Bill's Towing hands down the BEST! Tracy was awesome helping me get Charlie to tow my son's car that broke down on the way home from college. Tracy was extremely kind, caring, funny, smart and very thorough in explaining the expenses related to getting the tow and repairs. Charlie was wonderful to my son. Called the next day and Ricky assisted me with answering all of my questions and keeping me updated on the repairs. He was great to work with! Car was repaired in less than 4 hours! Bill's staff is fantastic and so glad we found them to assist us in our need!!! THANK YOU Bill's Towing and Auto Repair!!!

I m giving Bill s Towing 5 stars because we were visiting the Dells area when we had car trouble and they were the ONLY auto shop willing to help us. Literally, the ONLY shop. They opened a location rarely used for the public to help us out of towners and we are very grateful! They replaced our alternator and got us back on the road. Thank you so much!!!!

They helped me out in a tight spot, despite being confused and taking my car to the wrong location. Super friendly and went out of their way to help me. Actually made a special appointment and trip to remove my InTox-A-Lock!! And if anyone has ever had the pleasure of having one of those beautiful devices in your vehicle , it was the kindest thing anyone has ever done!

Above and beyond service. Had to get items out of a vehicle on a Sunday, they opened up and had someone meet me in my time frame. Any towing I may need. Bills will be my guys.

Where to start with this review My husband was on a work trip in Wisconsin dells and had some car issues with his alternator. We needed a towing back to the Madison area and called Bills to get service.The person I spoke to was kind and helpful at first but my experience quickly went downhill. They explained the process of picking up, getting a link sent to pay via phone and confirming the arrival of the car.We were quoted an estimate and agreed for the service. We were told that the tow truck would be out to us within 20 minutes. We waited for more than an hour and a half for someone to get there. Every time I would call to get an update, I kept getting told they were on their way and it would be 10 minutes.When the tow truck finally arrived the driver loaded up the car and we explained that the truck was getting dropped off at our home and we would have a mechanic waiting there for their arrival.Not even 20 minutes after the truck was picked up I received a call stating they had not yet received my payment. We paid the invoice right away which was $75 more than what I was quoted by the way.2 hours later and no truck. We called and they said it was dropped of to their shop and they were waiting for another driver to come and get the truck. We were never notified of this, we were told the truck was going straight from point A to point B.We ended up arriving at home and still no truck. I called the the person I spoke to was very rude. I expressed my frustration on it being almost 4 hours later and still no truck when it was about an hour drive. They said they had an emergency come up, which still doesn t make sense on why my truck was dropped off to their shop.Again they stated my truck would be there in 20 minutes another hour passes and truck is still not there. When it was finally delivered, they had switched out truck to another tow with another car latched do it. I called and the person I spoke to said I m not going to do anything about this. Long story short, I would not recommend their service. They were very unprofessional, rude and very overpriced for the poor service they provide.

Broke down on the highway and got a late night tow in 30 mins. Dropped me off at my hotel. Got me into their AM schedule and back on the road by noon. Mechanic was awesome at showing me what to look for. Great customer service. 10/10

Vehicle was stolen and recovered by this company. I called ahead to get my items out of the truck, was told someone would be here by 10am. Took off work to drive over to find nobody here. When I called to find out what was going on a very rude lady said we need to call an hour ahead. I did. Said someone should be here in 30 minutes to an hour. Hung up on me when I became agitated and must have burned their truckers ears ... I would give a negative if I could. -5 stars.

My brakes were froze and they fixed my brakes sooner then the estimated time. Unfortunately the company they get parts from sent a bad caliper and the brakes went out the next day. They came to my house and picked up my car and towed it to the shop. Replaced the caliper and made sure it was good and did everything they could to make sure it didn't happen again. They then towed my car back home for me! That was awesome! Saved my dad and I a lot of time and gas/money.Service: Brakes

PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. Was charged $400 for a tow less than 10 miles away and an additional $240 for storage fees. Total rip off. When I first called, I was never told to make an appointment, so when I showed up the next day they said they couldn t help me and that I had to come back tomorrow. Not to mention it s $45 every day the car is left on the premises. The man inside told my boyfriend to go outside because he didn t want to listen to him talk about the OUTRAGEOUS prices anymore. Very unprofessional and rude. Please go anywhere else by all means and avoid this place.

I had called them around 11:30 p.m. needing a tow since it said they were open 24 hours. I explained to the guy that answered what I needed and where my location was. He told me "No they wouldn't let him send someone out at that time of night that far." It was 12 miles, just 12 miles and I was told no. I have never been told no before from a business when their job is to literally help tow someone out of a jam. This was after I tried two other tow companies who didn't answer. I walked in the cold with the wind blowing strong to a house to try and get help as a result. When that didn't help, I had no choice to call the sheriff's department for help. A deputy came out to try and help but we couldn't get the car unstuck. He talked to dispatch and they were able to get a tow company from Reedsburg to come out. So finally after 2 and a half hours, my car was free and I got to go home. I had to go through all this because I was told no from this company. I have never been so upset with a business before and I would never recommend them to anybody as a result of it. If you are ever looking for help, do not go to them because they will not help you.

My chevy 1985 can broke down on the side of the highway 20 miles from the dells. after trying to fix it, i called triple A and they sent Bills to tow me. They showed up in 20 minutes & fixed it in an hour. I am very appreciative of how quickly they picked us up and fixed the problem & were very reasonably priced. 2 Great experiences! I highly recommend!!Upon arrival from IN we got a flat at the neighboring Condo office to ours where we were to check in at & Bill's was sent via my insurance company. He, whose name I've forgotten-sorry!!- arrived quickly, was friendly, fast with the spare and helpful in trying to assess my tire. After suggesting a closer Walmart could repair it easily I asked if they would if I so choose. He said yes. The next evening Walmart had a 2 hr wait & I preferred to give Bill's my money anyhow so I drove an easy 4-5 min out of our way to them. I am so glad I did! The same great guy was there and had my tire plugged in less than 20 min. Thank you so much your help in both places!

Husband went through them to get an intoxilock put in.. run around from day one. Nobody was there to receive the device on the day it was scheduled to be installed. So it was cancelled and they didn't even so much as call us to let us know.. we had to call them to find out. No paperwork or instructions. Just "who wants the keys" when picking up the vehicle. They told him to unhook the intoxilock today when the battery in the vehicle died.. which according to intoxilock shouldn't have happened. Unprofessional. Unreliable. Would not recommend and going elsewhere ourselves after today.

I wanted to write a quick review of my tow experience with Bill's towing company on july 23rd. Family on vacation at the Dells. The driver arrived almost immediately after we called Ford roadside assistance. We had a damaged key fob and the ignition was disabled and he had to take extra steps to get the truck on the bed. The guy was very professional and we made small talk that made everyone feel comfortable. I appreciated his timeliness and courtesy. Thanks for letting me share my view. Mr. P

Troy was very friendly and helpful. I brought my minivan in with a suspected leaky tire. They checked it out and determined there was no issue. Sent me on my way no charge. Thanks!

They promote themselves as a 24 Hour service company . This is NOT true. Called their company at 5:46 P. M. On Friday, January 17, 2020 for a jump start for a vehicle in the Baraboo City Limits. Person who answered the phone was not very friendly and said "they had no one available they could send out tonight for that issue" We then called a competitor who arrived within 15 minutes, and successfully jump started our vehicle. We have used Bill's Towing in the past, and were happy with their service. In the future, though our first call will be to the competitor of Bill's Towing who actually provided service to us tonight. Read their reviews and you will see I am not the only person worth this issue.

I am really late in reviewing Bills Towing but I have to share the experience I had with other travelers or anyone in need of good, honest auto repair. First of all, I was a woman traveling alone with two teen girls, a toddler and an infant. I wanted to take them to enjoy a weekend in the Dells. As soon as we arrived at The Wilderness Hotel, I noticed my 'check engine' light was on. I assumed (or rather hoped) my engine was just hot or something. We unpacked and checked the hotel out and decided we would go in to town for dinner. When we tried to leave, my car (2008 Suburban) had a warning alarm I had never heard before and 'Turn Engine Off Immediately' was displayed on my dash. I did just that and then I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I called my husband who offered to come up but it was a long drive and we would still have to get the truck home. I decided to research local auto repair shops and found Bills. They were there to pick my car up within 20 minutes and told me they would call as soon as they had an update. Within about an hour the mechanic called me to tell me my oil was black and down to only about 3 quarts. He checked the engine to make sure I hadn't done any major damage and gave me a double oil change to wash out any old, burnt oil. They also came to pick me up. The whole ordeal cost less than $120 which is a standard tow in Chicago. I believe it's important to pass this story along because I could have very easily been duped into huge repair costs and parts I didn't need by an unscrupulous mechanic. Thank you Bill's Towing for being honest!

We were on vacation and enjoying our time at Mount Olympus. On our way out I realized that I have lost our only car key. With the fear of being so far from home and that someone had found it and was waiting for everyone to leave so they could steal our car. We called Bills Towing. They were really close by and was able to tow our car to our hotel room. Tow truck driver was very professional, polite, and understanding. Tow truck driver "which his name escapes me now but was an ex-marine" was very good at what he does. Made sure that he did not damage the car because the wheels were locked. Very knowledgeable on how to tow a car. Thank you for the help.

Their prices for towing were absolutely outrageous. We had our boat parked in a wrong spot ( and yes, we shouldn't have had it parked there... but we didn't know that). It was towed literally across town and we had to pay $500 to get it. . And they broke a light on it in the process. Highway Robery

My Ford Explorer broke down Sunday Sept. 3rd and of course Labor day weekend. I called my Insurance co. so she told me a Bills towing would be out to get you, I decided to ask a stupid question, how long do you think until they will get here? well she said it is Labor Day weekend. Just about ready to cry, 10-15 minutes later here he comes. Very polite and professional {remember labor day weekend} Did not complain he was working all weekend, like others would be. So anyone reading these reviews please read my experience with Bills Towing, GREAT SERVICE!!!!! I would give them 10 stars if they were up there!!!!!

i have been calling them and asking them for my visa receipt for 3 days. they're excuse every time is "oh were getting hit by a storm, our computers are down" yet they were able to send me the invoice? we've already had to stop and have our trailer fixed because of the work that they did.. plus an $87.00 administration fee apparently to put out pylons to make people pull over... like really? anywhere else you go will put out the pylons for free!! will never use this company again. so unprofessional. i wouldn't even give them 1 star.

My car was to be towed from my job. There two Ways in. The door for the foundry and cnc. Then the other door located on the other side. Also two different parking lots. Well, they showed up, called me (I can t have my phone on the floor) couldn t answer. So instead of called my employer. They leave and let me car sit there.Really, you call the person your towing the vehicle for and they don t answer as they are at work. The next reasonable thing you do is call their employer and let them know who you are and the person you are looking for. It s not that hard!!!
