Really great campground! Awesome amenities such including new pool area, mini golf, playgrounds, sand volleyball, onsite restaurant, camp store and many flavors of hard scoop ice cream! We were there over Labor Day weekend and they had TONS of activities all weekend.

Very nice and clean campground, great camp store and amenities. Only down fall is no WiFi at campsites, only at the store and almost no cell service at all. Outside of that I would highly recommend.

Rented one of the rustic cabins over the weekend for a motorcycling adventure in the area. The cabin itself was great, being priced reasonably with working AC and decent mattresses. We interacted with a manager of the grounds named Samantha who was very accommodating for us and our bikes. She also personally prepared / cooked food for visitors, which was cheap and tasty. This campground stood out to me because it is family-run and the people working are passionate about keeping the place attractive to visitors. The train horns at night are a little bothersome, but as someone who lives in a city, this didn't bother me in the cabin with the windows shut. Would definitely return again, as overall we had an exceptional experience in the area.

Pool was great! I think $16 per kid is WAY out of line to ad the jump pad if you don't want all the rest of that stuff. I had the best burger and fries ever! Staff works hard to please us

Cabin was cozy! Suited our family of 4 very well. The park and the amenities were all in working order. And the staff was all very friendly. Very affordable and we will certainly be back!!!

They placed me in a spot you couldn't back into. There was a hill on one side so you couldn't back in! Besides that the place was ok

Stayed in a cabin over Memorial weekend. We all had a great time. We rented a golf cart as the campground is pretty big. The golf cart was a little spendy, but convenient. Fun activities for the kids. Pool was nice, weather was too cold to fully enjoy it. Candy bar bingo was a hit. Staff very nice and helpful, definitely will be back.

Started going there for as long as I can remember. I hate that they got rid of the old park, it was fit for everyone to play on and was far enough from the ranger station where it was fun to play on. The one now is way to small, close to the ranger station and not suitable for me/us teens. Only one way into the jumping pillow area and that is the long way. I was playing in the pool when my brothers told me to get out side of the pool when I went to the fence go retrieve it I had went the long way so I tried to climb the fence to get the pool toy and a staff yelled at me not to. Pool closes to early, it closes at 8 pm or something at jelly stone it closes at 10 or 11 pm and was a lot better because of the park. This is closing to an end as I I m running out of things to write. I think they are making it worse just by breathing. They are loosing my respect slowly. If the pool goes I will have no respect for them at all.

Nothing like it use to be. The campground does offer 2 small parks, a jumping pillow, a nice pool, basketball/volleyball courts, and a peddlekart track. Other than that, not a ton. They have themed weekends, but not really a lot to do on the one day that has events. Kids had more fun exploring the area away from the campground.

Really enjoyed this campground. Very helpful, kind staff and everything was so clean and well maintained. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was the total lack of wifi everywhere except for the office and the shower in the ladies room that had to have the knob pushed literally every 10 seconds to remain on. But overall very nice place!

Things I liked was our deluxe camping cabin (the inside), the pool, kids liked the jumping pillow and meeting new friends. Most of the staff was friendly (except one person who I won't describe) she didn't seem like she liked kids at all. Overheard her not nice to many kids.Things I didn't like, the "themed weekend" is one day. The Jurassic show was Cool but the scavenger hunt wasn't included (unless you paid for it) Mini Golf (9 hole) also not inclued unless you psy for it. No tree(s) outside our cabin so it was Hot in direct sun. The flag was ripped and the employee (described above) told a child that she didn't care. Not sure if we will go back.

If you enjoy a nights sleep you will not get that here as the trains run ALL night and blow there horns as they pass. The campground is right across from the tracks and you feel like your sleeping on them. Once I was asleep I got woken in the middle of the night by loud teenagers who were walking around the campground. Our site had siting water and a little muddy. LOTS of mosquitoes and flies. Seemed like more than usual. The pool and staff were nice. The surrounding area is beautiful. Nice playground but lots of bees during the day. Arcade games were mostly in not working order. Change machine was broken. Bathroom was fairly clean. The grounds could have been much better taken care of. Also having to pay extra for ALL the extras for the kids was a rip-off. I will NEVER be coming back here again.

Lots of shade trees! If you have children, plenty of things to do. Ownership/employees were friendly. Our electric post wasn't working but they sent an electrician out almost immediately. Bathrooms were clean but could use some updates. Would go back again!

Just stayed here two weekends in a row under the new ownership and all I can say is they are wonderful people, staff included. The campground is definitely making some changes and for that reason there is a lot under construction but I just returned from the weekend and in just one week they made a lot of headway. People have complained about the train, with a fan in the RV I didn't wake one time and I'm a light sleeper. Took advantage of all the crafts and events for the kids we we had a great time. Very nice people, wish them the best, I went over their future plans and sounds like the place is going to be great. New pool in July! Hope we make it back soon! Thank you

Very friendly welcome when we arrived. Our site was narrow and the hookups were spaced too far to use without extensions. The constant trains going by and having to blow their horns at the crossing made it a bit difficult to fully enjoy the whole camping experience. Our site was quite close to the main building but the wifi was terrible. There are some upgrades being made to the campground so we might camp here again in the future. The surrounding area is a beautiful ride as we brought our motorcycles and rode around. That in itself made for a worthy stay.

Staff was very friendly but, a bit disorganized. I was dissatisfied with our cabin which I did report to the staff. They may not like seeing this review but I'm going to be honest where they should have been with us. The floor in our cabin was completely rotted out. There was a strong odor of mold and must similar to a basement. Absolutely nothing for the kids to do other than playset and crafts. The jump pillow is out of order. Supposedly the pool will open soon. One set of bathroom /shower/laundry facilities is out of order. No mini golf. Half the arcade games are out of order. Major disappointment to say the least. Had I been informed honestly of the caliber of work being done I would have spent the extra money and stayed in a hotel! I'm sure this place will be nice when construction is finished but, as of for now I would not recommend this place.

EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE. A group of friends of mine came into the area to ride motorcycles throughout the Driftless area and recently stayed. The kindest group of ladies running this campground could not have been more welcoming. The facilities are clean, the cabins are clean, the pool is clean, the grounds are clean - exactly what you are looking for. The store has items from beer to firewood and essentials. The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order and very tasty. As a dummy I left my camera in the cabin and was extremely worried I had lost it forever. They were able to recover it and mail it back to me at their expense. This type of service is not found at many of the nicest resorts I have stayed at and for that I am grateful. I highly recommend visiting on your next trip into the area.

Have stayed many times over last 20 plus years. Kids are always busy and having fun which makes us have a more enjoyable weekend. Doing huge renovations right now. Great pool put in this year and can't wait to see the rest of the work they do. Can't say enough good about it. Will be back for sure!!!!

The people are very nice. Workers and the campers included. Internet and data does not reach out to use. And no Wifi in the campground for campers. We were on 132 and packed in real tight in that whole line of sights. Next front side neighbors sewer hookup was in our site at our canopy. The pool is way too small to accommodate all the campers they pack in there. Could be twice the size it is, and it's new! Doubt I will go back

Fun campground for the whole family!! Its near the Wisconsin and Mississippi river, so if you enjoy fishing or boating, this is a great location. The staff is very friendly and ready to help you have a good time. There are a lot of events for kids, as well as a few playgrounds scattered throughout. You can cool down in the pool or relax with a game of mini golf. If you are looking for a fun place to take the family, this is a great destination!

nice campground, we were there during some pretty heavy rain and the campground had some flooding, but that's out of their control in my opinion. Still a lot of renovations going on, but you can see it will be very nice once it's all done. I used to stay at this campground when it was a Jellystone and loved it then. Hoping to love this place once it's all put back together.

I don't understand the 4 star rating for this campground. I'm not a demanding person but was not happy here at all. First, the space was described as pull through but the only way to get the 35' trailer in was to back it as the space backed up to woods. That was difficult but doable. Would have likely been impossible if the campground was full. the most maddening thing is that there was a single water pipe coming up between ours and the adjacent campsite with a tee splitting it so each trailer could hook up. I initially didn't think about this being a bad thing until the next morning when we were taking showers. Every time the other trailer was using water, ours would decrease to a trickle. That was not enough flow to keep the "on demand" hot water heater going in our trailer so the shower water would be warm one minute, then go to an absolutely ice cold trickle. Not fun. There was no 50 amp service, only 30 amp. They charge $8.00 for each child to use the playground equipment, etc. I found it had to like this place very much!

This place is great. They are making many improvements, we can t wait to go back to see what all they re upgrading. Gene a worker, brought flowers to my 20 month old daughter both days we were there. It was great. It s the little things that make the great experience, and they do a great job!

Decent. No enforcement of quiet hours ( next door neighbors played bags till 2am) toilets didn't flush and bath houses were average in general. Didn't have kids with us but looked nice for kids. I would stay here again but wouldnt be my first choice.

Read to the end. The trains! OMG. Light sleepers beware. I ended up here because all the state parks were full. The staff on the phone were super helpful. Many young kids working the park with great attitudes. Lots of things kids to do and explore. I was desperate and was quite relieved to find a place to camp, and get a burger and a beer to boot. I rated this one three stars though for a few reasons. 1. because it is quite crowded and cramped. 2. r because there are train tracks just 50 feet from the campground and every 30-60 minutes the trains blows their horn. Forget about a full nights sleep. 3. Wifi only at 5% of the location. 4. REALLY expensive for a simply tent site. The staff get 5 stars! The space, cost, and train noise get 1.

New ownwrs are working hard on making improvements. New pool was really nice. Tom, Joy and Samantha were very nice and helpful whenever we were in the trading post. Liked the announcements of activities which were throughout the day although we didnt hear the bingo one...lol! We will be back.

My husband and I brought our daughter and her friend here for her 7th birthday. We rented cabin BV3. Our 13 year old son came also and brought his bike and loved riding around and talking to people. We had family and friends come up on Saturday and held a birthday party for our daughter. The only complaint we had the whole weekend was that the mini golf course had been flooded in the weeks prior to our stay and although it want flooded the greens on many of the holes were really muddy and the holes themselves were so muddy our balls were covered with mud when we took our balls out. I told the employees and they were very apologetic I want mad but just thought they should warn visitors before they start playing because we only played 6 or 7 holes. All in all it was great weekend and we will definitely be back!!
