Great service and honest workers. They work with you and have the best prices. I have had a couple jobs done by them and they are awesome. They honor the quotes they give you. I have even referred family to them. Haven't gone to anyone else since they started work on my car because of how great the service is.

My wife was returning from taking my daughter to college in Michigan and popped a tire. These guys took great care of her, finding a tire to match her car on a Saturday night. Exceptional service, thanks for being so great.

Mike was very respectful and kind to me. He was able to change my headlight bulbs pretty quickly and at a decent price for the work. I will be calling them again if I need something done on my vehicle.

Car broke down while I was on a girls trip to Bayfield. Was towed to D&M. They got us taken care of and back on the road within hours. And they didn't even charge us! They could have taken us for a pretty penny being we were 4 ladies, on a Sunday, 4 hours from home. Got our Lake Superior tour back on the road with a patch and a valve stem repair on two separate cars... starting at 7:20 on a Saturday. We were on the road an hour later. Absolutely superb service!

D&M Automotive is amazing! You don t find places like this anymore. I was serviced on a Sunday with a diagnosis and complete brake repair in an hour. What auto shop is open on Sundays anymore?! We broke down on the side of the road, far from home and out of state with our kids and a trailer full of gear. D&M got us in immediately, ordered parts delivered the next day (even though it was a weekend). Work was high quality, price was fair, people were friendly and helpful with other local recommendations as well (hotel, park, etc).

We were stranded in Bayfield Wisconsin on a girls trip and Dickie totally came to our rescue, kept the shop open for us and repaired our fuel pump in less than an hour so that we could get home to our families in MN! These guys were great! Not only did they get me in quickly, they got my vehicle back on the road sooner than expected. They were very courteous and did an excellent job fixing my brakes at a very reasonable price. Really helped me out of a jam since I was 300 miles from home doing work in the area and I depend on my vehicle so much. I told my local coworkers how impressed I was with their service. I got to the repair shop at 745 on a Saturday morning. I was up for my All Class Reunion. I told the guy at the front desk I could hear this rubbing in the back. We took a quick test drive and he said it was the rear brakes. I called my boyfriend back in the Cities and he said go ahead and get them replaced. I was out of there by 8:15! I thought I'd be sitting there for a few hours. I can't thank them enough for the great service. I would highly recommend!Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

Great service, and great prices. My wife and I share a car and we had an important repair to make for the vehicle to be safe to drive, they got us in their schedule and fixed it for us quick so we could continue on. It was fantastic, never had service like that before.

I went to D&M Automotive to get my exhaust fixed. They were so helpful and got me in the same day to look at my truck. They had me come back the next day to get it fixed. Top notch service! We were rolling thru town with trailer in tow and had a bad tire, after 5pm. We fortunately found D&M and they were so kind and helpful. They immediately put our vehicle up on a jack, diagnosed and fixed the bad tire. All within 20 minutes and for a extremely affordable price. I would highly recommend this service shop to anyone needing service in the Ashland area.Service: Tires

Very quick and very good work . I bought a new battery from Napa in iron river and couldn t get anyone to put the battery in for me, not even orielly. Came to d&m took them no less than10 min with no charge. We brought our vehicle in to get new control arm and CV Joints and we had another mechanic look under and confirm that there was not a new rear control arm.This place has a bad reputation for this kind of stuff. After asking around we heard nothing but bad things about this place and they are known for doing shady things. The world is always gonna need mechanics so idk why this shady business for job security.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are amazing - very honest, humble and down to earth as well. Would definitely look them up if you ever have car troubles in this area!We were just outside of Washburn, traveling from MN and our front driver s side tire started making a horrendous scrapping sound. Being a Saturday afternoon they were the only place in the vicinity still open, so we limped our car over to Ashland where they welcomed us to take a look at what the problem might be. Simply ended up being a rusted out dust shield and a 5 minute fix, but worth a TON in piece of mind and enabled us to move on and enjoy the rest of our trip. Thank you guys so much!!!

It was an early Saturday morning (probably the coldest day of this winter) my van broke down at Kwik Trip in Ashland. I rolled up to the guys in their D&M Automotive truck and asked if they had cables to help me get a jump. They didn't have any on hand, but without hesitation, volunteered to run to their shop to help us out. They were back within minutes and got my van started. These guys didn't hesitate to help me and refused payment.Thank you for you help.

Awesome service and price. Our wheel bearing went out as we were driving through Ashland to go back home. They answered on a Sunday late afternoon of Labor Day weekend and had it fixed Monday morning of Labor Day. Price was amazing for a holiday weekend. Couldn t recommend more!
