Limped my car there Sunday night with shifter issues, in the morning after their Complimentary Free Diagnostic they already had the problem narrowed down to the exact part failure. All work was done exceptionally and faster than any shop around. The next gen team is always friendly and knowledgeable and treat everyone like family.

I am so grateful for ALL the help I received recently at Next Generation Auto in Baldwin! They took the time to listen to me and then brain-stormed my problem and solved it!! They were so friendly and respectful of my time and my concerns. I m referring them to everyone I know!I m so thankful!

What a GREAT place to bring your vehicle! They got me in right away, made a special run to get a part instead of ordering it, so they could finish my car the same day. And everyone was friendly and good-natured. Just a great experience - definitely my go to place from now on!

Love the Next Gen team! They are always accommodating to crazy schedules and spur of the moment requests as they are able, and pleasant to work with. They provide all information and don't pressure you into work you might not want done at the time while ensuring you know what is necessary. Customer service is amazing!

Next Generation runs a solid car repair business. As a basic home mechanic, I do all the general maintenance on my vehicles (oil changes, transmission fluid, wheel/tire installation, etc.). But occasionally there are jobs that are too big for me or beyond my technical knowledge to complete, so I begin the long and tiring search for a reputable auto repair shop with a good track record and reasonable pricing. Next Generation was the first place I called and they made it easy! I had a number of routine maintenance items done to my vehicle here and these folks are a great team. I got daily updates about the status of my truck, a detailed inspection sent straight to my phone (including photos and descriptions) and never had to wonder about the status of my vehicle. They also asked me when I would need the vehicle back and made strides to have all the work completed by that time, which they did. In just one day they replaced my pads and rotors, installed new spark plugs, performed a rear pinion seal replacement, differential service, engine air filter replacement, and window regulator replacement. Pricing was reasonable as well, and I was notified as soon as the work was done. If you're looking for an auto repair shop that really takes care of you and your vehicle, I would highly recommend Next Generation. I was happy to find such a nice waiting room and bathroom. The people are all so friendly and helpful, including helping me save money. They did a good job, and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Everyone at Next Generation in Baldwin is friendly and the technicians are very knowledgeable. Before they do any work, I'll receive an email with pictures of where the problem lies. It's easy to make a phone call to ask any questions and give the approval to fix the problem! I get a detailed invoice of the issue(s) that were fixed, and also a list of everything that's in good working order. I highly recommend Next Gen!!!

We were from out of town and had to put a lot of trust in someone we new nothing about. I was greeted with great staff and they worked hard to get me as much information possible to make the best decision on our vehicle. Could not have asked for a better experience.

The staff is truly amazing! For myself not knowing that much about cars they really take their time to explain what is needed to fix your vehicle, they go above and beyond for their customers.One time they allowed me to keep my car in their parking lot, instead of having to get it towed home, while I was waiting on getting it towed to the manufacturer for extended warranty work. Also, my car manufacturer say that my car needed a part, next generation looked it over and was that part not needed, they took the time explained what was needed and my options on replacement.I would 100% recommend going to them!

I brought two tires in for a simple bead leak fix, valve stem replacement and re-balance. They replaced the valve stems and that's it. One tire had to come back the very next day because it went flat again. They only put bead sealant on about 6" of one side of the bead the second time. Now both tires are flat again two weeks later. Also they didn't balance either tire even after specifically pointing out a missing weight and asking for it the second time I brought the tire in. NEVER AGAIN... at $35/tire I expected the best service possible since I needed a one time fix and forget it service. Very unhappy and a complete waste of time and money.

I ve been coming to Next Generation for 10 plus years. They are the only Auto Repair Shop that I have my vehicles worked on. The team is amazing and Melissa is always so honest and upfront about what needs to be done at this time and what I should be thinking about in the future. Both Baldwin and Hudson shops have been great to work with. I trust them and highly recommend them.Service: Engine repair

Had a couple of vehicles already worked on by Next Gen. Auto. Durango had a coolant leak and they were able to diagnose it and repair it quickly.Jeep Wrangler needed some brake work (all rear brakes - rotor, calipers, etc.) Wrangler brakes are working excellent now.

We found ourselves with a flat 1.5 hours away from home the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Melissa was able to get us in and help us get back on the road before the holiday. Everyone was so friendly and helpful in a stressful situation.

Everyone was very friendly and informative. They accessed my issue right away. Even though they were very busy they squeezed me in! My compressor for my AC was shot. In this heat.. badly needed. I ve been taking my car here since I moved to Baldwin, these folks are amazing! They always send a vehicle inspection report w/ pictures and everything to my phone. If you aren t sure what something means on your car, the vehicle report site has built-in videos that explain everything too! Melissa at the front desk is exceptional to work with every time as well. We had 2 transmissions go out at the same time and the team at Next Generation worked with us to get the cars taken care of while we were getting the money all together. LIKE FAMILYI was recently traveling across the state from the twin cities to southern Wisconsin, as my vehicle came to a stop on the interstate. I called Next Generation a little worked up because I was nowhere close to home or my destination. Melissa immediately reassured me and was able to fit me in to be seen immediately. Upon arrival, my vehicle was promptly taken into the garage. Eric, the mechanic who worked on my vehicle, took extra care to speak with me throughout his work and keep me updated on his findings. Melissa and Eric both let me know they would not send me on my way if it was unsafe which I GREATLY appreciated as I still had the majority of my trip left, and was traveling alone. After his final inspection, Eric again talked me through what he did and let me know he felt that it was safe to continue my drive. I made it to my location safe and there were no more issues with my vehicle.I would gladly return to Next Generation for any and all work, and would refer them to anyone as well.Service: Auto maintenance

I have been bringing all my vehicles here for years and have always gotten great service, explanation on issues and also their input on the priority level of the repair or general maintenance. I will continue to bring my vehicles to Next Generation Auto, they are a great company that does excellent work and has always made me feel that they were looking out for me as a customer and would tell me if something could be pushed to the next visit if need be. They charged me 94 Dollars just to tell me what they wanted to fix not what I asked them to fix I do plan on talking to the owner to tell them how unhappy I'm about the hole thing.they never said there was a charge to look at car and tell me what was wrong. I would not recommend this place to any one. I have talked to two other people who had same experience with next generation Auto.

Next Generation is wonderful to work with. From start to finish they were in contact about the status of my vehicle. They took my calls and addressed all my concerns. Not to mention, going above and beyond to not only fix the original issue but solve the mystery of my check engine light. Melissa, Joe and the whole crew are super knowledgeable, courteous, and kind. I cannot say enough great things about this shop!! They are super helpful with all the knowledge and know how to get your vehicle on the road again or to keep it on the road. Communication is superb and they give you options with what they recommend and are always willing to work with you. Our enclosed trailer let us down just short of Baldwin. Next Generation Auto did not let us down. They received an ailing hauler and did an excellent job of diagnosing that we had a crapped out tire, bent axle and cracked frame. Their quick diagnosis and make-do work allowed us to still get the ailing rig to our show at the State Fairgrounds in St. Paul. Meanwhile they ordered a new tire and mounted it to our rim so that when the trailer is finally fixed we can mount a new tire where the old one wore to the steel cord.
