Great communication and attention to detail! They were able to get me in right away. They understood my budget, and were able to help me plan out my repairs in a way that didn't cause me to break the bank. Also, enjoyed the touch of them including their branded car air fresheners at the end of the service!

Absolute stellar service! My daughter's Mini was broken down, it was Spring Break, and we needed a solution fast. VL Auto had it diagnosed and part ordered by mid-day the following day, two days later the car was up and running. The really came through in an emergency, quick service, reasonable and transparent pricing, these guys really are the best! Thank you, Nick!

Set up an appointment for a walnut blast valve cleaning, price was comparable to other shops who would have used chemical cleaners for the same job. Unfortunately for me this did solve my underlying issue. After some additional diagnosis and a few other things were tried, the VL team was able to diagnose my underlying issue and got me set up for another appointment to rectify. Was able to wander around the shop briefly and look at some of their other in-house project cars and chat with a few of the tech's. Everyone seemed knowledgeable, and something I think is important anyway, they seemed to genuinely like/care about cars. Didn't get a sense of B/S, or a feeling like I was being sold service that I didn't need. Would recommend for euro car service/diagnosis.

I am rating VL Auto Repair 4 out of 5 stars because of the delayed communication between VL Auto Repair and The Warranty Company. The service was great, Nick communicated with me all the way through the process on what the issue(s) were and what needed to be repaired. The warranty Company held VL Auto Repairs hands from repairing completely from the start. Which in turn I had to bring my vehicle back. Nick took care of the issue on a timely basis.

Everyone is really great there. They got me in fast and found the real problem. The car was done the same day. They dropped us off at home and picked us up when my brakes were taken care of. We will definitely go back to VL!

I had purchased my used vehicle but I don't drive much so I've only put on about 20,000 miles in the last four years. I'm hoping to take a longer trip so I realized I had some issues that were starting to come up and over the course of a few weeks things started to get noticeably worse. I figured I needed to have some attention put toward my vehicle but I haven't really had any mechanical issues that needed attention and didn't have a "regular" mechanic. I do have a Subaru and several years ago I had taken another Subaru to a local dealer thinking that was going to be my best option. It was not, but I've been fortunate that I didn't need to seek additional repair needs.I was a first time customer with VL Auto Repair and only knew about them thru a mailer campaign they had done. (If you get something in the mail, save it for a discount!) I called in on a Monday and they were able to get me in on Wednesday for an inspection. After the inspection they found several issues that I figured they would find and a few issues that I wasn't aware of. Some of those issues were optional but one could have been very dangerous. We went over what should be done and I was lucky that they had the parts in house and were able to get the work done in the same day. They also sent me an email with the things that were recommended but could wait until I returned from my trip.Later that day I realized I had forgotten about an afternoon appointment that I didn't think about because I hadn't expected to be able to have the repairs going right away. My car wasn't going to be ready by then so VL Auto went out of their way to get me to and from my appointment. My car was ready by the end of the day as expected, there were no excuses for additional charges and as a first time customer I felt like someone who had been bringing them a classic car collection for regular daily maintenance and I had spent millions with them for many years. While I've only driven my car maybe a mile now since I picked it up, I have full confidence that my vehicle is ready to go and will get me there safely.One caveat that I consider a bonus, if you are one of the unfortunate few that has dog allergies, please let them know when you call in. I am not and I love dogs but currently don't have one in my life so it gave me great joy to walk in the door and be greeted with the enthusiastic appreciation that only a friendly dog can give. While I was waiting for the final touches on my vehicle I was in my own world of smiles playing with and giving pets to the shop dogs.Oh yeah, and on top of it all, I had a remote starter that I didn't think worked so I went thru this past winter wishing I had been able to get my car warmed up. As it turned out, I just didn't know I should have holding the remote button longer than I thought and because of VL Auto I'll be ready for it next winter!I highly recommend the team at VL Auto Repair for your vehicle maintenance needs and I'm actually looking forward to the next time I need to take my car in.

A great shop. Very courteous on the phone. Nick knows his stuff and lets me know what to do to keep my car running smooth for the long term. The technicians know their trade and do a great job taking care of my car.

Really amazing experience. They custom made a brake line for me and for a reasonable price for the amount of work that needed to be done. Nick was kind and gave us a tour of the facility. Would definitely bring my car there again.

I brought my car in for an oil change as part of their Paws & Pistons promotion supporting local animal shelters, and had a great experience. They observed several things that needed fixing or maintenance, the biggest being a new set of tires, and were able to source and install them that same day, even though my car is a rather uncommon model. The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond with the work they did, and I could tell that this is an auto shop that caters to people who really care about their cars. I will definitely be going to them for any auto service in the future!

If you want to experience outstanding service book your appointment with VL performance. They actually found what was wrong with my carWhich my primary garage could not figure out. Once my car was fixed they brought it right to work for me. Super friendly and down right honest. Highly recommend them

Ive been a customer to the VL family for a long time, but this was my first service done on the repair side. I had scheduled an oil change and upon arrival i was greeted by welcoming front office staff as well as a very happy puppy. They were very upfront, and honest as well. They mentioned they were a little behind due to things that were out of their control, but they still were done faster than places ive gone before. I was able to wait for my vehicle in a very comfy waiting area and had the shop puppy to keep me company. This was a very welcoming experience and one to remember. Upon completion they even cleaned my car! The staff is the most knowledgeable ive seen, gave me full details on the car and even future service that i was unaware of. They were worth the drive and will be coming back for future service. Thank you VL!

Nick was very willing to work me into a "next day repair" of my brakes that had that horrible metal grinding sound. I had called a couple other service shops & they were telling me it would be weeks before they could help me. My confidence in the parts they used & the promise to stand behind the work they did is MORE than I would have expected!! Thank you for your professional & accommodating service!!

Traveling from Virginia to Wisconsin had wiper fluid issues, made app seen quickly fixed quickly. Fabulous knowledgeable staff, quality parts and didn't break the bank. Would definitely recommend and visit again if needed. You are all greatly appreciated

Despite only having bad news and a very large bill for my beloved 2013 Dodge Dart Turbo and I. These guys did their best to help me in my most difficult time. They welcomed me with open arms, gave me a tour of their shops, and I was able to meet some of the techs there. Nick has a big heart, and he is an honest, car loving enthusiast. This is his dream, and he's doing it. It is so awesome to be serviced by him and his team. Thank you so much.

Nick and his team are prime examples of what true professionals look like in the auto industry. I recently moved to Green Bay and brought my 2015 BMW f30 and 2010 BMW x3 into Nick at VL for oil changes. While I was waiting for my cars, Nick gave me a tour of his shop, showed me some of the incredible cars he is working on, introduced me to his staff, and even showed me one of the most incredible Dino rooms I have ever seen! After my service, Nick even sent me the full vehicle inspection done by one of his technicians, for both of my cars. I would, with no doubts, recommend VL to anyone, especially if you are looking for any type of service for a Euro vehicle. 5 stars honestly just does not do Nick & his team justice. This is truly one of the most impressive and genuine shops that I have ever been in. Hit up Nick if you want your service done right the first time!

After multiple tries, the team over at VL Auto Repair got my car up, running and WARM again! When the first attempt to fix a coolant leak was unsuccessful, Nick had me bring it back for further diagnosis and his team got everything running right again. I spent less on my 3 visits than I budgeted for 1 and got to play with the shop pups while I waited. Would recommend, will return for future needs! Thanks to everyone over at VL Auto!

My car was running super rough and eventually would not start, so I had it towed here since it seemed like they had a ton of experience working with engines.When I got my car back a week or so later after they "fixed" the underlying issue, it was running just as poorly as before, and even had an additional check engine light for the coolant gauge which was not appearing previously. The next day the car was unable to start.I sent them a text that day saying I was disappointed that they did not address the car's original issue, and let them know that I was worried they would charge me a second time to tear apart the engine. Their response was "bring the car in".Since I had no idea of they'd charge me a second time to diagnose the issue/tear apart the engine, I took the gamble and brought my car to a different shop. Upon looking at the engine, the shop found that VL had put the engine back together poorly. There were missing bolts, brackets, and the coolant wire had been ripped completely out (explaining the new check engine code once I left VL).I ended up having to have VLs $2k worth of parts and "repairs" completely redone by the new shop.

I ve used VL for maintenance, and recently had them install a tune and intake on my Audi. They ve done great and are very knowledgeable about European cars! I would definitely give them a try if your looking for a reliable shop.

Some preventive maintenance done today. Nice staff there and a great facility, really like that they're all about using bg products. If I need anything in the future I'll be going here, I hope you guys enjoy your new octopus!

I was really impressed with their knowledge and training about the Volkswagen Jetta. Had my oil changed there. Very friendly customer greeting. I like dogs so having Diesel there and interacting with dog was fun! I like thevdiscount coupons they send out for oil changes. I like their service to the community thru thevanimal shelter. However, prices for auto repair seem very high compared with other comparable dealers and services unfortunately.

Appointment was on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. I knew these folks were serious car people when I saw they had a dyno on site. If you're a car person, with a special affinity for your vehicle(s), these are the people for you. I recently took my car in to get an inspection, the air conditioner fixed, as well as new tires. The shop was very clean and luxurious. The team was extremely friendly and assured me they would resolve the issues I was having!They completed the inspection in a timely manner and were able to identify the ac issue- it was not as bad as expected!! They recommended efficient and economical solutions that I was extremely happy with! They also recommended some great tires, giving me plenty of options addressing my concerns and completed the install/alignment!All in all, they were extremely knowledgable and made the experience easy and, overall, did an outstanding job!!! I will definitely be taking my car in here for any future work and I would highly recommend to all!! VL helped manage a stressful breakdown and went above expectations. Thank you to the team.Here is our situation: Heading into Appleton from Chicago, our car s engine light went on and engine powered down to 25mph. It was after 5pm on a Friday. VL began diagnosing that evening (when they close at 6pm) and continued the work on Saturday (when they are closed.)They said work would be done by 6pm Monday and called before 3pm saying it was done.All work and parts were guaranteed and could be rectified near our home in the Chicago area, if need be.We got home safely and are grateful to VL!
