We were just passing through and stopped to ask a couple outside their camper about the campground. They immediately told us not to stay at Beantown because of the Owner., high prices..

Nice size campground, close to everything. Large newer shower house.Unfortunately the pool does not open until after mid June. The staff/owners are never around. The office is always open and unattended. Misleading information about amenities. The picture shown must be from when it once was well kept it is now over grown and many seasonal sites are very small and dirty. Not a horrible experience however it also will not be memorable.

Great campground! Party of 15...we had two 30 foot campers and a cabin. Clean restrooms/showers. Shady sites. Kids and adults had fun on the choo-choo train ride! Nice pool and playground. Close to Baileys Harbor. Theresa (site manager) was very professional: answered calls ASAP, resolved issue, friendly to all. Our crew had a fantastic time!!!

Super clean and really quiet campground. Very customer service oriented as they led us to our cabin with their golf cart rather than circling it on a map. Heated pool was great and they have a big game room. Only dislikes were no blinds on the windows, super thin toilet paper, and no hooks to hang anything in the bathroom. Would definitely recommend and will return in the future.

Upon arrival into the cabin, Friday evening and it was raining hard, we noticed the floor around the doorway very wet, had to dry it up with kitchen towels incase someone slipped. We noticed there was about an one inch gap on the left side of the door on top see picture, the rain was coming in.There is no heat except for a small electric heater, that kept blowing the fuse so we lost electric three times. Owner was no very helpful, had to call her back to get her to sort out the situation. There are no hooks to hang anything, no nights stand in bedroom, cabin 73 had a table that was old, scratched up, the three chair seats that there so called suede pads were all stained and just nasty. There were four ladies sharing this cabin and we could not take showers because the water was coming from under the shower pan causing the bathroom floor to flood.and with black molded caulk. No thankyou.see pictures.NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE AT ALL.

A nice little campground just outside Baileys Harbor in door county. We stayed in one of the tiny house cabins and would definitely stay again. The cabin was clean, cute, and had plenty of space for our group. I especially liked that there was a fire pit and a separate pit with a grate for cooking. The campground was in a great location for exploring door county and had a clean pool that the kids enjoyed. I wouldn t recommend if you want to just hang out at your campground because there isn t much except for the pool and a basic playground but if you are looking for a clean and quiet base to explore door county from then I highly recommend!

Clean facilities and quiet even during the first off season weekend. Adequate lighting to see where you're going but not over barring to the point of annoying when sleeping. Stayed in a camper and had no electrical issues even when it rained.

Cabin was small but clean campground was well maintained. Website was misleading advertising wifi n cable neither was present in the cabin and owner shrugged it off when I asked about it. Barking dog for over an hour at a permanent site. Overall a nice little campground. Would stay here again.

Very pleased with our stay at Beantown! The camp was so super clean. The bathrooms, showers and office were just spotless and smelled great! Everyone that worked there was so nice and pleasant and helpful. Great place for family camping! Will totally come back again some day!

Had a great stay in the apartment ! Plenty of space for our 2 family group, 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 queen, 1 twin bunk) with doors and 1 bunk bed (twin top, full bottom) in the living room. Kitchen was perfect for our stay with a big fridge, stovetop, sink and a fireplace outside. Packed a portable grill to cook. This apartment is on the backside of the campground bathrooms but you don t hear any noise. It s also directly next to the pool and playground, Perfect location. They have 2 window ac units that help but no windows in any of the bedrooms so it can get hot. Looking forward to renting with my in-laws next year!

Great relaxing place super friendly owners, other campers are as well.Spacious sites.Clean restrooms and showers. Lots of room so not feeling crammed in or on top of one another.Nice, clean, well maintained pool area.Fun kids playground area.Close to town but still has that country feel to it.Highly recommend camping here!

We rented out the apartment with a group of friends which offered us plenty of room and the location next to the pool was an added bonus. The pool was clean and it had a playground right next to the pool which made it easier for us to watch all of our kids. They also have a little train that they run on the weekends for the kids. The reason I gave it 3 stars is because they didn't have any activities other then the pool and playground. The camp store was also very limited. For the price we paid I don't think it was worth the money.

Delicious beans (just kidding about the beans)... very friendly atmosphere, relaxing, full hookup sites including cable. Just a short bike ride into town. Nice bars and restaurants - kid friendly, and great views of Lake Michigan (in town). Cant beat it and very reasonable price!

Sweet campground. Owner onsite. Some trees lots , some grass. Nice size. Family freindly. Huge inground pool. Best part, is it s proximity to lovely Baileys Harbor. Great for cyclists. Worst thing, Wi-Fi is sketchy at best.

We really liked this place. Clean, quiet and just a few minutes away from all the towns. We will certainly be back.(The owner seemed a little grumpy when I asked him about a campsite number. I think he was having a stressful morning )

I've only stayed at Beantown Campground wants but I would definitely come back. We were there in the late fall so it was not too crowded and the fellow campers in the campground we're not loud at night. It seems that there are a lot of campers here set up for a long time stay. The owners are really nice and did not get upset when we showed up late. They just stop by our Campground the next morning to collect payment. Usually when you go to campgrounds after hours the campground host thinks that you are trying to sneak in and are very rude the next morning. These guys were great and even offered us a discount for absolutely no reason except to be friendly

Wonderful campground in Door County. They even have cable and wifi at every spot! Plenty of sunshine around for all, and trees around too. A mile from the Bailey's Harbor, sunrise eastern side of the Door County peninsula, yet about only 6 miles across to the Fish Creek sunset western side of the peninsula. Near galleries, theater, restaurants, shops, parks, etc.

Cleanest bathroom I've ever been to. Close to Cana Island approx 15 mins, 11 mins Jackson port and approx 10 mins to public beach @Lakeview good ppace to watch sunrise! Campground for both tent and RVs. Has playground for kids and swimming pool but during our stay they still close it due to cold May weather. There is electricity as well. 5 star for the cleanest bathroom

Very accommodating for tenters! We arrived after a very strong thunderstorm. Our original site was very flooded and they put us in their brand new RV for our trip. Definitely recommend Beantown!

Nice campground stayed 5 days, war supposed to have been 6 , 5 days at regular price and 1 day at passport america rate. That is what I had asked for when I reserved. Too late I found out they set me up for 5 days at full rate. When I realized what happened and asked them about it. Oh well too late and my space was being used for someone else so I could not extend. Didn t offer anything else.

Nice to camp if you have kids. There is a beautiful pool and fun game room. Only negative is that there is no posted quiet time. So people can be loud all night if they wanted. Had some loud campers partying and playing music late into the night making it hard to fall asleep and woke up the baby. They also were shooting off fire works. Otherwise good price and convenient location
