Been a while since I was in such a comfortable place. Not sure what's changed about the place. But, I'm not going to complain about the fact that my last few visits have been nice.Rooms: Rooms were really well kept. The cleaning crew is definitely a good change from the past crew. Well done.

We stayed overnight in our RV and had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant inside. Our experience here was great and very convenient. They have water and electric available for a fee, however we didn t need either so we were able to stay for free. There were a few other RVs on a Sunday night so it s possible it gets busier on weekends. The food was all very good and every one was very friendly and accommodating!

Stayed 07/27/23 at the hotel. It was clean and quiet and I got a good night's sleep. Hotel staff were friendly and professional. Very good value for the money. Much cheaper than anything in nearby Ashland. I can't rate the casino because I didn't use it. I did use the adjacent convenience store, however. It had the snack and beverages that I was looking for.

The rooms were nicer and in better shape than they were last year when we stayed there. Restaurant was open, menu selection was decent and food was good. Snack bar in casino is indefinitely closed (it was closed last year too). I think can of beer was alittle pricey in the casino- $3.25/can. Casino hours are 10 am to 2 am. Staff was pretty friendly and helpful.

We boondocked for the night. Free to boondock but electric and dump available for a cost. Big parking lot. We went to the casino for a bit before bed, never won anything but had fun. Clean atmosphere and machines. Free soft drinks and coffee while you play, being from Canada this is new to us.

Stopped there twice in the last 2 months. 500 bucks at less than $3 bet didn't last an hour both times....

Stopped in the casino, the place is very dark.Slots seemed to be mostly penny machines. No one was at customer service (but a sign said they would return in an hour).Workers didn't seem to motivated to help customers.* A number of online reviews mentioned avoiding this hotel and casino.

It's a casino so, it's good when winning, sucks when you lose.

Rooms were terrible shower seals are bad was high pitch Wiesel the whole time in the shower, rooms are very nasty, window sills we re all sticky and windows very dirty and the room was full of mosquitoes, front desk guy was disrespectful never had towels for in the pool nor for in the room. Bathroom floor under the sink and water damage. They don t have have breakfast and the restaurant was closed and the vending machines were pretty much empty had like 5 choices. Would not recommend staying here to anyone.

Really nice small town casino. I stopped in for my birthday and signed up for a new card. They gave me 15 in free play for signing up and I spun the wheel on the kiosk and won 20 more in free play. Very generous with free play compared to other casinos. I also got the chili at there restaurant. It was delicious. The waitress wasn't the best but it is what it is.

One night stay in Jacuzzi Suite in September 2022. Came out to $102 after 20% discount for AAA and player s club - a reasonable rate I thought. Room was dated, chairs uncomfortable, jacuzzi dated but very relaxing. Pool and hot tub closed, almost didn t stay here because of that. Generous welcome back and hotel promotional packages. Got $15 in free play altogether and $2 off $7 order or more at the restaurant. Won a few bucks on video poker and had a little fun there. Had a few of my favorite sodas at the beverage dispenser on the gaming floor - Cherry Pepsi and Mountain Dew. What really stood out was the restaurant. Ordered a Club Sandwich with Fries with onions, green peppers, and olives, hold the tomatoes. Cook forgot to hold the tomatoes, and they were out of turkey, but they made it right and tasted really good nonetheless. Restaurant staff was very nice and friendly, price was reasonable, service was excellent! 5 stars for the restaurant! Ingredients were fresh and very high quality and I was very satisfied with my meal! When I checked in, the bald gentleman at the hotel front desk was not very friendly or welcoming and needs to work on his customer service skills. He did get better though after I checked in. Location not ideal, 10 miles east of Ashland in the middle of nowhere and a bit of a drive to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands, but doable. Player s Club staff friendly and helpful. Need bigger towels for rooms. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. 4/5 stars. Enjoyed my stay. It was only an overnight stay but was very relaxing and seemed like I was there for days. Appreciate the no smoking policy. :)

The place is really nice and the beds are comfy. I just wish that they in-force quite time after a certain time/hr. To much loud noises and people banging things around.. if your on the bottom floor be prepared that your gonna hear running up and down the hallways.. Guests have no respect for each other as theirs constant stomping through the night, banging on walls, you can hear people showering at night or doing the nasty.. pool and game room is closed due to Covid witch is understandable just make sure if you have kids to bring extra toys with.. Hotel bathrooms weren t as stocked I had no wash clothes and hardly and body towels and hand towels mirrors looked like they weren t whipped down and their was blood on the floor of the bathroom. The bathtub would clog up and you probably should clean it before hopping into it. Found dog hair in the tub.. I m not even sure if this place is pet friendly.I suggest if you want a good nights sleep to take some kinda sleeping pill..

Had an amazing stay! Checked in late & was very well informed about everything. I liked that the casino was smoke free! Smelled very nice & the room was VERY clean. Bartender was also awesome & all the staff was sweet & helpful. Definitely will be staying again when I m in these parts. & the fact that they close at 2 really deters the riff raff you usually come across at casinos. Well job Bad River! Thanks for everything!

I reviewed this Lodge. Was not to excited that after hours of being in the car, even coming in after check-in time as I called to inform I would be late they were totally fine with...... I stood at front desk with 3 other couples for almost 45 minutes. Not judging but was so tired I wanted bed. I asked to see my room before I checked in or signed for my 5 day stay, in which after 2 phone calls the desk clerk made & security came, brought me to see & inspect room for I was concerned from the previous reviews. The wait was about the only thing that was upsetting besides my room key's had to be fixed everyday we were there do to there system so I was told. The house keeper's were nice & polite, with also maintaining the upkeep or cleaning & stoke of bathroom needs. Got to know more and more of the staff and security team as I was there. Found there were short staff do to there year's harvest in rice fields with I can totally understand. No free breakfast in the morning nor were you able to swim even though there was a indoor pool. If there wasn't a wait at the desk from start, breakfast, the room keys everyday having to be reprogrammed and pool I would give the hotel a 5 . I will be back to stay at this hotel and with hopes that these few things are resolved.

Wife and I spent the night here, nice clean casino, staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the Wall of Veterans they have on display, members of the community that have served, I got a little history from a security guard and she proudly pointed out a picture of her grandmother. This wall alone is a good reason to stop.
