state troopers. After they finally would allow me to come get the truck, he got in my face and said I was rude to his wife on the phone and had my truck blocked in. Until I paid 1000 cash up front for only towing the truck 3 miles, somehow damaging 2 areas on my truck. Craig was very unprofessional. Also their dispatch service was rude and unprofessional.
