The place itself is very unique. The owners are awesome. They are very friendly and they will make you feel like you are visiting an extended family. Breakfasts are so yummy, not a tipical scrambled eggs and bacon but believe me it will make your tummy happy.View of the lake is beautiful especially the sun rises. There's a big deck where you can sit down and relax to the sound of the waves. There's also excess to the beach. All together I had a great experience and I am planning on returning for another stay at this place because it was and it is worth it.

Nice room, soft towels, fantastic breakfast and view. Close to winery, Son's of Skaliway, and Smashed on the rocks. Fun getaway, hope to go back soonFood & drinks: The breakfast was excellent!

We always wanted to stay at a bed and breakfast, but never found the perfect one in our travels, we also wanted to see the fall colors in Door County and never had. Then we came along the prefect bed and breakfast at the gateway to Door County and it made for the PERFECT FALL GETAWAY. This could not have been a better place to stay for our fall getaway. The sun rise over Lake Michigan was beautiful!!! We left our windows open at night to the relaxing sound of the waves crashing, it made for great sleep. The food was delicious and the hospitality second to none. One perk to us was it is an adults only location so that made it even more relaxing to us. There is also a fire pit next to lake to enjoy. We will 100% be returning here for another stay.

So as locations go this is amazing. On the shore of lake Michigan. The property is nicely landscaped and has beautiful views. The owners are extremely friendly which makes your stay there even more enjoyable. The rooms are well kept and clean. The breakfasts we had were very good and served as I would call family style seating. Very close to sturgeon Bay but far enough away from the hustle to be quiet and serene.

Loved this place! Right on the water, so there is the constant crashing of waves from Lake Michigan heard in the room. Stayed in the Tropical Room-a little piece of the tropics in Wisconsin. Breakfast was excellent-Mexican quiche one morning, and caramel apple pancake the other. Kari is a fantastic host! The critters were an added plus.Tip for future guests-there is no AC, so keep the ceiling fan on. Room did get warm during the day (we were out and about so didn t directly deal with it) but cooled off a lot at night with the lake breeze . Fan helps keep the air circulating and comfortable.Thanks for having us-Will definitely be back!

First time at a bed and breakfast, and it was an incredible experience! Wonderful views and rooms (very clean and comfortable), great atmosphere and AWESOME owners. You can tell that the owners want to make every stay special. Rooms feel very private, and they all have lake views and outdoor sitting areas. I will definitely come back to this place, hopefully many times!!!

Love this place!! Very clean friendly and the view is beautiful!! Breakfast was very nice great food and excellent company. Kari and Dave were great hosts. I would definitely recommend The Waters Edge to anyone traveling to the area. On that note if anyone says they had an unpleasant stay your being nit picky and should go stay at the Ritz!!

Beautiful location. Excellent breakfasts. Welcoming hosts. The room was cozy. Hosts do smoke on the patio outside the northwoods room. There is no AC but the temps were cool at night. Wonderful to be able to go to sleep hearing the waves wash the shoreline. The rocky shoreline does make walking the beach difficult but there's a very nice harbor very close with a boardwalk.

Beautiful scenery. The weather was pretty hot and the room we stayed in was too hot to stay in. We bought a fan to get us through the night. The portable AC wasn't enough. Maybe in a different season the room won't be too hot to stay in.Overall, it was a nice getaway.

We just came back from a delightful stay at this beautiful and most relaxing vacation spot in Algoma WI. If you ever need a place to go for a short or long stay try this place on Lake Michigan. Your hosts and owners Kari and Dave are very nice and the de'cor in each room is different and breakfast is a wonderful feast. Bruce & Carol Klein

Edit to add: We came back! It was just as awesome as the first time! Breakfast is great! Room is cozy! I highly recommend this place!Loved hearing the waves while laying in bed!! The beach was nice. The hosts were friendly. Rooms were clean! Breakfast was yummy! We will definitely be back!

We were greeted by a wonderful person named Carri. She explained all there is about the room. Beautiful view from the long outside porch of the lake. There was a rainbow in the opening from the trees. Breakfast is served at 8 am. We stayed in the Hollywood room. This stay was a wonderful gift from our kids.

Seriously awesome. Nice clean room, self check in if you get in late, and a private balcony entrance where you can walk down to the water. The Mexican quiche for breakfast was amazing!

This bed and breakfast provided a great get-away for my wife and me. The owners were very nice and the location was great. I would definitely recommend this B&B to others.

Cute little bed and breakfast. Make sure you have a solid cell connection, as the provided Wi-Fi can be spotty depending on which room you get.
