I know there are sometimes mixed reviews about this dealership. I can only tell you about my experience. It could not have gone better. I dealt with Dave Berg. Super nice guy and very helpful. He made the buying experience a pleasure. Easily the best person I dealt with when purchasing a car . He seems like he really cares about the customer. I wouldn t hesitate to buy another vehicle from him( them)

Amazing experience getting my Hyundai serviced! This place is setting the bar too high for others.The staff were all friendly and helpful. The prices are fair. Shout out to Jeff who was our main contact! They answered questions and helped find the necessary work to be done, while not signing you up for services you don't need.I asked to have a strut repaired based on another shop's recommendation. They checked and sent me a video showing I didn't need to bother with that. Bergstrom mechanics saved me a good deal of money on that alone.The amenities are great here - the shuttle service is a big stress reducer, the coffee is great, and hey they gave my car a little wash for free! Can't say enough good things about my experience.

Once again I am sincerely impressed with the HORRIBLE after sales service. My son bought a new Elantra and it has now been back 6 times for the same problem. Four times they said it was fixed and the moment he pulled away the check engine light came on. When I intervened on his behalf (he's 16) I was told by the service tech that yep, it's all fixed. Pulled away and the check engine light came on. Called them and asked to talk to the Service manager and he never returned the call. When I finally talked to him, his responses ran the gamut of "Well the computer says it still needs parts" or "Hyundai says it needs to be fixed, not us, or " I never got the message to call you. When asked why his service techs told my son something different, he said "well that's a he said, she said problem". What a tool. Wouldn't take any ownership of the problem and has no idea what customer service looks like. Just read some of the reviews, they clearly don't have qualified people running the department or working in it. Don't bother with Bergstrom.

Made an appointment for prepaid oil change and tire rotation. After waiting for 1.5 hours. I was told the car was ready, but the tires were not rotated. The mechanic had a lame excuse for why he didn't feel like doing it. I voiced my displeasure. The service advisor quickly sent the car back into the shop to complete the tire rotation. Why did I have to demand the service that I prepaid for? Why does an oil change & tire rotation take 1.5 hours when I have an appointment? What other shenanigans go on when the owner is not looking?

Best service department in the Valley! The guys that work here are awesome. Timely, helpful, thorough, honest, professional, and always super nice, I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Jeff is a standout. Highly recommend.

I can t state enough how happy we are with our experience at Bergstrom. We absolutely love our new Tucson, and our salesman Chris went above and beyond. Never any pressure, just complete honesty and concern that we were getting everything we wanted. He made us feel very comfortable, and we feel like we gained a friend. Dave did an excellent job of explaining all the bells and whistles, and had incredible patience for us tech challenged people! We are now a lifelong customer!

I have been in process of finding a new vehicle, and have worked with Bergstrom Hyundai of Appleton for a few months now. I just wanted to let people know that they have made the process very comfortable and free of pressure. I especially want to thank Chris Banovich. The service manager, Sean, was the absolute best! He explained everything, took his time, was patient and respectful. Sean went above and beyond helping me to understand the issues with my car and never made me feel dumb . I think in today s world, the term customer service is an oxymoron. Although Hyundai in Appleton is 120 miles away, I know I ll bring my car back for major maintenance and repairs!! Thank you Sean and Bergstrom Hyundai

We have been a customer now for over 30 years. Bergstroms was always a dealer we could count on, we purchased all of our vehicles from them, had all of the service done by them and considered them a pillar of the community. Things have definitely changed.We went in to get our oil changed and the price went from $51 to $66 since late October. I asked for a reason why, they said the oil went up. I called Van Horn hyaundai in fond du lac, wi and they still want $50 for their oil change . We feel lied to and violated. Never again will we or my family be a customer of Bergstrom automotive. Making money is one thing, taking advantage of people is another

It's atrocious that Bergstrom is still in business and just becoming a monopoly. Your customer service is horrible and to be completely honest, a 5 year old could do better. Every time I have to deal with bergstrom, it's something.Multiple times I have called regarding a question and am told I would get a call back, and I never have anyone reach out to me or leave a VM.I went there for a recall and whoever scheduled me set me up for the shuttle service. When I got there, I was told I am not on their list and they don't set that up and I have to request it myself. The next time I needed the shuttle, I was on the list. I was greeted shortly after check-in, so that was great. Then the shuttle driver, didn't know where he was going and missed the turn until I said something and then he did an illegal turn in the middle of the road. He had GPS on...Recently there for another recall and was asked if I wanted an oil change and I stated that I get free tire rotation where I bought my tires and i was told if I get the oil change, they would do it for me, it was never done.I wanted to test drive a car, location said GB and I just happened to be driving to GB with my husband. Stopped at the dealership and they said it was at a different location. Sales rep said he would call and see if he could get it there for us to look at and how long we would be in GB. We told him we are from Appleton and will only be in GB for 1-2 hours as we were grabbing a bite to eat. Sales person calls and says that they can have the vehicle there, but we had to stay in GB longer. They get the vehicle to GB with us only having 15 min before they close to look it over and test drive it and to come find out, they brought it from APPLETON!! To say we were pissed, is an understatement. Then when I asked to bring it back to Appleton, I was denied and said it had to stay in GB. You messed with the wrong person, because then I just called the Appleton location and said I was interested in the jaguar and would like to look at it and just like that, it was brought back to Appleton. I don't play petty games. Ultimately, it cost them not selling the vehicle to me.I was told that I need new tires... I just got new tires in 2020. They have 30k miles on them, but good for 65k. We then took it to pomps and were told the tires are fine and are half way through the life of the tires as they should be with the 30k on them. They gave me a list multiple things that are "critical" that need to be done that would have added up to a couple thousand and I can guarantee most don't need to be done.I could go on and on!Bergstrom, do BETTER!!!!

Had quite a few issues with my car and Sean in the service department was more than accommodating. Highly recommend taking your car here. They found all the issues with my car and even had a loner car for me. Made a stressful situation way less stressful.

When I brought my vehicle in, I asked if the vehicle being a manual transmission would be a problem. I was told that it's fine and they could make it work, as I'm walking out to my loaner vehicle I hear the tech stall my vehicle 2-3 times consecutively. I mentioned it to the person walking me out, they said they would look into it yet I was never told anything upon picking the vehicle back up. The original person at the desk, the one walking me out and the tech who stalled my vehicle were not around when I came back.

They had free public charging. Which was nice. I've been tempted to pickup an EV6 while charging because I know those vehicle charge faster and have better range than mine.I'll never go to a Bergstrom again after they purposefully closed off their free public chargers. It used to be a nice community gesture and advertising tactic.

Purchased a new Hyundai from Dave at Bergstrom Hyundai, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience there. I knew exactly what car I wanted, and after speaking on the phone I spent about 2 hours total in the dealership sorting out the details to make the purchase. It was easy and hassle-free, and I was ecstatic to be in my new car so soon after contacting the dealership.I have, since purchasing the car, brought it in for scheduled maintenance and to have a tire patched and the experience with the service department was fast and easy.I cannot recommend a Hyundai enough, and if you are going to purchase one, do it from Bergstrom!

I walked in expecting to look at a car or two and walked out with a brand new hyundai. Being a first time car buyer i was a little nervous/hesitant walking in, but Rodney walked me through everything in terms i understood. He was kind and funny and above everything VERY helpful. 10/10 experience

I was last at Bergstrom Victory Imports for a semi-synthetic oil change. I was quoted one price but the actual cost was half again as much. This caused my initial frustration. While the invoice did say, prices vary the service advisor made no mention of any up charges for the oil change I was requesting when I dropped the car off and I figured that it was referring to a large vehicle needing more oil. I drive a Hyundai Elantra and remain baffled at how a small car such as that would require an up charge.What disappointed me even more than the misleading estimated price is the way the service manager handled the situation when I brought it to his attention. I found the interaction to be extremely unprofessional. At one point in the conversation he said can t you read. He also stated that I shouldn t be upset and is this additional charge really going to break the bank? I found that to be very insensitive, given that he has no idea what my financial situation is. I ultimately paid the charges but let him know that I would tell others of my experience. At that point he once again took a hostile, condescending tone. This time he said that none of it was his fault and blamed the error on the computer software. He stated the software is not capable of giving an accurate estimate for any vehicle because they are all different and that it is impossible to fix the software. I wonder what vehicle the base price is designed for or if no vehicle would qualify for that price.When discussing a warranty issue of the back-up camera malfunctioning, the man sitting beside the manager told me I shouldn t need a back-up camera-just turn my head. I feel this was once again unprofessional bordering on disrespectful. While it is not super difficult to back-up without a camera the car has one that is warranted so I would like for it to work properly.Once I returned to my car, I found a panel on the passenger seat that was left off from wherever it was supposed to go so I went back inside once more to have this put back on. Instead of apologizing or saying nothing the service advisor made a couple more rude sarcastic comments. I guess it was a fitting end to the visit. Needless to say, I will not be returning any time soon.

The following was sent to the dealership multiple times, I have not received a response to date."I purchased an Ioniq 6 on 7/7/2023 and since have joined a Facebook group for the Ioniq. I have seen many people that have purchased an Ioniq 6 Limited that have received a complimentary coffee mug with the Ioniq logo. My parents also purchased a Limited about a week after I did, from your dealership, they received their complimentary mug a couple weeks ago. To date I have spoken with Dave and Justin who both said Hyundai sends the mug and the dealership does not. I then emailed Hyundai where they stated" We recommend you continue trying to contact the manager of the sales department or the General Manager of the dealership to discuss your concerns with the mug as we do not handle such inquiry because each Hyundai dealership is independently owned and operated.They are in the best position to help as state laws limit our ability to intervene with dealership transactions."So here I am contacting you in hopes this issue can be resolved. I know this is just a mug, but it comes down to my perception of the dealer and manufacturer and their handling of customer service. Right now the perception is very low and I will continue to express my lack of satisfaction."Maybe this will generate a response.

I was always impressed with the service I received at Bergstrom on victory Lane, but the last two years the service has not been good. I have been told my car needs services that have already been done. I have had to tell them I should not be charged for tire rotation because I have purchased tires from Bergstrom.When I questioned the service people about this they said it was difficult to find previous records In their computer system. Personally, I think the mechanics are rewarded when extra services are done on vehicles. Recently I took my Hyundai in for a theft prevention recall. I was told by the man that checked my mileage and took pictures of my vehicle That this was indeed a software update and that there was no steering wheel club needed. To make a long story short when I checked out there was a box on my driver seat with the club in it. The service reps Don t seem to be as knowledgeable or organized as in the past. Not sure what the problem is but they need to go back to the personalize service they once had.

I just picked up my vehicle after it was at the service shop for over a month and a half almost 2 months. On the drive home my engine light came on probably 5 minutes after I left the dealership. I took a picture of my dash blinking saying that my engine was overheating and then the check engine light came on. As soon as I got into Oshkosh my vehicle didn't want to go faster than 15 miles an hour. I had to wait for an hour just to go through the process of the financing because they needed to charge their tablet because it was dead. I have been working all week on 12s and had my son with. When I pulled in to the driveway to pop the hood, I noticed that the coolant hose was detached from the engine completely I don't know if that was a mistake an accident or if it was done on purpose but my engine is now smoking. My engine was to be replaced and it does not look like it got replaced and I was supposed to get a New case selent replaced and it was due to the orange color of the fluid in the vehicle in which the orange color is still in the silent so I don't even know if they change it out or not and just said that they did because it was under warranty- 2 different ones one from the dealership and 1 through my bank. I appreciated the young woman that kept in touch with me throughout the process because she was the only one that kept reaching out and her name was Victoria and Jeff was also another person that reached out to me several times to keep in touch about the Car. I went through a lot of trouble just to get my vehicle back to the destination that it got too I'm not gonna be able to drive it back up and I'm not gonna pay for a toffy I am so irritated with the entire experience I would not recommend anyone take their vehicle here to get fixed. Their rental was amazing hence the 2 star and I really appreciate Victoria and Jeff for keeping in contact with me when I didn't know what was going on. I am seriously very disappointed in the whole process with everything else because I didn't know what was going on until I reached out to Victoria.

I don t trust the staff at Bergstrom. The We buy your vehicle is a complete scam, and they will mark your vehicle down as much as they can, so they cut you a check for far less than what the vehicle is actually worth. Like, it s a complete joke, and a waste of time to even bring your vehicle for an appraisal. I ve been in the auto industry for at least 15 years, and the games they play is comical, and only works on those who are clueless and ignorant. Do your research on this company, and realize there are far better options to sell your vehicle to a more honest, reputable dealer, other than Bergstrom.I will say that their staff is semi-friendly, but there s a sense of arrogance that lingers during my past visits. That s why I take my business to other trustworthy and genuine dealers who are more well trained in sale execution, authentic with their personalities and straightforward without the gotcha gimmicks. Do better Bergstrom.You re welcome.
